Karibea Valmenière Hotel

I stayed at this modern hotel for two weeks and felt very comfortable. The ability to communicate in English was important to me. The room was very modern with a great shower, and the breakfast was also very good. Despite the short distance to the highway, the rooms were quiet thanks to excellent windows. There is also a large free parking lot. The only drawback was the second elevator, which was never available during those two weeks, resulting in longer wait times for all guests. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel to every traveler.

This hotel met and exceeded all expectations! We were only here one night, but we enjoyed our stay. The room is what we were expecting and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop view for the sunset is unbeatable and that was one of the best parts of our stay in Martinique. I would recommend this hotel to others heading this way.

The public areas to this hotel are modern and pleasant. However the room I stayed in was in need of some tlc and possibly a deep clean. The noise from the main road outside was constant all night even with the windows shut! |The menu in the restaurant was limited to just a few starters, mains and puds with a lot of fish on the menu. Wine could only be bought by the glass. |Breakfast was ok but not outstanding and the juice and coffee were both from a machine. |The pool was lovely to look at but situated between the restaurant and bar on the 8th floor with no space to dry off. I can’t imagine many people would use it because of its situation. |Thankfully I was only there one night due to my flight getting in late and it was just a 7 min drive from the airport but I would have been disappointed if this had been booked for my holiday. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely English speaking reception girls. Very helpful. Great looking pool but freezing! Restaurant is really pretty. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and varied with lots if choice hot and cold. Dinner menu not really to our liking. A bit too haute cuisine. Overall it was a great couple of days.

The room was in general ok and clean. restaurant was good. staff where very friendly. However with major drilling the whole day the noise from the hammerdrill was unbearable. with that kind of noise its probably better to not accept clients.

We stayed here one night ahead of our cruise out of Martinique. The area is not accessible for walking anywhere or sight seeing. It's close to a highway so you would need a taxi to get anywhere. Had a cool rooftop pool and hot tub and nice view overlooking the city. We did not eat on site but there was a restaurant, bar and spa. We walked to a nearby bakery for breakfast. Only one of the few eating options nearby. Room was spacious and clean. Most of the area is French speaking only but the reception staff spoke some English.

Front desk staff is wonderful - helpful and friendly! The bar staff on the 8th floor is an exceptional! Best cocktails ever!! However, I smelled smoke in my non smoking room, so my in room stay was not very pleasant. Restaurant food was just ok, but bar snacks were delicious.

The hotel is very nice, with a commanding view of the city and the harbor. It was easy to reach from the airport. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and also a breakfast buffet in the restaurant. The staff members were all friendly and helpful.
