The research center has a small museum that is open to the public. The exhibits are well done and offer insights into the biology, conservation, and social interactions of mountain gorillas. Artifacts from Dian Fossey's life and research are also on display. It is worth your time to stop, and all donations go toward conservation efforts.

Small yet insightful "museum" space... really gives you a background on the primates you might be in search of if you're heading to Volcanoes national park - good coffee house next door as well (Crema)
