"In 2014, Szczecin, a pleasant seaport town in western Pomerania, received a very welcome addition: the new Philharmonic Hall. Now the unofficial symbol of the city, the magnificent building appears to be built of light. Barcelona -based design firm Barozzi Veiga constructed the building on the exact site of the 19th-century Konzerthaus (which was destroyed by Allied forces during World War II), helping to resurrect Szczecin’s musical spirit. Bright and daring, the award-winning structure is still rooted in a neo-Gothic context, with beautiful interiors and flawless acoustics. In addition to the Szczecin Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic hosts a variety of top orchestras, ensembles, and bands throughout the year, as well as numerous festivals, competitions, workshops, and educational programs for children. When visiting Szczecin, the building is an absolute must-see—in fact, people have been known to travel specifically for the purpose of visiting the Philharmonic. Time your trip to a concert, or simply take one of the regular tours of the building."

Interesting architecture of this concert hall. It was unfortunately closed for cleaning and renovation this month of July 2025, allowing the artists a well deserved vacation, so I could not enjoy the interior.

Modern building but the music one can hear here appeals IMHO to rater older generation of citizens. Its high time they thought of adding more teenage oriented music in their repertoire. PS. Just came back from Dee Dee Bridgewater's concert organised as part of Szczecin Jazz Festival. FANTASTIC !!!

Astonishing building, minimalistic design white spacious interior and the scene all covered in copper, we attended the BacHaton and it was spectacular especially when all the lights were reflected by the copper. The cafe inside it's indead a great spot to have a chat and enjoy a coffee.

I didn't see any performances here, but I did a tour. The tour allowed you to see several areas of the building. You don't have to listen to the guide or stay very close to them. I couldn't understand the tour guide, because I don't speak Polish, but my friend translated for me. You can walk around and see other things. They have art on the top level of the atrium. The art varies across many subjects and styles. I found one piece of art that was based on my flying/job, so it was cool seeing something that related.

Amazing building. The tour is worth it for €2 per person, offered in German, polish and English.

Beautiful building! But a bit boring, outside everything white an inside golden color!
