An absolutely charming property with the most stunning views and amazing service. Our villa was just perfect, the private pool was deep and big enough to enjoy leisurely times, and the room was beautiful with all the amenities you could want and more. The entire property is built beautifully, and it was fun to walk around in the maze like cobbled routes (they were almost streets) that almost felt like playing temple run live. The beach and the gorgeous views from the property of the beach are the best features of the resort. The main pool overlooks the beach from the cliff, there's a gondola to take you down (could sometimes be shut for regular maintenance) and if you're adventurous or craving an extra workout you can take the stairs down too. The staff is really sweet and attentive which is a big plus! Perfect place to chill if you're looking to be away from the hustle bustle of city/crowds. The towns aren't very far either and you can just book a Grab or rent a scooter. Overall a lovely and relaxing stay!

The resort is amazing and its position on the cliff has breath taking views across a great beach. The staff are fantastic and could not help more, the only thing they need to fix is the sun bed situation! Many hotel guests can not get a sun bed on the beach as they are being re sold to day visitors, this is unacceptable when the resort is 5 star and charges 5 star prices! There are beach clubs next door that guests should not have to pay extra to get a bed at!

We only booked the Karma spa - so can speak to our experience here. This was, by far, the most luxurious and incredible spa experience we have ever had. The treatment rooms are private hugs, perched on the side of a cliff. With views like you can only dream. The post treatment shower was immediately beside the hut, making you feel like you were floating in the sky. We booked treatments including the use of the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. Our group of four sipped sparkling wine, taking in the incredible view and the privacy of our own company. The service was second to none - with the staff bringing my mum a birthday brownie and singing to her before leaving us in peace. We were able to use the hotel beach after our treatments, complimentary. White sand, clean ocean and great service yet again. The treatments themselves were bliss. The spa was proud of the long standing service of its staff and the staff all expressed a love of being there. We booked a few months in advance and planned this as part of a day trip from Seminyak (stayed til after lunch). I cannot recommend this any higher.

Just back from a week at Karma Kandara. As with our past visits to the resort the highlight was definately the staff, in particular the restaurant, room service and buggy staff who were all a pleasure to interact with! We stayed in a two bedroom garden villa which was well appointed and within easy walking or buggy distance of everything. A word of caution though if you want to enjoy the beach facilities as we do you want to make sure that the hill tram is operating. It was closed for maintenance for the first half of our week, and unless you are very fit or a mountain goat (as we know from past experience) that it is not a lot of fun to access the beach without the hill tram. We were advised the week before that it would not be operating and it was only after several testy emails that the resort reached an agreement with the adjacent resort for Karma guests to utilise their hill tram. In fairness this arrangement worked really well, and hopefully this arrangement can apply in the future if and when the hill tram is not operating.

This is my 3rd times stay at Karma Kandara Bali. The amazing view from top cliff restaurant and also the gregorious ocean view with long white beach while going down with gondola to the beach are the unforgotten moment that I want to enjoy again at the next and the next stay. |The staffs and the buggy drivers always very pleasant and helpfull. |My children enjoy well the villa with the private pool. The apartment room also very nice and clean.

||Got upgraded to 3-bedroom (booked for 2-bedroom) and it’s super spacious. Has a huge living room with open kitchen and full appliances. The beach is very clean and playful for snorkeling , found many interesting tropical fishes and sea animals. The hotel is mainly run for the members of Karma, so be prepared to be hunted if you are new.

If you're dreaming of a luxurious escape in Bali that blends natural beauty with world-class service and unforgettable experiences, look no further. This resort is an absolute gem perched atop dramatic cliffs, offering sweeping views of the Ocean that take your breath away. From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in elegance and warmth, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create the perfect stay. One of the highlights is the private beach, accessible via a unique cliffside tram—a truly magical ride that opens up to pristine sands and turquoise waters. The stunning infinity pool seems to spill into the ocean, and it's the perfect spot to unwind under the Balinese sun. Dining here is a delight for the senses, with a clifftop restaurant that not only serves exquisite cuisine but also offers panoramic ocean views you’ll never forget. Whether you're enjoying a romantic dinner or a laid-back family lunch, every bite feels like a celebration. What sets this resort apart is the remarkable service. The staff go above and beyond, making you feel genuinely cared for throughout your stay. The amenities are equally impressive, from luxurious spa treatments to yoga sessions and beachside lounging. For families, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained—from a kids’ club to exciting activities that make it fun for all ages. Every moment here is infused with the essence of luxury. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with family, it’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression. Waking up to the sound of waves, soaking in the sunset views, and experiencing impeccable hospitality—it’s not just a vacation, it’s a memory in the making. Highly recommend staying here. It’s worth every moment.

Editing this review for the second time to accurately reflect on my one week stay.||||The property is gorgeous, and has stunning cliffside views. The infrastructure is in place for an excellent resort.||||Unfortunately this is let down by three factors:||||1. Use of cheap amenities and products everywhere - nothing feels "luxury" at all. Far from it. Forget the more expensive items like fixtures and mattresses, even linens and bath products are really bottom of the barrel.||||2. Old facilities all around. The resort is fairly old and needs a refresh.||||3. Most importantly, the service. The GM and the EAM try hard, but the other members of the staff, while friendly, do not really get what is expected of a high end resort. And considering rooms here regularly go upwards of 1000 USD a night, I would expect far better. The staff makes it feel like they are doing you a favor when they call a buggy or perform any miscellaneous task. Is it because the staff to guest ratio is low? I don't know.||||Couple of incidents that really strike out - they started doing loud construction at around 11 pm in the night right outside our villa. If I were at a Six Senses or a Four Seasons, this would be blasphemous. Shockingly, the next morning, at around 6 am, someone started using very loud shears to cut some grass, jolting us awake. All this is just completely unacceptable.||||Three stars only for the beautiful views. This could have been truly special, but alas.||||Also, the breakfast offerings are horrendous.
