We had an unforgettable vacation at Karma Kandara, thanks to the amazing hospitality team. They are super aware and collaborative, and take care of so many things behind the scenes to make this enormous machine run smoothly, whilst making it appear effortless. Every team member we met impressed us with their outstanding professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine warmth and friendliness, especially Ina and Ayu at reception, Gek Mas and Armini at Di Mare restaurant, and buggy drivers Eric and Bagus. The accommodation is fully air-conditioned and equipped with everything you could ask for, including comfy robes, delicious coffee, a water cooler, and a French press. Breakfast buffet is beautiful and varied, and includes Western and Asian hot entrees, fresh fruit, salad, and eggs cooked to order. While it is quite secluded, you can use Grab cab to go places or ask the resort to arrange a tour or car, but you don't really need to leave the premises, as the resort has restaurants and bars on site including an excellent Indian restaurant, a great room service menu, wine cellar plus atrium, and a gorgeous open-air spa. I recommend timing a jacuzzi session to coincide with the sunset. And the private beach is absolutely unreal.
