We had a fantastic stay at Karma Kandara! The infinity pool with ocean views was stunning, and the friendly staff, room service, and buggy service made everything seamless. Plenty of activities kept us entertained, and the private beach was a highlight. That said, the rooms felt a bit dated, and has seen better days. Getting to tourist places like Ubud or Kuta took a while in Bali traffic. Also, the breakfast selection got repetitive after a few days. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxing getaway with breathtaking views—just be ready for some travel if you want to explore!

Had the opportunity to visit Karma Kandara a few days ago, and it was an incredible experience. The property is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful infinity pool and a fantastic restaurant offering a great ambiance. One of the highlights was the beach, which we reached via a charming little tram—such a unique and fun touch! Unfortunately, we were a bit short on time, or else we would have loved to soak in the serene atmosphere for longer. But one thing is for sure—during my next visit to Bali, Karma Kandara is where I’ll be staying!

We had the deal which seemed quite good. They said all we had to do was do a one hour tour of the facilities. ||They put us in a limo to go there the one hour tour turned into being 2.5 hours.|They then get you to sign up for at least $30,000 AUD to join their membership program. |They say it’s not a hard cell, but it really is. They’re pushing you the entire way to sign up to their program. I think their program may be great if you travel at least five times a year to get the benefit of it. |When you decline their offer to pay the $30,000 AUD, they put you back into a taxi, not a limo to take you back to Karma Kandara.|I have to say the breakfast was average at best and the same every single day. |I think the villas would be lovely, but you need to get a golf buggy from your room to breakfast or dinner every single time as it’s quite a distance away from breakfast. There is nothing around the area at all. They have a private beach which you need to get on a bus to go down to. The beach is lovely and they have food and music playing, which is great. That’s probably the best part of the entire resort.

Fabulous experience! Despite a last minute change of plans, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. There is beauty everywhere you look and so much to do on site as well as nearby attractions. Highly recommend booking in with Ardi for yoga and boxing training. He is very experienced, patient and creates a fun, encouraging vibe to train in- even for those like me who hasn't stepped foot in a gym for years.

Staying in this property was an experience beyond words. It is a beautiful, lavish, well maintained resort. It has direct view of the sea from some rooms and also easy access to the private beach. Rooms are very spacious. Villas have private swimming pool making the stay even more fascinating.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was welcoming and good with instructions. We loved everything from our turtle in our villa, till the monkey family that came to hide from the rain on our balcony at 6am and made a huge brawl and noise. We could walk all around the hotel without asking for a buggy, like other people claim. I give a 5* rating in hopes the hotel could look into improving some things in future: like coffee, it is terrible at the resort. Please, please improve the coffee. Also food in general- i wish it was better. The restaurant up the hill, next to the beach, definitely is outdated and needs to be improved. Food was really just average. The best thing was the quattro formaggi pizza on the beach! We loved the beach and returned there even after we checked out. Movie nights are a good addition to the beach and again - there could be improvement in popcorn - maybe a new popcorn machine? Shout out to the amazing staff in the restaurant, on the skylift, beach and reception! Overall a great experience and I definitely recommend this place!

This hotel has a lot to offer! The villas were spacious with a lovely layout with easy access to the beach. The food across all restaurants was good. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. I gave it 4 stars as some areas look a bit tired. For example, our villa kitchen, cupboards/closets as well as the outside decking area look a bit tired. Also, the main restaurant area needs some attention cosmetically.

Villa and cleaning excellent. Drivers of buggies are fabulous 👌. Spent the first three mornings arguing about whether our breakfast was complimentary or not. They stopped doing full breakfast buffet, and you just get slices of bread and butter with a plate of fruit! No proteins. Have to order from the menu for eggs. Very expensive. The pool looks big, actually tiny. They closed it for four days, and the restaurant preparing for a wedding. Didn't tell you until the day before. Will not be staying again. The ocean is too rocky to surf even though it shows paddling. Train to the beach not operating, so catch 2 buses and walk down/up 85 steps in slippery conditions.
