Loved our stay here. Good vibes all round. Rooftop bar with delicious food. Great price for backpackers! The pool and shared common areas were great. Would have stayed for longer if not for our travel plans. The staff were extremely lovely and helpful. Great hospitality. Affordable moped rental which was a bonus 🤩

Very decent food! Good slushy cocktails too happy hour 5-7pm, lovely sunset on the roof top. Nice to have a pool as it’s so hot here. Cute cat at reception. Dorms were decent but I was so hot at night! My fan was very loud too which wasn’t ideal having it right next to my head when trying to sleep. The soap smelt nasty in our bathroom too. The stairs to get into the top bunk are lethal there’s nothing to hold onto an it’s high up!! But apart from that the staff are very friendly and welcoming. There was actually a lot of different things to do in Kampot, they have a recommendation board for tours, food an drink. Ps. The tuk tuk driver was SO nice an great at English- get him to take you to the Plantation where they grow the peppercorns…very interesting!

I grew fond of this place as while staying there I had a motorbike accident and had to extend my stay for two weeks. It's not easy to deal with these things while abroad, but they went above and beyond to help me and make my stay more comfortable. They treated me like family. I'm really grateful to the whole staff, from the reception to the kitchen, for their help, their delicious meals, the special service while I was sick, and overall for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In terms of facilities the place has everything you need. The private rooms are very comfortable, there is a nice pool and lots of green around. I hope to be back one day 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Karma Traders - it is by far and away our favourite place we have stayed whilst travelling throughout SE Asia over the past 3 months. The hostel has gone to SO much effort to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The welcome when you arrive was so genuine, it's clear the staff here are well looked after and enjoy working there. The foyer is full of awesome information about the local area, places to eat and drink (they are not just trying to suggest you eat and drink there). We stayed in a private room which was huge. The beds are a little hard, but that's par for the course in SE Asia we have found. There is a lovely pool area always playing nice tunes. The best part of the hostel though is the rooftop area. They also pay amazing tunes up there and serve really delicious food and drinks. Prices are incredibly reasonable and there is loads of local and Western options. They also have a taco night on Tuesday which we really enjoyed - they had an Australian band playing that evening, some very interesting tribal Aboriginal sounds. Super! We could easily have stayed longer at this hotel. We met some nice guys also staying there, and we got to know some staff members and the owner well in three days. Do yourself a favour and book here. It's a fab place, and Kampot in general is also fantastic.

Amazing hostel with the best rooms, Vibes, food and amazing host. I forgot my passport there and thanks to Sery leap who helped send it back to the next hostel and made sure it arrives to me as soon as possible. Totally recommend it

Beds are nice and spacious, and give a sense of privacy, even though I had a 6-bed dorm room. The atmosphere is cozy, social and very open. Great for solo travellers. They have events like caraoke night, or other social events with a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and informative, and give great advice about things to do.

I was only meant to stay a night or two at Karmer Traders Hostel but ended up spending a whole week — that should tell you something! The staff were absolute legends. Super friendly, always happy to help, and genuinely great to hang out with. They really made the place feel like home. The dorm rooms were easily some of the best I’ve stayed in — comfy beds, super clean, and just a good vibe all round. The facilities were spot on too. Everything worked, everything was clean, and it was just super comfortable. They put on some awesome events during the week — trivia night, live music, open mic — heaps of fun and a great way to meet people. But it’s also the kind of place where, if you just want to chill out and do your own thing, that’s totally fine too. No pressure, just good energy. And the food? So good. Loads of tasty options, and I reckon just about anyone would find something they’re into. All up, Karmer Traders had exactly the right mix — relaxed when you want it, social when you’re up for it. Would 100% stay again!

Lovely accom!! The staff are lovely and the food is incredible. The rooms are really nice- whether you get the pods or not- there are benefits of both. One of my favourite hostels so far and would like to go back if I ever come back to Cambodia
