Karmel Mall

Located near Midtown, this mall is a hidden gem selling African clothing, food, skincare products, and more. The jewelry section, especially the gold accessories and necklaces, is a big hit with the older ladies, drawing long lines of eager shoppers!

I had high hopes for this store, but my experience has been incredibly disappointing. I purchased an item that turned out to be the wrong size and color, and when I approached the staff about a potential exchange, I was met with a strict no return policy. It’s frustrating to invest in a product that doesn't work for me and have no options available and they didn’t give me receipt for my purchase, they only accept cash. If any government agency available this place needs to be checked out. I won’t be shopping here again.

This place is horrible it's really bad sign of our twin cities it's shameful that city of Minneapolis had such mall like this It's dirty dirty the restroom are another level no paper rolls at all I have visted 4 different days and there's no paper in the restroom and the doors are not going to close. You have to use without hiding your privacy I Don't know how the people pay rent in this building

Went with my sister and Karmel has changed so much. It's been 8 years since I've been and they've upgraded, expanded and made lots of positive changes. We ate, checked out clothes and got our henna done. Did a bit of shopping and it was a lovely experience all around. Check them out!

If you enjoy international travel, especially Middle Eastern cultural adventures, you should definitely stop here. It’s not a traditional American mall, and the layout is somewhat confusing, but if you’ve done much traveling, it shouldn’t faze you. If you do get lost in there, someone will gladly give you directions! It feels so much like another country, which I suppose is why I loved it. Try some food. Employees are very friendly and helpful, typical Middle Eastern hospitality!

Best place to get traditional muslim clothes. Wide thobe/robe/juba selections. Very friendly brothers and sisters. May Allah bless and protect them!

This place has amazing culture appearance like food and clothes. But this place especially the bathrooms are disgusting. The bathrooms aren’t cleaned well and the mall is a mess!

Good place to get a nice deal on dresses and other modest clothing. Be prepared to bargain a bit for the best prices. Food court upstairs has some amazing halal options as well for a solid lunch or dinner
