Rosie was wonderful to us! Initially, my drink tasted a little off and she made a new one with no hesitation. It was the best matcha I have ever tasted. Thank you for the amazing service.

Went here to start off our anniversary day. It was our first time here and we got the French toast latte (hot) and the coconut cream matcha latte (cold). The food and the drinks were great and the customer service was exceptional! Rocio and Macarena really provided a memorable experience! Can't wait to come back

1st time here! Had a pleasant experience at Karmic Grounds. I got the French Toast Latte (hot) made by Rocio and the breakfast flatbread made by Macarena. I never really expect much when getting food from a coffee shop but the breakfast flatbread was delicious! They even have hot sauce if you want to eat the flatbread with that. They have plenty of drinks, syrups, and milk substitute options which I always appreciate. Service was great and I loved the ambience. I went on a Sunday afternoon and they had plenty of seats.

Waited over 15 minutes to receive 2 lattes. Not busy at all. Just slow service and the 2 ladies talking behind the counter. Ended up not getting the lattes we asked for. One was not decaf (which I need for heart issues) and the other was way too milky. Asked to remake the decaf and that took another 5ish minutes, which then it came out way too milky. I didn’t even bother asking them to remake it because we didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes. Those staff members need training. Really disappointed that I wasted over $15.

Ordered nutty mocha and hazelnut mocha and both tasted the same also Ordered a cappuccino.. all coffees were cold. Definitely wouldn’t go there for coffee again Ordered flatbreads Pesto chicken 3/5 odered twice and it was salty the second time. It was pretty good. Firenza margherita -4/5 which was good Quesadillas-1/5 tasted really bad Please serve the coffeees hot.

This is such a cute shop! I had the pleasure of having their limited strawberry chai and their regular menu blended Imperial matcha and both were absolutely devastatingly delicious. The vibes were great and the staff were so accommodating and kind! Would return to again and again.

$6.50 rubbery croissant and I've had better quality at Kroger bakery. Flies everywhere outside and just shows an overall lack of care and attention to detail. Will never come here again. So many better options elsewhere. Feels like this place is dying a slow death...

First time visit! The staff is super friendly and helpful! The environment inside is nice and cozy. The outside patio is wonderful. It can be noisy if there are many cars on the road lol. The bagel sandwich is yummy! The two coffee we got is a Vanilla sugar free latte and a Cherry Blossom Milk Latte, one of their seasonal drinks. Both of the coffee are good and yummy! Definitely come back and highly recommend 😊👍

Great service. The ambiance was perfect for relaxing and having a great coffee. Perfect place to stop and enjoy your company or just to visit the Frisco area. Will be stopping again on our next trip.

I feel like ownership has changed. I'd visited prior to today multiple times and the employees never seemed to have any urgency, but would talk and stand around. This visit two wonderful women were behind the counter. While they chatted a few minutes before noticing I was waiting to order, they were attentive and present while I ordered, asked questions and even gave me the recommendation of "almond croissant over chocolate", and "you have to get it warmed, it is so good!". So I did. My almond milk latte was okay, nothing special and while the almond croissant was good too, it was nothing special. To be honest the only reason I trekked to this out of the way spot was because I had a gift card I wanted out of my wallet. The parking situation is absurd and the way the traffic goes, getting in and out of the parking lot can take a while. I'm glad this visit was a good one and it will leave a fond memory in my mind when I think of Karmic Grounds. I don't plan on making this a destination or plan to visit again, but if I was in the area and craving coffee, I wouldn't run the other way.

Disclaimer: this was first posted on google maps around 2 years ago! I just made a yelp account! My apologies if there has been changes since then! Karmic was a pretty good place to get work done, for both students and workers. Plenty of great seating, both inside and outside. The baristas were really nice and seemed super conversational with their customers. I got one of their seasonal coffee drinks (something to do with Girl Scouts cookies) and was decent (I forgot that I despise coconut, but it would be nice for those of you who like it). Also got the GOAT (just an avo toast so it's pretty basic). But everything else on their drinks and food menu sounds appealing. Oh! And they're dog friendly! Bring your pups!

Their phon number doesn't work its a far drive and we had questions before we made the commitment. :(

This study cafe spot was solid. The caramel Machiatto was fairly decent, just make sure to clarify hot or cold because I forgot to and got it hot. The matcha was really good and definitely recommend it. I think its a good study spot except for the fact that there is not many outlets. Besides that, the cafe is really well decorated and has a good modern feel to it. The staff were super chill and nice as well. Solid spot. However, the other downside is the parking availability.

Dropped in after lunch for a pick me up in the form of a double espresso. The standard pull is an Onyx Ethiopian, and my shot was great, nice temperature, good crema, and a rich flavor that, while not a killer shot, had no bitter or sour notes. The place was experiencing a slow time, so the baristas were tidying up. The space is nicely appointed, the service areas were impeccably clean and well organized. A number of customers were enjoying drinks with their laptops. Overall, a nice place to go for coffee!

A lot of specialty latte and chai choices that all sounded good! Very large nice seating area and a bunch of food options for breakfast and lunch as well :)

Karmic Grounds has a really cute aesthetic and plenty of parking, which is always a plus. They offer a nice variety of specialty drinks on the menu. I tried one of the matcha options--it was decent. I was only in town briefly, but if I'm ever back in Frisco, I'd definitely stop by again. There were at least four other drinks that caught my eye, but I didn't get a chance to try them since I was heading out the next day. The service was OK it wasn't exceptional or anything to talk about.

I tried this location out several times while in town for work. First time service was slow but had a good cup of matcha, the 2nd time I saw a big no no. The barista put a plastic cup underneath the espresso which can cause the plastic particles to melt into the cup. Not sure if it was a lazy thing or if they didn't know what they were doing. I'd try out a different spot if you were in the area. Rated 3 because I like how big the space is, lots of seating, and dog friendly.

Friendly employees, nice location, good coffee and plenty of space! Work, study or hang out.

DRINK - Matcha Latte The matcha latte was pretty good compared to other places. Not too sweet and not too much ice added either. Tasty! VIBES - There's plenty of seating for studying and working from higher tables to lower tables, to even pods. They have an area near the corner of the coffee shop where it's sound proof and great for meetings. Most of the people there are enjoying coffee while doing work. Very modern and nice vibes with plenty of window lighting. Outside seating is also available. SERVICE Service is great! The staff is so sweet and give great recommendations/insight into the drinks. Drinks also came out super fast.

It's a cute, clean, and vibey coffee spot that feels like a place where a bunch of yogis would hang out. The drinks were not bad, though I opted for a chai this time. The service is quite nice and casual.

Quiet, clean, with tasty sips and light bites. It was difficult to hear when my order was ready, and once I got up to the counter, there were several plates sitting there and no one to direct to the appropriate order. The menu is largely limited sandwich and bread based items.

I've been pushing of a review for this cafe but I finally have a reason to write one. I have been a loyal customer for years, since it first opened. The coffee was DELICIOUS, they would make their mochas with chocolate shavings instead of mocha sauce, and words are not enough to describe how cozy the flavor in the coffee was. In general, I think the quality just used to be amazing back then. I believe in the last 2ish years, the quality has gradually dropped, it's not terrible coffee these days but nothing crazy and worth the cost (especially for the classic drinks). As I am lactose intolerant, I always go for milk alternatives, and this location's karmic has the worst oat milk ever, like any drink I've had with oat milk has been really bad unfortunately. It's really disappointing because the cafe itself is gorgeous, spacious, with tasty pastries and meals, but their coffee is such a let down. My last drink with Karmic as of last was an iced matcha latte with a shot of espresso and mocha sauce, and (tmi) I had terrible stomach pain and GI upset from their drink. Ambiance and service are great, but if you're going for coffee, I'd think twice.

Cute little coffee place. Lots of seating. There's a dog friendly patio. Parking was tough as it's in an apartment complex bottom floor. Girl taking our order was cheerful. The barista acted like age didn't want to be there.

EDIT: The owners response is tone deaf to the customer service aspect of what happened. I understand how it's made but I had weekly meetings at this location and loved the cold brews and never THIS BAD. Will encourage others to not support this business and to try another coffee shop. Can we please get better baristas at this location. There was only a little bit of cold brew left and I watched them fill up my cold brew with water. I asked for a remake and received so much sass and the drink was still ass. Went and tried again another time and the coffee was sour and burnt. Same baristas and same attitude towards everyone. It's a young thin girl dark hair and the other is a yellow blonde hair thats short both super oily hair. Use to love to bring my team here for our weekly coffee but we all agreed no more with the downhill service and the untrained baristas.

I like the coffee I ordered and it's a cute little shop. They have some seasonal specials and pastry.

Great place for some studying! One of the staff helped me make my selection, I am glad I went with her recommendation on the berry croissant, chef's kiss. I got a hot chocolate, felt like it's your standard hot chocolate. Lots of seating, 3 large tables for meetings, seating inside and out, and charging outlets throughout. Will have to come here for their coffee and try another croissant!!!

Giving this place 5 stars just because the matcha latte was that good. This cafe is located in/next to an apartment building. Ambiance is nice and they have some pastries they offer - which include a couple of vegan options as well. I sadly dropped half of my pastry, but the other half was delicious. Service was okay - we had to ask for our pastries because I think they forgot we ordered them, but other than that, everything was good

What a cute coffee shop right in the mix of things in Frisco. It sits attached to an apartment complex so you will find parking marked for Karmic customers only during the day. I was surprised by how big the cafe is... from the outside it doesn't look like it but once you walk in there is plenty of seating and even their outdoor patio seating is spacious. I ordered a hazelnut latte and it was good. I enjoyed it! Their pricing is moderate. The staff who took my ordered was nice!

Finally got to come here in person after ordering delivery for so long! It's a really nice location and they make great coffee, but what really surprised me was the food! I ordered a breakfast flatbread for me and my girlfriend and it was waaaaayyy better than it needed to be. Can't wait to come back :)

I love this coffee shop! I would give it a more a 4.5/5. The interior of karmic grounds is so beyaituflIn contrast to the pictures posted online, during the day time it has such good light coming in from the back of the shop. It's really beautiful! I believe it's conjoined to an apartment complex which is amazing for those residents. In terms of coffee I got a banana foster latte and it was alright but not my favorite. I wanted to try something new so I didn't mind. I got a bacon bagel sandwich and unfortunately I didn't like it as the pesto wasn't my fave. It gets busy so be prepared to wait - I guess people from all around know this place. Also even on weekdays it gets busy. People like to work here. There are outlets but not many. Wi-Fi works great. I would definitely recommend this spot! Staff are friendly too!

Absolutely filthy! I left my phone out in the car otherwise I would've taken pictures. The floors were filthy. The tables were filthy. And the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. No way they had been cleaned in weeks. I cannot understand how this shop is open. If this coffee shop is related to the summit at Stonebriar apartments, because it's a part of the building, I would question what it's like to live there. Very gross.

They used to be a good coffee shop when they were using Onyx coffee. Now their coffee is horrible. It has just burnt bitter taste.

I used to come here all the time when it first opened because it was close to home, I liked the staff, and the coffee and pastries. Now I despise it. Particularly the location in Plano off Ohio. Today I visited in what was likely almost a year because I just wanted to be out of the house on a patio since it wasn't too hot today and I thought I'd give it another try. Ordered a chocolate chip cookie. They were out. Only had oatmeal raisin left. Fine. I even made a joke to the girl helping me that it was sad raisins looked too much like chocolate chips because it's deceptive to which we both laughed. Instead of the cookie, since it was lunch time, I decided to order a Margherita flatbread because I was hungry. Girl at the counter told me she'd bring it out to me after I told her I was going to be sitting outside. I said I could come in and get it but she insisted she would bring it out. I asked her how long it should take, she said 5 min. I waited about 10 before I went in to see where it was. The girl who took my order looked over into the kitchen like she had no clue where it was, like she thought it was still heating up. I then saw a box to the left of the register on the counter. Asked her "is THIS it??" and she looks over and smiles "oh yeah! That's it". Apparently she was too busy chatting it with the boy sitting at the counter to bring it out like she promised. It sat on the counter looking pitiful in a cardboard box. Took my box outside to the dirty couches (I put my jacket down to sit on it), opened it, and you can see by the pic what I got. Room temp (but closer to cold), Easy Bake Oven flatbread made with cheap pasta sauce, Walmart flatbread, and dried basil sprinkles. I spent $10 for THIS??! Fool me once, well...shame on you and you won't get me again. This was a sorry excuse for service AND food. I'm even thinking of throwing out the coffee mug I bought from them years ago I'm that mad at today. Just another reminder why I don't come here that often anymore. It's really gone down hill every year since it opened. Except the coffee (when it's not too acidic) which that, and the overall interior aesthetic, is the ONLY reason I gave them two stars. So maybe they should JUST stick to that and the teas. Do better, Karmic Plano!

A very cute cozy coffee shop. It's under the apartments on the corner. Great service, very cozy vibes and everything was amazing. The buffalo chicken flat bread was sooooooo good! A perfect balance of flavor and not too spicy. The grinch matcha was literally amazing. I love that their matcha doesn't taste like grass. The barista suggested which milk to add so I went with that. I came here to work with a friend, very quiet, and spacious. I would deff return.

Matcha latte is yummy. Also the iced oat milk latte. New additions are chocolate cake, mocha cake, and cheesecake. Friendly helpful barista. Good comfy place to hang out.

This place used to be great a year ago, but something has changed. I ordered an iced pistachio matcha, and it was clumpy, so I exchanged it for an iced mocha. When I sat outside, the wind blowers were on, and there was a strong gas smell, which ruined the experience. I ended up throwing my drink away. The service was okay, but I won't be coming back.

Karmic Grounds is wonderful! The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The interior is super cute and the pod for working is really cool. I might have to use it one day. Yesterday, I tried the seasonal black forest cake latte. It was so delicious! It was definitely on the sweeter side, but I could clearly taste the chocolate and cherry flavors. My boyfriend tried the bananas foster latte and it was equally as delicious from the sip I tried. I plan on returning to try more drinks!

I love the ambiance of Karmic Grounds! It has such a calming vibe and the decor really hits the spot. Their menu has so many interesting options as well. I was hoping to try their seasonal blue butterfly matcha latte but they were unfortunately out of one of the ingredients for it. Settled on a simple iced matcha latte with their onyx delight flavouring. The actual latte wasn't that rich, and I actually prefer my Starbucks matcha latte instead. I ended up paying around 8 dollars for a drink that I didn't really enjoy. That being said, the barista was so nice and I'm definitely going to swing by to try one of their more interesting drinks.

This coffee was terrible. Took the first one back and the second was just as bad. They it's because it's "premium" mixes they add. Really gross . . . Just make coffee.

I have been to karmic grounds a few times already and they have great selections of drinks and food. Their matcha and coffee is good and I tried the garlic pesto flatbread which is very tasty as well. It's a cute cafe stop if you want to catch up with friends, work or just hang out. Outside area is dog friendly as well.

We came in when it was completely dead so I truly cannot speak to the ambience of this place because from what i've heard, it's usually busy. We walked in and weren't greeted but there was two workers there at the time. They didn't have any music playing so it was honestly kind of awkward for a first timer... We chose one of there special drinks they suggested and I had a latte. Both coffees were very mediocre. I don't think I would return here. They also have outside seating as well for those who like patio settings.

I always drive by here but didn't think to try it until 2 separate people mentioned this place to me. I can't believe i didnt come here sooner bc the vibes were A1 here. I am the type to drink sugar with like 2 drops of coffee and I think I discovered my favorite late ever! I will definitely be coming back here

Stopped by while in the area for a wedding and I got the Chai Tea latte, super good! The staff was extremely friendly and decent sized seating inside as well as outside. The coffee shop is attached to an apartment complex so parking may be limited but considering it's a coffee shop, people usually don't stay too long. Outdoor patio is also pet friendly, saw a dog bowl. My husband got the specialty coffee with pistachio (super good!) and a breakfast bagel sandwich with pesto. Pesto bagel was a first for the both of us but very good pairing.

Pistachio croissant and dirty cortado were amazing! Fast internet, tons of space, and neat drink selections. Feels like a bit of a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

Have been to this charming spot many many times. Love the atmosphere and staff are friendly. The counter with the sugars and such is always dirty even first thing in the morning. And if you can't hear my ordering, maybe you should take that as a clue that the music is too loud. Trash left outside of their gated patio left from their customers doesn't seem to be a concern of the staff. Other than that the place is a kool hang out.

A great study spot. Lots of seating and outlets. I got a hot matcha latte and it was really yummy, though there was some unblended powder chunks on the bottom. Parking is kind of difficult to get, as it is limited and parallel parking only. Not great for someone like me who doesn't know how to parallel park :P

Stopped into Karmic Grounds yesterday to get some work done. The interior of the coffee shop is very modern and there is a phone booth in the corner if you have to take a call. I ordered an iced caramel latte which was served in a cool glass and was perfect on a hot summer day.

Coffee was great. Patio was a great size. There was trash on the tables when we got there. When we ordered inside we weren't told if the drinks were ready so we had to go inside to keep checking. I went with two people and they asked if the PA system wasn't working outside they said no and still didn't let us know when the drinks are ready. When I went inside to throw my trash away the employee asked me if there was more trash outside I said yes he asked what is it I said I don't know it was there when we got there... don't know if they just didn't want to go outside?

Nice, cozy spot to grab a coffee/tea and get some work done. Plenty of seating. All the staff was friendly and efficient. Bathrooms were a little dirty, but, in my opinion it was more the customers fault for being sloppy and rude. Please clean up after yourselves! Ha

Came back after a year and decided to give this place another try because maybe I caught them on a bad day -- but, nope! Still the worst chai latte in town.

Great ambiance and tasty drinks. Servers are friendly as well. A nice place to meet a friend and chat. They have a nice patio as well.

Love the interior design! Located on the lower level of an apartment complex. There is plenty of parking on the right side of the entrance (by empty lot). There is a quaint green space with trees and benches. As you approach the coffee shop, don't get it confused like we did and end up inside the leasing office lol, it's on the outside by the patio. The lattes are dreamy, creamy, delightful delicious! Will definitely be back to try their pastries. Plenty of outdoor seating and inside seating too. Staff wore gloves and mask and they are enforcing a mask. I love that they also provide hand sanitizer.

Place has a great atmosphere. They keep the air conditioning very cool. All the coffee is made extremely well and everyone is very friendly. Willow is great and makes the Macha by hand.
