The restaurant was busy when we arrived and we waited for 15 mins to get in. The service inside was very fast. Horchata was good, a bit too sweet for us. The karne soup must be authentic as a lot of local people were enjoying it in the restaurant but it was just not to our taste.

It was good but didn't have that WOW factor. Service was quick, as advertised, but not at World Record timing...still quick though. Overall it was good.

Great carne in su jugo, got the large and that was more than enough for me with the free tortillas and chips with beans they provide on the side. Pretty popular place so I had to wait a while to get seated

The service was obviously not close to their Guinness world record, but it was still pretty fast. We got sat and almost right away someone was there to take our order. My wife and I each ordered some quesadillas and carne en su jugo. They dtsrtnyou off with some beans and chips. Well let me just say that those beans were so good that they were gone almost immediately . They brought us seconds. The carne en su jugo was super flavorful. The only thing that wasn't that great was the quesadillas de chorizo. It was good just nothing special really. Next time I'll just stick to their carne en su jugo.

Very overrated, I don’t recommend it, it was very slow it took us 7 min to get our food, and we asked for more tortillas and chips and we had to wait another 6 min. :(, also the food was okay nothing special about it. And lastly we waited more than 15 min just to get the check and pay. 🫠 My friends that live in Guadalajara recommend to go next door to Kamilos 333 instead.

Karne Garibaldi is my favorite place to eat carne en su jugo. I have eaten this dish in a few restaurants in Guadalajara, but this is my personal preference. Moreover, this is where I bring friends who are new to Guadalajara and have not eaten this dish. I like that they bring out the compliments to the carne quickly. It gives you the opportunity to graze, relax, and snack if you are very hungry. IMHO, their flavors are on the mark. Tomatoes and onions are included in the guacamole. Additional, lime, cilantro, and onion are served separately. The corn in their bean dish is soft, as well as the bacon garnishing the carne en su jugo.

This is a casual and traditional eatery. They live up to the hype on flavour and the ultra quick service. The food was delicious and very affordable. This is ideal to have meal with a big group.

Not sure if this place needs another review. 4 of my relatives went to university here at Guadalajara, they agreed this is the most local flavor for me to try. This place holds the Guinness book of world record for fastest service. My wife decided to set a timer because she is a skeptic. The appetizers came fast and furious. The main dish came under 2 minutes. Wow. The appetizers were all good, but the melted cheese was so good. Everyone ordered their signature Karne en su Jugo. It's seasoned pork in a soupy broth, topped with bacon, it has a nice citrus kick, definitely a unique flavor. I happened to love it.

Yes the service was fast- we timed it to be 3 minutes. Not bad. Servers were attentive. We got greeted, and seated and they were ready to take our drink orders. They seem to have a short menu and known for the carne en su jugo. - translated to meat in its juices. A fun dish to try here. Also recommend the quesadillas.

Record Guinness in fast service after you order, and full of tradition, the carne en su jugo is their specialty, it has a good flavor but nothing special, definitely a place to go for the experience. The place is a good option and family friendly.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! I've had this dish elsewhere and it's good. But this place took it up a notch! No need to really add anything on it. Broth and meat are packed so much rich flavor that I regretted getting the medium plate. If you're in a rush, this is the place for you too as well.. the service is very speedy. By the time you decide to order another item, the plate is already on your table. I recommend the LARGE plate you won't regret it and would leave the plate clean on how good it is.

Food already in trays ready to be given out so makes sense how quick it is. Attentive staff at first when they need to hit the mark of quickness lol. However took a while to get our drinks which is funny. Nothing special in my opinion if you are nearby sure try it but to go out the way would be no. The ambiance was typical but it was cool to see a homeless person build a fort to live in a tree across the street.

Omg this place is so bomb. I just landed and we had to come try this restaurant because we're obsessed with the carne en su jugo. Everything is good and warm. Not to say the tortillas echas a mano.

There are more locations now but the ambience here it feels different and more traditional. Service is very attentive and fast. Food is simple but tasty, and it does come to you very quickly. The courtesy beans, onions and chips are a nice touch! I come here every time that I'm visiting GDL.

This was an amazing breakfast. We arrived just after opening so it was pretty quiet and the waiter was super fast and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious and portioned perfectly. There are different sizes of the carne en su jugo, I suggest ordering more than you think you can eat because it's that food. The endless tortillas were also fantastic. The little candies that came with the check at the end were great too.

Ambiance: Very busy! The restaurant is spacious and seats a lot of people. In the back part of the restaurant is a play area for the kiddies. Service: Once you're seated and the waiter comes to your table, he has appetizers on hand and quesadillas you didn't order, but if consumed you will get charged for them unless you reject them from the start. Yes it's superfast because all they serve is Carne en Su Jugo. It made the Guiness Book of World Records. Once you tell the server the size plate you want, it's beat the clock time. Plates come in kid size, small, medium, large and extra large. The dish is quite tasty, however, I've learned to make it and I prefer my own recipe! Heehee. Their refried beans are so yummy and are mixed with corn kernels. So good. Their corn tortillas are handmade (of course they are, it's Mexico!). A few tips: Request your food to be hot, or extra hot, otherwise you'll be served a dish that's been sitting in the kitchen for a few minutes. Remember, it's about delivering FAST, not hot. When the server takes your oder, ask for ALL you're going to want because waving them down after you've been served won't be easy. Example: roasted onions, enough veggie toppings, extra limes, your beverages, extra beans w/chips (totopos), extra broth, extra tortillas...etc. etc. One last tip: CHECK YOUR BILL. People make mistakes. In the hustle and bustle they're bound to be made. Let your server know of the error BEFORE you pay. Oh, if you like their beans that much (as I do) they sell them in cans in the restaurant. I brought back a dzn. to the states. :)

While I'm GDL had to try carne en su jugo. Was the first time for this gringo to try it, so was ignorant to the quality of certain places. I know KB is popular so came here. Loved it!!! People tell me there are better places so I'll try them eventually but KB did not disappoint in the slightest. Of course fast service as advertised and everything was fresh at the same time. Very cool experience and tasty.

Holly Guacamole! Listed in the TasteAtlas Awards 23/24, as one of the 100 most iconic restaurants in the world, Karnes Garibaldi was worth our visit. The original restaurant, on Garibaldi street, is famous for its fast service. Before we sat down we were received with a "los estábamos esperando" salute--we were waiting for you, guys. We were offered immediately a dish of fried beans with corn, the house courtesy, and a choice of three different dishes: guacamole, melted cheese, and quesadillas. We ordered guacamole, a medium and a large dish of carne en su jugo--the house specialty--and soft drinks. My partner's dish came right away, but mine took a while to come. So long it took, that we asked for it again. The atmosphere was relaxed: a few couples and whole families. Not a foreigner in sight (this was a Saturday afternoon). The place was full and the carne en su jugo was delightful. When time came to leave, we ordered the check. We noticed they charged us the soft drinks but only one carne en su jugo. They had forgotten to charge for my dish. I called the waitress to inform her of the missing item. After more than ten minutes, she handed us back the new check and... again it was missing my dish! We called on a second waiter and, after more than 10 additional minutes, the third bill arrived and it had my dish in it! All in all waiting for the check took longer than getting our dishes. We were on our way home talking about how they managed to make money, charging us less for our food, when we realized that: they never charged us for the guacamole! We laughed and this time we didn't turn around and insisted on paying for our holly guacamole!

Heard this place serves you so quick you'll be mind blown, and, I was. We were a group of 5 and got our food within 2 minutes of ordering. Pretty crazy! Lol Server brought us 2 appetizers of beans with corn and tortilla chips and it was a good combination. We all got a medium carne en su jugo (which is what they are known for) and it was very tasty and FRESH! Hand made tortillas were a great addition to the food. Great place to recommend in Guadalajara.

Quick service, good carnes en su jugo. Beans with corn and Horchata were good too. I do wish they would have added the cebolla tatemada in the bowl for flavor. Had to wait around for waiter for some time to ask for it. By the time it finally came I was done with food.

It's the perfect place when you want good service and a decent price. Carne en su jugo is one of our favorites. Will definitely go back on our next visit

This spot is considered the fastest restaurant in the world and lemme tell you.... SUPER FAST AND GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE ! The second we sat down we had our appetizers, and the food came right away! Tasted amazing and I'm greatful for the experience here !

This is the Guinness world's fastest serving restaurant and they were not kidding! Upon being seated, some guy out of no where appears with appetizers and you're like, yo! I didn't order anything yet! It comes with the foods you're going to order they tell you. And of course I immediately start munching on the nachos they served. I ordered the Carne En Su Jugo Mediana which I assumed was the medium size that they served and that came out in a minute or less. Drinks came out immediately if you ordered them. Dessert took a little bit more time as you had to get the guy lugging all the dessert on his shoulder attention. I had to get a Spanish Flan which did not disappoint. Overall, if you're in a rush to get food, eat, and leave, then look no further! You have found the perfect restaurant!

Super fast food serving, home cooking style, if you visit guadalajara, this place is a must!

I'd give the full five-star rating, but the service was meh. I ordered guacamole for a starter; it never came. The entree was fantastic. True, traditional carne en su jugo like momma used to make (assuming momma was a bona-fide Mexican). The tortillas were hot and fresh, and the accompaniments were both delicious and highlighted the carne. (I've never had whole kernel corn in my refried beans before, but -- YUM!) Problem was getting the bill sorted out. I was charged for the missing guacamole and it took considerable time, and four people, and two different iPads to sort it out. (And it wasn't like this was during any dining rush; I think there were folks at three tables in the whole joint.) Delicious; I'll probably go back when in the GDL. Hopefully the next trip I can give 'em all five stars. Oh, and Free Parking right in front!

This is an institution in Guadalajara. Carne en su jugo meaning meat in its own juice. This is a staple dish in the state of Jalisco. This is the Mecca for Carne en su jugo! The dish itself is pretty simple but it's the freshness of the ingredients that make the difference. This place has it. The dish is made up of beef bacon and beans served in a broth. It is so good at this place it's one of only three dishes they serve. It it ain't broken don't fix it! We also ordered the queso fundido with chorizo which was delicious. A must for any cheese lover. It was served with home made tortillas which really was a plus. I would definitely recommend coming here to try this dish and the other good food they have.

It sure is the fastest restaurant in the world! We were a party of 7 and seated fast; less than 5 mins and the restaurant was a bit packed. The menu is limited so it's a plus in getting your food fast. The entree was a bean dip with corn and chile; it has a spicy kick but mouthwatering. We kept ordering more :D We also ordered the Queso Fundido con Chorizo but it was too good we finished it before taking a picture

Wow!! This place blew me away, absolutely the best carne en su jugo I have ever had and their tortillas were really fresh too. I had the queso fundido which was amazing. The horchata was fresh and quite delicious. This place is a must if you travel to Guadalajara! The after meal tamarind candy is really good.they bring out some yummy bean and corn dip, as well as guacamole with chips upon arrival. I am not sure if that is included in the meal or if we paid for it, either way it was much appreciated.

This was my favorite meal during my recent trip to Guadalajara. The carne en su jugo was fantastic (albeit after adding salsa, cilantro, and lime juice). Very filling, and a great value. My wife was also very happy with her sangria-horchata. Definitely recommend if you're in Guadalajara!

I ordered what I thought was orange juice, it ended up being steak soup (don't ask). The steak soup was amazing, esta muy bueno! I ordered a quesadilla and they brought out grilled onion, cilantro, diced veggies and other goodies that I could stuff my quesadilla with. They also brought out guacamole and delicious tortilla chips.

We order 3 orders and got charge for 5 i had already pay with a credit card and the lady said that she could not cancel the transaction. I tried to explain the error but is hard to explain to somebody looking at you with a blank stare and i don't care attitude Finally we got a refund for the overcharge and we did not even get an apology or sorry from the waiter.

Nice place were you're gonna be able to taste great typical Mexican meal with beef and porc. The decoration is nice with lots of Mexican arts on the wall. The food is delicious and affordable. If you want to eat like Mexican peoples this is the place ! I recomment this restaurant ! Beau restaurant où vous pourrez déguster de la nourriture typique du Mexique avec du boeuf et du porc. Carne en su jugo paradise! You can't come to GDL without visiting this local favorite. Everything comes out super fast (they have a Guinness World Record for it), incredibly tasty, and well-plated. From the broth, to the onions, to the guacamole, this great establishment does the famed dish service. As a broth gal, I was left completely impressed. The wait staff kept refilling my bowl with the savory goodness and kept bringing the limes and onions. So damn tasty! Hey Karne Garibaldi, how about opening up an outpost here in LA? Love this place!

It is a good place to try carne en su jugo, however it is not one of my favorite dishes in Mexico, I do recommend it.

Oh how I have missed this place it has been almost 4 years since my last visit. I have yet to find a way place that comes close to what is offered here. This is a icon in the heart of Guadalajara not to mention their Guinness world record for the fastest service. This has to be the busiest and fastest turn around restaurant I've ever seen. The menu is simple carne con jugo (beef with juice) multiple sizes available. You can get an order of chorizo or tocino (bacon). With 3 menu items you can't mess it up and you can bet they do it right. Upon arriving you are seated and instantly served frijolitos con elote ( refuted beans with corn) and fresh made tortillas with chips - comes with the meal. They will offer you quesadillas and guacamole for an additional charge. No matter your choice you cannot go wrong with anything this place is serving. I got the small one and that was plenty for me but a normal eater would get full on the medium just remember to leave room for the chips and beans.

This place was amazing! It's maybe a little more expensive than the surrounding neighborhood, but the amount of incredible sides and their famous carne en su jugo. They don't charge for the sides (salsa, frijoles con maíz, cebolla asada, tortillas, chips, chopped up onions and cilantro), and were generous with extras. The service was quick and kind. Lots of locals here as well! If you're visiting, would recommend going for dinner.

Fastest service I have ever experience. We were seated right away. Before we could even pull out our chair, the complementary beans and chips are already on the table. When we ordered our food the moment we said the size of our plate, the food was serve on our table. Food is excellent! It has so much flavor. The servers are very good. When we are ready to pay, they were right there no waiting. This place is highly recommended.
