We visited Karon Viewpoint on 1st October as part of a city sightseeing tour with our family (2 adults and 2 kids). It was one of the most scenic stops on our trip. From the top, you get a breathtaking panoramic view of Phuket’s famous beaches — Patong, Karon, and Kata — lined up beautifully along the coastline. On the opposite side, you can also spot the majestic Big Buddha sitting atop Nakkerd Hill, which makes the view even more impressive.
Historically known as *Three Beaches Hill* or *Kata Viewpoint*, this spot has long been a popular stop for both locals and tourists to admire Phuket’s natural beauty. It’s an important landmark because it perfectly captures the island’s charm — the mix of green hills, turquoise waters, and golden beaches in one frame.
The place is well maintained, with viewing platforms and shaded areas to relax and take photos. Our kids loved the open space and the fresh breeze at the top. Overall, Karon Viewpoint is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the best of Phuket’s landscape and enjoy a bit of peace away from the busy beaches.
