Karri House. Eat - Stay - Love

Tracey is an absolute lifesaver! My mother and I were stuck with no where to stay as we had no accommodation booked for the night, all other places were fully booked. Tracey took us in very last minute and was nothing but loving and welcoming. The house and garden is absolutely beautiful and Tracey gave us everything we needed and more. She made us a delicious breakfast with eggs fresh from the garden and kindly gave us so much helpful information about the local area and things to do. Where to start…|Utterly superb. The hostess with the mostess. What a delightful and magical stay at Karri House. Tracey the host doesn’t just go above…but beyond! The property is absolutely stunning and so comfortable. Upon arrival we knew this would be a holiday like no other. Tracey seemed to know us better than we thought we knew ourselves. She flitted from scromlette (scrambled eggs-omelette) chef supremo to all-knowing viticulturist-cum-chauffeur effortlessly throughout our stay. Kind, loving, hilarious. Karri House was a home away from home. We leave for the U.K. not just with an expanded knowledge of the finest wines in the Antipodes, but with a friend for life. Thank you so very much.

Karri House is extremely well located near the town of Margaret River. The property is set on large grounds abounding with plants and character. The accommodation is very comfortable and our room was very comfortable and spotless. ||Tracey went beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. She cooked delicious breakfasts for us. She has extensive local knowledge and designed a great itinerary for us ensuring covering all the highlights. She booked restaurants in advance for us which were superb. My wife and I highly recommend Karri House.

We were so honoured to be able to stay with Tracey at her beautiful home Karri House. It is an easy 30 minute walk from Margaret River centre , set in stunning garden surroundings and a quiet neighbourhood. Tracey is a wonderful host, well connected with the local restaurants and has a great sense of the aesthetic. Her generosity extends beyond expectation with lots of hospitality and excellent advice about the local attractions. It was quite simply a marvellous stay and we hope to be back sometime.

In January my wife and I with another couple visited the Margaret River Valley for wine tasting and a few days in Perth before returning home. While in Margaret River we stayed at Karri House hosted by Tracey. It's a beautiful property with easy walking distance to the center of town. Tracey is well known in the area and has extensive contacts for wineries to taste and places for lunch and dinner. She is an outstanding host and we hope to return in the near future.

Tracey provides a warm welcome and service second to none. She makes recommendations on things to do and places to see. Tracey can book wineries etc and also offers personalised tours using her car. Her bed and breakfast residence provides an awesome place to stay with beautiful gardens to explore. A unique experience is to be introduced to Elizabeth, an emu who can put on quite a show! All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend Karri House to anyone who wants a first class experience in Margaret River.

Loved Karri House and our gorgeous hostess Tracey who is a wealth of knowledge on the area and surrounds and who has a beautiful nature and calming presence as does her beautiful home inside and out - nothing was too much trouble from marking out the map for places to visit, booking us into restaurants when it seemed impossible, making our beautiful breakfast each morning with fresh eggs from her 'girls' and fresh figs from her orchard. Her beautiful property is so tranquil and holistic with the amazing tall Karri trees, the guest area and her beautiful verandah to relax, the parrots and magpies who are part of her family and we were lucky enough to be able to hand feed. We felt very welcome and comfortable and highly recommend Karri House. We will certainly return. Thanks so much Tracey..

Simply said, if you miss the opportunity to experience Karri House and your host Tracey, you’ll regret it forever! A wonderfully warm and inviting home to spend days exploring the region. Wildlife abounds the venue and beautiful gardens surround you. A short 1/2 hour walk on nature trails into the tidy town Centre, where a multitude of superb dining experiences await. Ensure you contact Tracy well before your visit as she has a wealth of knowledge to pull together an itinerary to suit your stay. Be it wineries, eateries, beaches or nature walks, Tracey has an in-ate ability to create a wonderful and fulfilling visit.
