Karri House. Eat - Stay - Love

We stayed with Tracey for 4 days as a special family get away with my parents who were visiting from the UK.|Have stayed a few days at Karri house last year also we knew we were in for a lovely stay. Tracey is a wonderful, friendly host, full of excellent local knowledge as to the best places to go to make the most out of your trip. The fresh eggs from her chickens for breakfast set you up for a day of adventures and her willingness to accommodate her guests such as offering to drop you into town is you are wanting a few drinks with dinner is going above and beyond. Tracy’s warm manner, beautiful home and gardens make your stay extra special. Can’t recommend Karri House enough.

We stayed at Karri House B&B and had a wonderful time. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with lovely gardens and birds feeding around the house. All the touches, right down to the towels, were top quality. Tracey, our hostess, was fantastic — warm, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful with suggestions that really shaped our stay. She made our dinner reservations and even drove us into town (and picked us up later) so we could enjoy a drink. She no longer advertises through the big booking agencies, so you need to find her directly via her website — well worth it. Highly recommended!

A simply wonderful stay.|The property is beautiful, on the edge of the town, set in two acres, superbly furnished, decorated and presented.|Have a superb breakfast, cooked to order by Tracey and eaten in her immaculate kitchen/dining room. |Best of all is being looked after by the lovely Tracey, a great character and full of fun. She prepared a great itinerary for our day trip, recommended and booked two great local restaurants and even taxied us to the venues so that we could have a drink with our meal.|Highly recommended. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 nights at Karri House. Tracey was a very thoughtful host, providing many little touches that made our stay very special. I had notified her in advance that I need to follow a gluten free diet and she provided a delicious, hearty cooked breakfast of eggs, avocado and spinach on GF toast. |We hadn't really planned anything before our arrival in Margaret River, but Tracey was a fantastic assistance, not only with recommending restaurants, but then also booking them on our behalf. We had a vague idea of what we hoped to do in the area, so Tracey pulled out a map and highlighter and got to work assisting us to plan a perfect 2 and a half days of exploring the region. All of her suggestions and recommendations- from which wineries and towns to visit to the natural wonders of the south- were fabulous. Our only regret was that we didn't allow enough time to explore the beautiful gardens surrounding Karri House. The fruit trees, birdlife, chickens and the visiting kangaroo were all highlights. |Our trip to Margaret River was so much more magical than I'd anticipated thanks to Tracey. I certainly hope to return!

Tracey is an absolute lifesaver! My mother and I were stuck with no where to stay as we had no accommodation booked for the night, all other places were fully booked. Tracey took us in very last minute and was nothing but loving and welcoming. The house and garden is absolutely beautiful and Tracey gave us everything we needed and more. She made us a delicious breakfast with eggs fresh from the garden and kindly gave us so much helpful information about the local area and things to do. We were so honoured to be able to stay with Tracey at her beautiful home Karri House. It is an easy 30 minute walk from Margaret River centre , set in stunning garden surroundings and a quiet neighbourhood. Tracey is a wonderful host, well connected with the local restaurants and has a great sense of the aesthetic. Her generosity extends beyond expectation with lots of hospitality and excellent advice about the local attractions. It was quite simply a marvellous stay and we hope to be back sometime.

Karri House is extremely well located near the town of Margaret River. The property is set on large grounds abounding with plants and character. The accommodation is very comfortable and our room was very comfortable and spotless. ||Tracey went beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. She cooked delicious breakfasts for us. She has extensive local knowledge and designed a great itinerary for us ensuring covering all the highlights. She booked restaurants in advance for us which were superb. My wife and I highly recommend Karri House.

Where to start…|Utterly superb. The hostess with the mostess. What a delightful and magical stay at Karri House. Tracey the host doesn’t just go above…but beyond! The property is absolutely stunning and so comfortable. Upon arrival we knew this would be a holiday like no other. Tracey seemed to know us better than we thought we knew ourselves. She flitted from scromlette (scrambled eggs-omelette) chef supremo to all-knowing viticulturist-cum-chauffeur effortlessly throughout our stay. Kind, loving, hilarious. Karri House was a home away from home. We leave for the U.K. not just with an expanded knowledge of the finest wines in the Antipodes, but with a friend for life. Thank you so very much.
