We stopped here for a glass of wine and a cocktail. The grapefruit cocktail was very nice, and my husband enjoyed his wine. He said the oysters were good, but he wasn't too sure about the sage and buttermilk for the oysters. Fabulous art adorns the walls!

It's located on the top of the iconic pub Tigh Naechtains, it has a good selection of wines and excellent food, it's a bit pricey but you pay for the service, location and quality.

Enjoyed the cute setting above street level lots of nooks to tuck into, including by the fire place. Wine, beers, and bites. Friendly service, creative small menu.

This is a 'nearly hidden' in plain view, gem in Galway. A quiet space amidst the busy Latin Quarter. Delicious food, interesting wines, excellent service. Definately don't miss this for a special evening.

Yelp
Lovely wine bar! A true oasis for wine lovers escaping from the busy streets below. The selection included mostly light wines from Austria to New Zealand. The bottle of Australian Pinot Noir we purchased for 40ish Euro was young and didn't open much even after being open awhile. But we should have chosen differently. They offer tastes before purchase on wines available by the glass. It would be nice to see a few bolder options such as from California. Friendly staff, cozy and inviting environment. I would definitely return if in town.

Yelp
Service was excellent! Location is right in the middle of it all. Small menu but the food was great! Small outside seating area. Live musicians played right outside the bar all day and night.

Yelp
Limited Italian wines by the glass. Gave it 4 stars because suggested red wine from Spain was excellent.

Yelp
Galway is a champion of cuisine, and the restaurant on the second floor was fantastic. I had the pork tacos with burnt pineapple salsa, perfect size for a lite bite and loaded with flavor. Also the polenta fries with a garlic miso dipping sauce, unbelievably tasty. Can't wait to go back the next time I am in Galway.

Yelp
So great I had to make a page! I didn't eat here but trip advisor ratings said the food was very good. I stopped by after dinner with my husband. Ended up spending a couple hours here. The environment is very chill. You walk upstairs into someone's living room essentially. And the waitress was very helpful she let us try a bunch of different reds until we found the perfect one. She was very attentive wish I caught her name. They give you unlimited free assorted olives to enjoy. Overall highly recommend for the winos in your life!

Yelp
We were having a beer downstairs and asked the barkeep where to go for a late dinner (it was almost 10PM). He recommened we go upstairs to this wine bar. It was quiet and cozy when we entered. The girls behind the bar were immediately friendly and welcoming. Even though their menu was supposed to be minimal at that late hour, they said the chef would make us anything on the menu. We ordered the mixed meat and cheese plate and fried plantains...delicious and filling. Then we had braised beef short rib, which was moist and perfectly cooked. It had some kind of rich herbal scent that I couldn't place, although it was intoxicating. The staff were always smiling and courteous, checking on us just often enough. When we asked for the check, they assured us that there was no rush, even though the hour was late and the crowd dwindling. Last-minute decision that turned out wonderfully.

Yelp
4 small plates amongst the 2 of us. Beef cheek, meat and cheese platter, smoked salmon and oysters... with Guinness (from next door) and wine offerings. We were so delightfully stuffed. I recommend to everyone because the tastes outsized the appearance from the outside.
