I visited Fort Kochi with my bros for the New Year celebrations, and Kashi Art Café was already on our list. We first went there on 31st December, but the place was packed with New Year rush, so we decided to skip it that day and came back on 1st January 2026.
Even on Jan 1st, there was a wait of around 20 minutes, but since we had a reservation, we eventually got our table. Once inside, the calm, artistic vibe instantly made us forget the wait. The place has that slow, peaceful Fort Kochi energy which makes you want to sit, talk, and take your time.
Food-wise, yes — it might feel a bit pricey if you compare it with other cafés around Fort Kochi. But personally, I felt it was worth it for the overall experience, hospitality, and quality of food.
My personal favorite was the cold coffee with coconut milk and honey — smooth, refreshing, and different from the usual café cold coffee. I also tried the seafood wrap, which was generously stuffed with prawns, and the fish fillet, which was nicely cooked and creamy.
For a healthy shot, I went with the kale, cucumber, spinach, celery, and green apple juice. It was vegan and gluten-free, and honestly, we first thought it would be more like a salad or plain green apple juice since it was listed just above the fruit bowls — but it turned out to be a proper fresh juice and felt really good.
Overall, Kashi Art Café is not just about food — it’s about the experience. Next time I visit, the chocolate cake is definitely on my list 🍰
