We visited Kashi Art Café for in evening for some Drinks . It is located in the charming Burger Lane of Fort Kochi. The artistic ambience remains one of its specialty, which was pleasant, artistic, and true to the laid-back vibe of the area. I understand it is not very crowded on weekdays when it's not too crowded. We had ginger lemonade , ginger tea, cold coffee and mint flavored lemonade. Service, was a bit slow and since we went on a week end it was a bit difficult to get the seat also.

Kashi Art Café in Fort Kochi is truly a landmark destination that beautifully blends art, food, and nostalgia. Having visited this café many years ago during my school and college days, stepping in again felt like a walk down memory lane. The ambience is exactly what one would hope for in Fort Kochi—calm, rustic, and filled with character. The art-filled interiors, open courtyard, and laid-back vibe make it a place where time slows down, encouraging long conversations and relaxed moments. On this visit, we ordered their signature Chocolate Cake, the famous dish that has almost become synonymous with Kashi Café. The cake was soft, moist, and indulgent. While it was delightful, I personally felt it was on the sweeter side, and perhaps a slightly more balanced flavor would have made it even better. Still, it is something one must try at least once here. We also tried the Meat Lovers’ Omelette, which was truly satisfying. Packed with bacon, chicken sausage, chicken salami, cheese, tomatoes, and onions, it came with toasted bread, peanut butter, and a side of cut fruits. It was hearty, filling, and well-prepared. The balance of flavors and the portion size made it a standout dish. The Cheese Omelette too deserves a special mention—it was exceptionally well done, fluffy and perfectly seasoned, one of the best I’ve had in Kochi. To complement our meal, we ordered the Cold Espresso blended with coffee ice cream and cold milk. It was refreshing, creamy, and had just the right coffee kick, a perfect cooler for the Kochi weather. Overall, Kashi Café is not just about food but also about the experience. It’s a place that makes you want to return, not only for the menu but also for the atmosphere and memories it evokes. While the prices lean slightly towards the premium side, the ambience and quality justify it. For anyone visiting Fort Kochi, this café is an absolute must-visit.

Nice and beautiful cafe; though street leading to it is a bit narrow. An old house converted to a cafe in an artistic manner. Centrally located too. Coming to the food we tasted their signature item, the chocolate cake. Enough for two people. Very tasty and not overpriced ; costed 240 rupees. Our kids also enjoyed it. Suitable for a quick bite. Customer service also appeared satisfactory.

Loved the food here — the chocolate cake definitely lived up to the hype, and the beef steak was surprisingly good. The hot chocolate was comforting too. The only downside was the presence of a few flies, which slightly affected the experience. The steak felt a bit pricey, but the cake was reasonably priced. Overall, a cozy spot with great food.

A soulful blend of food, art, and calm in Fort Kochi! Tucked away in the heritage-rich lanes of Fort Kochi, this place offers a serene escape with its rustic charm and creative ambiance. Their Kombucha (fermented tea) is a refreshing surprise - cool, tangy, and uniquely local. The food is wholesome, thoughtfully plated, and a perfect place for hangouts. What makes it extra special is the evolving art gallery right at the entrance—it sets the tone for a deeply artistic and inspiring visit. A must-visit for art lovers, solo travelers, and anyone who enjoys meaningful spaces with good food and peaceful vibes.

Tried the famous chocolate cake and it was worth the hype, quite tasty and value for money. Hot chocolate was mediocre, could have been made better. Service can be quicker, but the cafe itself has a great vibe. Definitely recommend one to stop by and have a slice of their chocolate cake!

We visited this place for lunch on May 2, 2025. The ambiance was pleasant, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was nice. We ordered organic brown rice with veggies, veg sizzlers, cake, and a drink made with tender coconut water and mango. The food was really good. The sizzlers were unique—served without rice or pasta, but still flavorful and satisfying. The brown rice was well-cooked, and the accompanying curry and vegetables were delicious. The chocolate cake was especially tasty, with a generous amount of molten lava and a good portion size. However, I did find the quantity of the organic brown rice a bit less for the price. The coconut and mango drink was refreshing but quite expensive. Also, please note that there’s no air conditioning here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it's a good place to eat, though a bit on the pricier side
