Kashmir Wellness & Spa Hotel Adults Only

Great 5-star hotel, a true gem. What makes it truly stand out compared to some other 5-star hotels in Bulgaria is class. It has amazing facilities (various indoor and outdoor hot mineral pools, including forest pools), a lovely spa with many types of saunas, a wellness program, tastefully designed comfortable accommodations with comfortable beds, pillows, etc., wonderfully sound-insulated (you do not hear a thing), set in a beautiful forest environment by the Kleptuza lake in Velingrad (which bills itself as "the spa capital of the Balkans"). Great service - everyone is helpful, kind, polite. Everything is spotlessly clean: the common areas are constantly being cleaned (quietly and unobtrusively), the rooms are cleaned when it's convenient to the guests (there are buttons you can use to indicate if and when you need your room to be cleaned). The restaurant has an incredible selection of gourmet products - local and also imported (French and Italian cheeses, cold cuts and smoked fish). There's a breakfast buffet and an extensive dinner salad and fruit bar buffet, but at dinner you order an appetizer, a main dish and a dessert from a select menu. We found the waiters' recommendations very helpful. If you want to pamper yourself and unwind in the quiet of the forest - this is the place for you. Last, but not least - the hotel is pet-friendly and adults-only. We visited twice in the course of a month and will definitely be back. Everything is as pictured on the hotel web site. I'm adding some pictures, but the pictures of other reviewers are much better.

Kashmir is most likely the best SPA resort in Bulgaria (together with Zornitza). The facility is great, SPA zone is also outstanding, it is very clean & very cozy. You can't go wrong with them. The half board is great, the food is delicious and the staff is smiling and friendly. One downside is they don't have bidet shower in the restrooms. Besides of that, the rooms are also cozy and comfortable. The mattress was on the soft side, which I personally dislike, but it's a matter of a personal preference. One think you should definitely experience are the small pools with hot mineral water in the forest. Overall - a real 5 star experience, which is worthy the higher price.

We arrived at the hotel—11 family members—for a one-week vacation. At first, we were impressed by the place and the facilities the hotel offers, but unfortunately, on the third night, five of us got food poisoning and were vomiting all night. We were confined to bed for the following two days, which obviously ruined the entire vacation. When we recovered, we spoke with other guests at the hotel and discovered we weren’t the only ones who suffered from food poisoning that evening. This clearly indicates that the problem lies with the hotel’s food. When we approached the management, we were met with an indifferent response and a shocking lack of responsibility. The manager, Anna, claimed that it was probably a virus (because of course it makes perfect sense that over 10 guests from different rooms just happened to catch a virus on the same night with the exact same symptoms…...), and that if there was an issue with the hotel food, many more guests would have complained. The hotel didn’t even bother to offer us water delivered to the room to help us feel better. We looked at past reviews to see if this had happened to other guests before, and to our surprise, we found that the same incident occurred six months ago and nine months ago—and the hotel management responded in exactly the same way. In other words, they don’t even bother to address or investigate the issue. In short, a very distressing experience. It’s a real shame that a hotel that’s supposed to be five stars operates this way. Subject: Warning: Stay Away from Kashmir Wellness Spa Hotel I am writing this review to strongly warn anyone considering a stay at Kashmir Wellness Spa Hotel. My experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare, and it’s imperative that potential guests are aware of the serious issues at this establishment. During our stay, 37 guests, including my group of five, suffered from food poisoning, which was clearly a result of the hotel's food. When I reported this alarming situation to the hotel management, I was met with a shocking level of indifference. Ainna, the hotel manager, claimed it was just a virus and insisted that we were the only ones complaining—despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. It became clear that she has been using the same copy-paste response to dismiss multiple complaints, which is utterly unprofessional and unacceptable. This hotel does not take guest health seriously. Instead of addressing the issue, they choose to deflect blame and minimize the concerns of their guests. If you value your health and well-being, I strongly advise you to stay far away from this hotel. It’s not worth the risk! Save yourself the trouble and choose a different place to stay. Definately the best spa in Bulgaria, very friendly staff and delicious food. I would only advise the managment team to take a look at the bathroom walls in each room as they are painted in dark gray (not covered with tiles) and have some nasty marks and stains. A bit of a let down considering the high price and all facilities.

Unique experience for adults only. Freshest air, gorgeous views, fantastic spa treatments, mental and physical healing, fine dining, amazing interiors, cheerful personnel, and professional service. Simply a top notch spa and wellness hotel with decent price per night. On the weekends there is a 2-day-Friday and Saturday must-stay policy. Overall score 4.8/5 for a Spa & Wellness Hotel.

Rooms are nice, restorant is quiet and the interior and SPA is good. Well, we were large group and other people had food poisoning, including me. Imeddiately after the dinner my stomach problems started... I see from the other comments that we were not exception. Other thing is that next to the 5 star hotel is a gypsy neighbors :)) Definitely not worth the price.

The hotel is very nice – the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the toiletries provided in the room had a pleasant scent. The restaurant is good, with a lovely terrace, and the food is very tasty. The well-stocked minibar. The spa area is pleasant and clean. However, I have stayed in equally good hotels at a more reasonable price.
