Spent two days in Freiburg with friends. The beer was really great, the food not so much. I ordered a tarte flambée and it was just as good as a frozen one made at home. The view was great though. We‘ll definetly go back there again, but just for drinks.

We ♡ it ! Friendly/welcoming service, amazing view over Freiburg. Despite little rain/wind it was definitly worth a visit. We are looking for to come back to enjoy the mouthwatering food too next time !

My only complaint is the busker(guy playing music) he plays for 20 or 30 min then goes around and stops at each table on that side with his hat out and acts like we were here to see him and if we dont tip he acts surprised and hurt like dude your music sucks it's all melodramatic and just crap on a weird instrument if you can call it that. I came here for the view not your music so stopping at every table and thanking them for coming is just absurd

Amazing views and decent fries (a bit stale)! The issue is we ordered a pilsner and a radler and we couldn’t taste the lemonade in the radler at all. It was honestly hard to detect a difference between the radler and the pilsner so I’m almost sure they made a mistake but they gave me the beer and said it was a radler. I also didn’t see lemonade get poured in the glass. That plus the stale fries and slightly steep prices means I would only come back for the incredible views!

This location is literally the best one if you are looking for somewhere to eat local food with a fantastic view. We tried literally everything from the menu, and nothing disappointed us, from the schnitzel to the brezels with the cheese cream. The guys in the kitchen were really friendly and willing to help us even when we came in speaking with a mix of english and german. We really had a good time. The only flaw was that the fries were a little too salty.

Lovely atmos - especially with the live brass brand - and an excellent view. Drinks range is fine though certainly nothing special

A great Beer Garten, with an amazing ambiance, great views over the city, and lots of beer! There is an extensive menu of beer, I had a shandy; a mixture of beer and Sprite, very refreshing in the heat.

Great view, good beer. Food not good. Bunch of kids working in kitchen who really don't seem to care about the food they are putting out. Worst food I've had so far in Germany.
