This boutique hotel was very comfortable and couldn’t be in a better location in the old town, in the immediate proximity of Diocletian’s palace. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable and clean. And the air conditioning worked very well. The staff was very helpful in getting our bags upstairs to our room so that wasn’t an issue. It took us a few minutes to figure out where the actual entrance to the hotel was because it’s sort of hidden behind the building and up some stairs. We would definitely stay here again.

5- stars all around! We stayed here twice over the course of a 12- day trip (with a cruise in the middle). The first stay was a small apartment in the main building. Very clean with great views of the square.||The 2nd stay was a deluxe apartment in the annex. Easily sleeps 4 people with a nice bathroom and full kitchen. Both stays had AC, private en suites and an honor "mini bar."||The staff was super friendly and accommodating. ||Word of caution. This hotel is inside the Diocletian Palace walls. There are NO elevators in a 4th century palace! Even the check in desk requires a walk up a flight of stairs. Your room may be 2 flights up or 3! They have staff who will help you, but when we left to catch an airport shuttle at 5am, we had to bring it down ourselves... thank goodness we had carry-ons! This will be our go to hotel in Split in the future||

Had my doubts when I arrived & entrance was around the back of the building down a narrow street but my research proved true. This building is deceiving from the outside. The room was modern & stellar. Our view from the window faced the seaport & the restaurants along the promenade below us. Air conditioning however with the window opened you get the full feeling of the town. The front desk was very helpful for all our needs & questions. We stayed in Split only one night (2 days) & this met our needs. If you want a posh hotel costing you 2-3 times the amount with no local feel then don't stay here. My wife & I were extremely satisfied & recommended this Boutique Hotel.

We were allowed an early check-in because the room was open. The entrance was tricky to find the first time, but easy after that. Great location 1/2 block off the Promenade. Tons of restaurants and gelato shops in every direction. The wifi worked fine for our phones but not for our older laptop.

We stayed here twice in a 2 week stint after our first hotel was a bust. Both times, the staff was warm and welcoming and really helped us out of a pinch in the beginning of our vacation. Directly in the midst of the Diocletian Palace, we stayed in both the main hotel and the annex. The rooms were different in nature (small apartment vs 4- person apartment) but the amenities were clean and comfortable with views of the squares. The location of the main hotel is a bit hidden, but the directions on their website made it easy to find. Their staff is friendly They'll even arrange a shuttle driver for a fee to take you to the airport if you have an early flight before the airport shuttle is in operation. This is inside the Palace walls, so don't expect an elevator. You will have to walk flights of stairs at a minimum to get to the front desk. This is going to be our go to hotel in Split in the future!

We stayed in annex room 3. It was larger than 1 or 2 and had beds for 4. Modern bath. It was up 8 flights of stairs. Fair price and central in the old town.

We found this hotel to be great. After reading some reviews before we arrived we were concerned that it would be sub standard, but we couldn't be more wrong. Yes, there are stairs with no lift but the hotel is quite honest on this subject and there's is very little they can do to address this issue in a small, old building. |Our room had wonderful views over the harbour and was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was quite small but had all the amenities you could ask for.|Breakfast started at 7am but on the first morning of our stay we had an early start for a pre-arranged trip and so the hotel kindly opened the dining room at 6.30am for us.|Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold food and drinks.|We found the reception staff to be helpful and friendly.|The location of the hotel couldn't be better. Close to the ferry port and right in the centre of the old town. |Overall a really enjoyable stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
