A stunning sunset painting the sea in golden light, with boats resting peacefully in silhouette.
The calm waves and warm sky create a perfect moment of serenity and beauty.

Very nice beach, clean white sand, you can rent two sun beds with umbrella for 200 batt.
Lots of water sports, nice waves.
One of the best spots to enjoy the sunset in phucket.

Kata beach is very nice but busy! Unlike other photos and videos, we found there was little space on the sand not already taken up with rented sunshades and loungers.
Even the shady, wet area to the far left of the beach was stacked with sunshades. We did find some rocks to perch on though and had the best beach snorkelling here!

Amazing beach, dotted with restaurants, especialy great for sunsets. Loungers and umbrellas are very commercialized but not too expensive. The chair vendors save the "front row" for people paying more of if you're pretty.

Very nice and long beach. You can rent umbrellas but do not have to. There are a lot of boats so its not perfect for swimming but it's still nice. Be careful though cause there are some dead jellyfish swimming around and at the beach by the water. Sunset was also beautiful to see there .

Kata Beach is the perfect balance, lively but not overcrowded. You can try activities like surfing, parasailing, and e-surfing, or simply relax by the shore. There are also plenty of lovely beachfront restaurants where you can enjoy good food with a beautiful ocean view.

Beach is very crowded. Full of sunbeds! The water is so shallow you need to go a good distance if you want to swim. Even if you stay in Kata Beach I'll recommend Karon Beach which is at 10 minutes walking distance from kTa center.

Kata beach is nice, but there are few details I'd like to mention:
👍Pros
- Clean water, clean beach. If yiu swim well, you can swim far from crowds
👎Cons
- a lot of people. I stayed in beaches very far from crowds and it was much more private and pleasant experience.
- no marine life
