Kata Noi Beach

One of my favorite beaches in all of Thailand. Kata Noi is a beautiful sandy beach with clear water and a very relaxing atmosphere. It’s a relatively small beach, but still wide enough for everyone — there are umbrellas available, but there’s also plenty of space if you simply want to lay down your towel and enjoy the sea and the scenery. It’s also a wonderful place to watch the sunset. On the left side of the beach you can find longtail boats that can take you on small trips to other beaches like Karon Beach, Ya Nui Beach, Banana Beach and more. A truly lovely beach. I hope I can keep visiting it every year! 🏝️⛱️🌴

Kata Noi Beach, Phuket is a true gem. Clean, well-kept, and less crowded than many other beaches on the island, it offers a perfect balance between natural beauty and relaxation. The water is crystal clear, the sand soft and golden, and the atmosphere peaceful throughout the day. Ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the view, Kata Noi feels refined and unspoiled at the same time. A wonderful place to experience the more serene side of Phuket.

Kata Noi Beach (หาดกะตะน้อย) One of the most peaceful and beautiful beaches in Phuket. The water is incredibly clear with a soft turquoise shade, and the sand is clean and smooth—perfect for relaxing or taking photos. It’s much quieter than Kata Beach, which makes it ideal if you want a calm and less crowded spot. There are a few local shops and cafés nearby, but the beach itself stays very natural. Waves can get a bit strong depending on the season, so it’s great for swimming when calm and fun for light surfing when waves pick up. Clean, scenic, and super relaxing. A must-visit if you’re in Phuket!

The beach is beautiful and suitable for families with children. There weren't too many people during the season. Prices are similar to everywhere else. There are a couple of grocery stores nearby, and restaurants along the road to suit any budget.

We been in a few places in Thailand and overall this was the beast beach. Clean (given the standards elsewhere), shallow entry and some nice spots for snorkeling. Not counting other more remote places where you need a boat to get to. At the end of the 30 day trip I wished I stayed here for at least 20.

I think if you are staying on the south side of Kata beach it probably is worth making the extra 10 minute walk to Kata Noi. It's slightly more secluded and much less busy. The waves seemed bigger too

The most beautiful beach we went in Phuket so far. It’s surrounded by resorts and has terrible access. Trying to get back from this beach to Old Town during 5:30 until 8-9pm will take you probably 1-1:30hs.

The most gorgeous beach! So quiet, calm, peaceful. Perfect view, Turquoise water, located between the rocks. Amazing!
