It was a real pleasure to work with Kate Roos and her team for a design for our new kitchen. We met with a few local design firms to select a kitchen designer in Minneapolis and we moved forward with Kate and because of the individual attention she and her team are able to devote to each project. There were ample opportunities for feedback and revisions and we were really impressed at how they were able to thoughtfully and intentionally navigate the nuances of an old house with space constraints. We loved being presented with multiple options, each of which pushed our thinking around the space. We are so pleased we worked with Kate Roos Design and highly recommend their services!

We used the space planning services from the Kate Roos Design group. They took detailed measurements of our space. Following the inital consultation and measurements, every meeting was helpful, well planned and perfectly executed. Our designer, Leah, was warm and friendly and knew our needs and preferences and offered great feedback and options. Highly recommend!

From the moment we first met with Kate, our project felt fun and easy. Though we knew we wanted a new kitchen, we had no idea how to translate our wishes into reality. Kate and her fabulous team helped us define how we use our space, what the priorities were for our family and what was possible in the space. Their attention to detail, function and design, as well as their ability to meet all the needs of everyone in our busy family, was simply incredible. The entire process was honestly just joyful. They helped us integrate our family's style into the plans and made sure there was a congruent flow into the rest of the house. The gorgeous result of their attention to detail and expertise in the transformation of old quirky houses, has given us the absolute kitchen of our dreams.

I firmly believe that working with Kate and her team was what made our kitchen remodel go smoothly and with incredible results. Their knowledge and attention to detail likely prevented a lot of missteps and I’m amazed at their ability to interpret our seeming all over the place style and preferences and come up with something beautiful and cohesive. Kate is incredibly experienced, patient, kind, hard-working, and professional. We hired Kate and her awesome team for a complete kitchen renovation that involved removing a wall in order to open up the former galley kitchen to the dining room. They thought of everything we didn't know we needed in terms of space planning and layout, and accommodated special requests from us, as well. Her great taste and creativity helped us achieve the kitchen of our dreams. She is well-connected to quality local vendors who respect her work, and these sorts of details are why you would hire an experienced designer like Kate.
