Kathmore

We were booked here thru Rabbie´s and it was a very pleasant stay. Friendly and cheerful welcome by Morven who gave us a twin room en suite in the next house with garden view. Since we were on a tour with Rabbie´s we had a first very early departure to catch the ferry to Isle of Mull. Morven gave us a breakfast bag to go and what a breakfast bag! It was PERFECT!! We got back late after a long day on the road. The twin room was very well planned, really nice beds and the bathroom with a BIG bathtub was supernice. The second day breakfast was cooked to perfection and many great choices. The guesthouse is only a few minutes walk to Aldi, Lidl AND Tesco to buy some snacks and drinks needed to fill up for a second day on tour.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Kathmore. Due to an early start on one day, Morven provided us a delicious packed lunch. The next morning we had breakfast before we left, another delicious meal. We enjoyed using the common spaces in the evening. The walk to restaurants was easy. Highly recommend.

A wonderful stay! A nice quiet location with an easy walk to the main area of Oban. Morven was so welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and very generous. I enjoyed my time spent at Kathmore Guest House.

It’s my second visit to Oban and I can’t tell how pleased I am with this accommodation! The host, Morven, is a very warm hearted and friendly lady, she makes you feel at home from the very beginning! Every little detail in the house is chosen with so much love and care, you can feel it in every room! I highly recommend this wonderful B&B when visiting Scotland.

Booked as part of a Rabbies tour, so we didn’t know what to expect. Cozy, but very clean. Comfortable bed, and friendly hosts. Lovely area, within walking distance to most things. Morven and Keith could not have been any nicer.

A pleasant guest house with a gracious host. Delicious breakfast to get you set up for the day. Comfortable and quiet, but within convenient walking distance to town. we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Well kept with outstanding customer service. We really enjoyed our stay. Short walk to the core of Oban. Lots of space to relax and chill. Great breakfast. A home away from home. Great place to stay..
