This is the best place I ate in Nicosia. I had beef liver once, and octopus the second time. I must say, that was the best octopus I ever ate. I totally recomand it. If you came to Nicosia, this is the place where you want to eat for sure.

Food is lovely and the place is completely packed (and it should be). Atmosphere is super vibrant, staff are busy but lovely and accommodating. Had such a good time and even got a complementary dessert! Definitely recommend

Great and super generous food ( gorgeous pieces of meat)with good service and great atmosphere ( live music). House wine was a bit disappointing. It's on vibrant Ledra, just by the border so you can visit regardless of were you are staying. At the end we got some tasty baklava and spirit.

Cute restaurant at the end of Ledra street, with a quite large outdoor space, all of which is covered and heated, which we appreciated. The starters were delicious, both the saganaki and grilled octopus were fantastic, and I would highly recommend them if you’re visiting. The pork suvlaki I had for main was abit of a let down. Pieces are quite small and it was overcooked, which made the meat rather tough to chew. Staffing could be improved as they weren’t particularly attentive. The bring you a lovely Mastiha sweet shot at the end which was very much appreciated.

Good option to eat a tasty Mussaka. A few meters away from the checkpoint. It could seem touristic trap but It doesn't, food was good and service quite correct. Recommend it

Tasty and generous mezzes with a wide variety for meat and fish lovers as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Let the waiter’s recommend you based on your taste.

Fabulous food , good decent portion sizes, wonderful flavours..everything was cooked perfectly! Loved the moussaka and the lamb chops and would recommend both dishes!

The best Taverna with Cypriot Greek food. The minute you step into the restaurant you feel like you are in another world. I was invited here by my dear friend whom I have not seen for 7 years. We ordered a Fish Meze. And we talked and talked. Food was coming and coming. We needed a much bigger table for this amount of food. And we should’ve eaten for a week! We were so fool and there was still so much food to eat. Mr Sakis come over and he told us few stories about all those famous people on the wall who visited this restaurant. So I told him you have to take a picture of us because we are famous public speakers. This gentlemen is such a joy to be around. He knows how to make you comfortable. This Taverna is a must on your to do list while visiting Nicosia.
