Katibawasan Falls

Katibawasan Falls stole the show on our Camiguin trip. This majestic 70-meter cascade plunges into a crystal-clear, swimmable pool surrounded by lush jungle. We took a dip and it was very refreshing, especially on a hot sunny tropical day! Easy access via steps, picnic areas, and affordable entry made it family-friendly. The vibrant energy and serene vibe left us rejuvenated. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts!

This wasn’t my favorite falls here in Camiguin but it sure was impressive. The water was cold and refreshing. Everything including big boulders were covered in green moss which looked amazing. 75p to enter and they have restrooms. They have it roped off to where you can’t actually go under the waterfall but it’s still awesome. Lots of people mostly locals taking pictures and having fun. Recommended

The place was also nice but a bit far. Advisable to visit when it’s sunny the road is slippery when wet, so be careful. Tuasan is still my number one. Nothing much it’s majestic. So giving it a 4.

I'd give it five stars because I love waterfalls. I like how there are railings and cemented stairways for safety purposes. Water was cold + wind from the waterfall splash, so amazing! You're also surrounded by lots of trees and insects buzzing and birds chirping. ✨ Google Maps is your guide but download it offline as there's no signal when you reach there. There are souvenir shops there but they only accept cash. ▶️ You'll be paying PHP 75 for the entrance fee ▶️ Parking for motorbike PHP 15 ▶️ PHP 20 environmental fee

Katibawasan falls is a popular tourist attraction, and is usually used to represent Camiguin Island (e.g., as emblazoned in t-shirts). In fact, on approach to the falls proper, the visitor is met by the large sign Camiguin! The visitor has to manage a zigzagging trail down to the pool where the falls empties. At specific points along the route, they can have pictures taken with the breathtaking falls as background. Trekkers should be careful not to slip on the smooth boulders that dot the trail! Parking area is adequate.

it was raining when we went here so the water was extra cold. but honestly, it made the experience even better. i loved watching the leaves dance with the breeze coming from the falls, it felt so peaceful. the view was breathtaking, especially when you float in the water and all you see are the vibrant greens of the trees. it seriously felt like i was in heaven, so calm and connected with nature

The drive to the falls is scenic. Entrance fee is 75 pesos per person, but discounts are available for senior citizens and students. The swimming area is wider compared to Tuasan, and deeper is well. You can enjoy swimming here, just don't expect the water to be crystal clear. But, it's definitely clean, since it's flowing...
