"Katie’s Kitchen, just outside Lancaster, has delicious potato soup ($3) — an Amish thing — and a big menu. It’s a 1970s-era restaurant that’s now Amish-operated and serves classic Pennsylvania Dutch food like ham loaf served with pineapple glaze ($10), and a pork-and-sauerkraut dinner platter with applesauce ($10). The staff is very friendly."
Great food and service. Food came out super quick and the peanut butter served with dinner rolls was delicious. The Tuesday Special Amish Wedding Meal was amazing, I highly recommend it! Prices are great and portions are large. Family friendly too with large playground sets across the parking lot. It started to get very crowded with a lot of people waiting around 5-5:30 so I’d recommend getting there for an early dinner.

Great family restaurant! We went here for the first time and really enjoyed the food. The service was good, and food came fairly quickly.
The cheeseburger soup was outstanding. And I got the hot ham sandwich, and it was so tender and delicious. Highly recommended for good homemade Amish food and reasonable prices!

This place is worth your visit. Staff exceed kindness and attentiveness in every way. And food was simple, classic, and portions that make sure you don’t leave hungry. The dinner rolls were so soft my kids are still talking about them! We are just passing through but if in the area again this will be a returning stop!

We waited in line for about 50 minutes at this restaurant we chose for dinner. The staff were very kind and extremely friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were large. It’s definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

Food was super good. Bit on the pricey side but very good. It's a tourist place to go. Run by all young women some looked as young as 13 all dressed in amish clothes. Was a bit of a wait even on a Friday after noon at 130.

You probably haven’t had a breakfast like this since you were a kid at Grandmas house. HUGE portions and amazing. These fried potatoes! Oh my! Taste like they were soaked in cream and butter for a week before frying. That bacon I swear was squealing an hour ago. Then the friendly Amish / Mennonite staff just topped it off. My wife now wants to move here just to have this breakfast in the mornings but within a month she’d be the size of that cow across the road, so we’ll stay in West Virginia. I don’t know if these are the people that will prepare the marriage supper of the lamb, but I’ve put in a request for breakfast the next morning.

This place is a MUST visit for me when I’m in the area. It is an Amish run restaurant & everything is homemade! They also have cute handmade clothes available for sale. I’ve had breakfast & it was fantastic. Recently I enjoyed dinner there. It was a perfect homemade comfort meal.

Excellent home-style food from an Amish restaurant. 😍 Desserts were delicious 😋 and the service was great! Their signature dish! Slowww cooked, melt-in-your-mouth Beef over 'dumpling-like' wide Noodles, covered with Stewed Tomatoes. YUM!!!🤯 Very hardy meal.
