Katie's Pizza & Pasta – Rock Hill

Chairs are hard, but they do have a cushioned seating area. Gluten free bread they served for bread service is just the pizza hard shell they use. Most people had either either salad or pizza and seemed to like it. I had the chicken parmigiana which is in no way close to the chicken parmigiana that you would have in most Italian restaurants. I didn't like the fried chicken in the dish, but did like the arugula salad. They don't box up the food for you, but do give you a box so you can do it yourself. Our reservations were lost, so call the day you are going to confirm your reservations.

Absolutely in love with this restaurant! All of the staff is amazing, but our waitress, Jen, was phenomenal! My friend and I were able to sit outside in mid January because they have heaters and it was so refreshing. We got the margarita pizza & lemon pasta which was fantastic! The pasta alone will have me coming back time and time again.

Always a 10/10 at Katie’s!! Our visit today was especially nice, our server Sammy was incredible!! We had a large party for a friend birthday, he got everything right, split the checks a million ways and was SO NICE!!!!!!! Food was amazing, as always!!

I decided to give Katie's a try because the frozen pizza at grocery stores is delicious, but the restaurant food quality seems to be trash. I ordered a prosciutto pizza, just look at the included picture... Huge pieces of meet that all slide entirely off the slice as I pull a piece away. The prosciutto is not cooked or crisp in anyway, it feels like it was taken straight out of the package and placed on the pizza AFTER it was done cooking. And this is only a review of the pizza from our order, the pasta is also better from the frozen section of the grocery store. I will not be returning, first impression is everything.

Food is authentic and always delicious. Of all the locations, this one has my favorite atmosphere, although they’re all absolutely beautiful. The service is always above and beyond, but I have to point out our server Caitlin. Hands down the best server I have ever had. Sweet, funny, and helpful. I was having a tough day and she went out of her way to give me encouraging words and advice. Completely unnecessary but I will remember that forever! They definitely have a customer for life. :)

This was my first time at Katie's and it most definitely won't be my last. The service is amazing. Our servers recommended amazing dishes and they nailed each recommendation. Every single bite was absolutely stellar. I will say that the standout was the Squid Ink Pasta. Truly a magnificent dish. Five stars all the way 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I cannot wait to go back and try the calamari, the spaghetti and meatballs, the pizza, and pretty much every other thing on the menu.

Dustin the bartender was amazing! However, I got the chicken parm and it was not cooked. The manager comped the item and offered a small gift card however, unlikely to return due to raw chicken with bill still over $100 for two people.

Food is terrible! Kids pizza awful kids spaghetti flavorless butternut squash tortellini you only get 10 tortellini a plate so its a rip off. The wild boar dishes are really pulled pork with spaghetti basically not very tasty the $20 salads are good at least. The chairs are cheap. Im shocked at how expensive the place is for what you get portion wise and flavor and the seating its not worth $115 for 3 adults and 2 kids. I left $10 tip cause the food sucked and the server came and asked if I meant to only leave $10. Like who the hell does that! We left hungry. Its a bad place really. I wont ever go back.

Why has it taken me this long to come back to Katie's? I honestly don't have an answer but I've been to this location years ago, did not realize I haven't written a review and due to recent activities (such as the upcoming new location by me hopefully in 2025), we've decided to stop in to dine. Then we repeated the activity a couple more times after that. I've had their pizzas in the past and I liked them but on my most recent visits, I have been on the black spaghetti kick - squid ink spaghetti, lemon butter and these perfectly cooked prawns. So good! If you haven't tried it yet, you should. We've also shared their crispy fried artichoke appetizer which was amazing. My husband has tried several different pizzas during our visits and he's never had any complaints. When we go, I do try to make myself want other things from the menu but so far, I have been going back to old faithful - the squid ink spaghetti. Maybe someday I'll get something else. The restaurant has a huge patio for those beautiful days. They also have indoor seating, some tables might be close to the pizza making action. The staff have always been friendly and nice. I cannot wait for their new location to open!

Katie's doesn't sound like the name of an Italian restaurant, but was very highly recommended to me by locals. I can see why. Service was great, and they claim to make their own pasta, which is evident. I enjoyed the toasted ravioli, though I only had one due to some very hungry colleagues. My coworkers encouraged me to try the black spaghetti, and I've never had squid ink pasta. I thought it was carefully made, however overall it was very acidic and there was nothing in the dish to cut the acidity. It left me almost a metallic aftertaste. The seafood was perfectly cooked, and I especially loved the scallops, though there were only two. Ultimately I left unfilled with the lack of proteins on the plate. I understand costs involved, but the prices at Katie's are a bit high for what you get. However, Katie's clearly is a step above usually Italian faire.

Very, very overrated and overpriced food. Was excited to try Katie's because of the constant hype for their pizza. Spent 21 dollars on an almost personal size pizza to be extremely unimpressed. Flavor was fine, but it was small, thin, and floppy. Besides their pizza we had the ceaser salad and bread service. The bread service is literally just their pizza dough with oil and balsamic.... The ceaser I couldn't even eat. The dressing was not good at all. 20 dollars for the salad. We had mocktails as well. They were enjoyable. STL has much better pizza for less $$$. Try Anthoninos or Union Loafers.

Always great food. We love all the pasta. My husband loves the pizza. He can never decide between mushrooms and the margarita. You can't go wrong. They have nice drinks too. Service is always friendly and accommodating.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu for Katie's pizza! Their service is always stellar and quick. Their patio is amazing even in the winter-it's heated. Their brunch is also amazing with blood orange mimosas. For dinner I had the cacio e Pepe and it was fabulous! I added chicken.

Overall, this is a wonderful place to come for some pizza and pasta! Highly highly recommend WAIT TIME: Came in for lunch around 2:30pm and were seated immediately. Food only took like 15 mins to be served after we ordered! FOOD: We split the Crespone Ricotta Tortellini and the Pancetta & Fig pizza. The menu is extensive with a lot of great and unique flavors and options, which was pleasant to see! Had to look up a few of the words since I don't order Italian too often, so be prepared if you are curious. Both dishes were so incredible in flavor; the pasta sauce was unlike anything I've had before and went well with the tortellini. The pizza.... ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! The flavors all mix so well and it is perfectly well balanced. SERVICE: Server was conscious to ask of any allergies from the start, which was nice to see. Other than that, service was pretty regular, nothing special. AMBIANCE: The lively music is nice and they do have a nice outdoor patio for when it's warmer out. The inside has plenty of seating too and was decent enough. PRICE: Came out to around $57 for the two plates; Italian is always on the pricier side, but if you're looking to go for a yummy Italian meal out, this is solid and comparable to other similar caliber Italian places.

If you want to see the brunch menu, use the hamburger menu (=) on the Katie's website to find it with the other menus... I didn't find it super intuitive to locate. This is my favorite Katie's location. I always make a reservation to ensure I can get on the patio. My partner and I had come here for a date night a few weeks ago (we got mushroom pasta, morel pizza, and cannoli) and had the melon & prosciutto app, and I've been thinking about it ever since. The food and drink were just as good as always. The patio was just what I needed to start my day. And when my server Nicole found out I was heading to the art fair right after, she brought me a To Go cup of water to take with me to it. So thoughtful! Can't wait for next time.

All the food was great, service was also top notch! Appetizer, salad, and pizza. Only took one photo though.

This place is beautiful and everyone is really nice. Our waiter recommend we get the sweet corn arancini and I'm so glad he did because they were delicious he was not wrong. Also the pepperoni pizza had a sweet drizzle in it that made it so yummy. The spaghetti and meat ball were so good I wish we could have taken the leftovers but our hotel room had no fridge or microwave. Definitely a great spot to stop by when at the ball park village. We were new visitors from California and we really enjoyed ourselves!

Katie's Pizza & Pasta is a nice, sit down St. Louis Italian staple with multiple locations including in Town and Country and Ball Park Village. Today I came to their Rockhill location and have to say that this is the best meal I have had in quite a while. They offer a variety of anti pasti dishes, pizzas, and pastas. They also offer brunch! I ordered the mushroom burrata and black spaghetti. The mushroom burrata came with toasted bread, seasoned burrata with olive oil drizzled on top, and roasted forest mushrooms. This dish was amazing! The burrata was seasoned well and spread very easily on the toasted bread, and the mushrooms had a nice sweetness to it. The black spaghetti is the best spaghetti I've had in a while! It is an oil based squid ink spaghetti and had the perfect mix of savory and spice. The pasta came with a nice serving of shrimp, scallops, clams, and fish eggs. This review does not do the black spaghetti justice! It was so good I can't wait to come back next week and get it again!

While I've been to Katie's in BPV, this was my first visit to the Rock Hill location. We had a reservation for a work team lunch and we were seated promptly and checked on frequently. We ordered the cheese bread, artichoke ravioli, & meatballs as appetizers...the cheese bread was my favorite! I had NO idea that Katie's had lunch specials as I didn't see them listed on the website, so I was very happy to be able to get a giant salad and a nice portion of pasta for only $20. The artichoke & asparagus salad was really unique - I loved the goat cheese and pistachio combo. My second course was the lemon paccheri and o m g...the flavors here were top notch. I've only had apps & pizza here in the past, but I don't know if I see myself ordering anything other than this lemon pasta going forward! It was difficult to not lick the plate as I forked half of the pasta into a to-go box! Finished off the meal with the affogato which was good but not the best I've ever had - not sure I would get that again for the price of $13 but still a nice, decadent way to end the meal. I hope coming here will become an annual tradition for my team. Our *only* complaint is that we felt very rushed with apps coming out as we were trying to order entrees, salads coming out while we were still eating apps, and entrees coming out while we were mid-salad. I will chalk that up to it being the busy holiday season and them wanting to turnover a larger table for the next group. Would definitely return to this location in the future!

Very delicious! I tried the caramelle pastas, arancini, and the artichokes. Everything was perfect. I also had their version of a negroni which was very good. It seemed like a large pour to me but that's ok because I was able to keep it to one cocktail. Our waitress seemed a bit annoyed by our group. Maybe it was her last table of the night. She wasn't rude. But she wasn't overly friendly. It's not a requirement. Just made me feel like I was doing something wrong haha. It was pretty loud in the restaurant which made my group contribute to the loudness so maybe that was it. We were seated in a nice little nook in the corner which was very nice! I'm from out of town but would love to visit Katie's Pizza again!

Enjoyed our outing to Katie's! Came in on a Tuesday night for an early birthday for my mom before a show. Definitely recommend making a reservation to be safe and glad that I did. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. Since the weather was nice, we opted to sit outside. The patio had a cover which was nice to help cut through any breeziness. Our server was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. We shared a few things, the fried artichoke salad, black spaghetti, and roasted chicken pizza. The food was all great! It was my first time having fried artichoke and it went really well with the goat cheese and pistachios. The scallops with the black spaghetti were cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious (perfect for dunking the pizza crust into ) The sauce carried just a little bit of heat from the Calabrian chilis but was very manageable. My favorite part of the pizza was the roasted garlic, hands down, but the creaminess of the cheese was a close second. The portions weren't super large but just the right amount for the sharing that we did between the two of us. If we had had time, we could've split a dessert too. Maybe next time!

Have been to other Katie's Pizza locations but first time in this one. The service was prompt and friendly. High ceilings and long narrow dining room. Doesn't feel as cozy as their other location in Town and Country. We started with our usual order of Eggplant Parmesan appetizer which we shared between 3 of us and still had some leftover. This is one of the best eggplant parmesans I've ever tasted and it's why we keep coming back for it. The Margarita Pizza is always delish and we decided to try a new salad and ordered a salad that had squash and figs but I didn't love it. It was just okay IMO.

Revisited Katie's for the first time in a few years to celebrate a family member's birthday and was happy to see they have stayed consistently busy since the last time dining in. Sat inside due to high heat but the new (to me) patio looked very inviting. After drinks from the wide variety menu; we all shared the Bread Service, several entrees and a couple desserts. Everything was tasty and wonderful quality.

We came for our first brunch here and were not disappointed! Been plenty of times for lunch or dinner, but this was a new experience. All of the food was delicious and the coffee, cold brew and strawberry fields drink were great as well. We had a reservation for the patio and got to enjoy some great weather and service. Having the curtains around there makes it nice and the heaters balance it out perfectly. Our server did a great job keeping our drinks full and helping answer questions!

Wow. What an astonishing visit, one that raises questions- chiefly, if this kind of food is possible, why haven't more places been cooking like this? Truly outstanding food. I don't know about you, but my experience with suburban strip mall Italian has been nowhere near this good. Our group's order included Burrata Arancini Squash blossom Fried artichoke Tortellini Ravioli Other pasta that I'm blanking on but it still haunts my mind like the echo of a great concert I went to years ago. All on a delightful patio with a sharp team on their game. We were well accommodated. It is markedly pricier than most other Italian places, and it is also markedly better than most other Italian places. There's something truly special about the ability to make breakthroughs like this in such an established category- it's like someone found a way to make a movie that communicated the true spirit of Christmas- you've heard of it happening, but that was years ago. And now someone has gone and done it again. Except with fried rice balls and decadent fresh cheese.

The last review in my Katie's era (for now lol). I came here for lunch after working out across the street at orange theory. It's so convenient on a Saturday or Sunday and a great treat after you get a great workout in. My friend and I sat on the patio. It was just her and I and we had no problem getting a table. However, many of the tables outside had reserved on them, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. We ordered wine first which is always fabulous from Katie's. Their wine selection isn't huge but the ones they have are always great. They always have a house option that is super affordable and super good. For food, I ordered the watermelon salad which is one of my seasonal favorites! It's a huge slab of watermelon (ripe- can always count on it to be!) with feta, Kalamata olives, mint, pine nuts, and balsamic. It is such a delicious combination of flavors. It's refreshing and full of different textures. I love it. We also ordered bread service which is always a hit. Keeping it simple with the apps makes it classic!

When I come back to St. Louis, Italian food's on my mind and it lands my stomach pretty quickly. This time, a friend suggested Friday lunch at Katie's. Great choice. Our party of three chose to eat at the bar, bypassing the growing crowd waiting for tables. Service was friendly and attentive. I was impressed with the quality of beers offered and enjoyed an IPA from the local heads at Modern Brewing. I buried my head in the menu and almost forgot we came for pizza, settling on one of several enticing pastas--Fiori arrabiata--before remembering why I came. Innovative dishes abound. The Meatball pie looked delicious. It delivered. (Please don't tell anyone I ate a pizza with pine nuts) Crust was thin in the Neapolitan vein, with a light crisp and burnt edges Meatballs paired well with the sauce, which was just okay. I barely noticed piñon. Ingredient quality impressed across the board. My friends were beaming after a massive salad and roasted chicken pizza, repectively. The place felt open and airy from our barstool perch above the dining area. Conversation was easy, despite the ongoing lunch rush. Peccadillo: It's expensive. Not familiar with Denver's inflated prices spiked with service fees, my friend warned me Katie's was on the pricey side. At first glance, the pizzas seemed in step with Mile High meal prices. $22 isn't cheap, but the quality, taste and second meal justify this. Calamari app for $25? No, thanks. I love a good bolognese, but not for $34... Even on vacation. Katie's serves up eclectic, innovative quality in a clean, bright setting. Four stars.

Always get their kombucha cause it's my favorite!!!! Their margarita pizza is my personal favorite but the chicken pizza is always good with red pepper flakes!!! Love their pasta as well if you haven't tried their lunch combo u need to come!!! Staff is always amazing and location is great, lots of sunshine on the outside I prefer the patio seat than inside. I'm a regular will definitely come back again!!!

Everything went super well!! We had tables & we all enjoyed the service coming to town from Chicago!!! Nice choice for an outting!!! LIVE music & all!!! Highly recommended, especially for a group!!!

Excellent pizzas and service! I called ahead to see if we can bring a cake for a celebration, and they welcomed it with open arms and even offered plates and utensils (although I brought my own and pre-cut the cake for ease of serving). They do get very busy, reservation (via Resy) is highly recommended. The crust on the pizza is so fantastic, you can throw anything on top and I will eat it. Some of my favorites are Black Garlic & Artichoke ($21), Pancetta & Fig ($22) Truffle ($36). Famous Fried Artichokes $16 - Excellent appetizer, best fried artichokes around. I was in town for the holiday with family and Katie's is one of their favorites. We made reservations for their outdoor patio, which is heated. It wasn't too busy when we got there but it was completely full shortly after. It was really loud and a bit hard to hear in the ourdoor seating area. We decided to get a bunch of things to split. For appetizers we got the brussel sprouts agrodolce and the famous fried artichoke salad (cheese on the side). Both were fantastic! The brussel sprouts sauce was unique with a ton of flavor. Then we split the Black Spaghetti, the Roasted Chicken pizza and Ezzo Pepperoni pizza. These were all excellent. The pasta was buttery with hints of lemon. The pizza crust was thin but airy. Pepperoni was a sweet spicy combo and the Roasted Chicken had a herby fresh flavor. It was great and I would come back. Overall experience 4/5.

Four of us met for lunch and were given the brunch/lunch menu. As we were deciding what to have, our server came over and informed us we could also order off the regular menu. I'm not sure why we didn't have that option from the beginning, but we were happy to have even more choices! We made our decisions and placed our orders and I finally looked around. I hadn't been to this location before, but I've been to the Town and Country location many times. It's crazy how different the vibe is between the two, but I like them both! There were a number of people in the restaurant - inside and out - but it wasn't packed. The staff kept up with clearing tables and getting them ready for the next guests. Most of the staff seemed to be hustling and getting it done. Our drinks and food were tasty! I'd go back to this location

Katie's needs no introduction but I hadn't been in years. It was bustling on a Friday night despite the rain. Our wait got messed up by having us down for a 2 top when we actually had 3, but they remedied and we were seated quickly thereafter. The patio was crowded but lively! The tomato burrata caprese was amazing. The tomatoes were gigantic. The black garlic and artichoke pizza was delicious. We were skeptical about the addition of the honey but they knew what they were doing. The tiramisu was good, wasn't the best I'd ever had but we cleaned the plate no problem. Server was awesome and attentive. Great spot for a Friday evening, but be prepared to talk loudly as it is noisy. Not great if you're looking for cozy/intimate for talking.

Came here on Saturday 8/10 and was served the most disgusting excuse for a pizza I ever been served. Definitely was not cooked in the center and couldn't even pick up a slice without everything sliding immediately off. The server told me this is how their pizza is normally and that they could remake it (not an option cause the host told us we had to leave by a certain time for another reservation) or she could bring me a fork. Didn't recieve the meal comp'd or any type of discount on my bill so please tell me, would you pay $23 for the pizza in the following pictures? Will not be back and I'm encouraging anyone else thinking of coming here to rethink their decision unless you want to be sick!

I was wondering what the hype is about this place. I even heard people saying this place their favorite! So I wanted to check out. Figured, just another overrated place in St.Louis. First of all, we didn't make a reservation and they told us the wait time is 20-30 min. After 45 min we had to stand by the host and remind her we were in line, bc she kept giving other couples (who came way after us) tables. So their wait list doesn't work properly. We came here around 6.30pm and we were finally able to place our orders at 8pm. Service was very slow, even if the restaurant wasn't busy anymore. Lots of butter on pastas, just butter. Only flavor was lemon zest, so it could help neutralizing the heavy taste of butter, but this thing needs more help than that. Calamari wasn't fresh, it was chewy and deep frying is a way to cover that fault. Their Oregon Pinot Nero tasted like vinegar. Second one was a different Nero from somewhere else (this is what they told us) and it was much better. Btw, their heated outdoor patio is nice. Paying $130+tax (for 2) for this food experience is not nice.

I really want to give this place 1 star because it has completely ruined me for authentic Italian food! Holy freaking cow!! The Lemon pasta (with chicken) was absolutely amazing: Light, creamy and to die for! The pizza was made from incredibly fresh ingredients, including a delightful pepperoni that had a nice fresh kick and was cooked perfectly! To Think this place sits in the ballpark district and is dishing out this kind of food is just unreal. We finished the night with a tiramisu that was...unworldly! The rum-soaked lady fingers with the espresso topping and fresh strawberries were the perfect end for a delicious dinner. Daniel, our waiter, was the actual bomb! Check this place out and eat here regularly. My mind and tastebuds have been blown! Well done Katie's, well done!

I came to visit my boyfriend in Saint Louis from Texas and his mom suggested going to Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria since she thought that it would be a fun vibe for us kids in our early 20s. She was right! The vibe was very cute, we sat outside and the patio was decorated really nicely and the staff was very kind which added to the atmosphere. The waitress suggested for drinks to try the "Lifeaholic" cocktail drink. She said that this was her favorite drink and that if I liked fruity drinks it would be a great order. I am so glad that I took her advice, because it was one of the best drinks that I have had in a while! I even took a photo of the drink on the menu so I could try to recreate it when I got home. It contained blackberry-infused Pimms, lemon, simple syrup, and fresh black tea. For food we split the wood-roasted chicken pizza which was very delicious and the arugula reginette. Of the two, I enjoyed the pizza better as it had a good mix of garlic, goat cheese, chicken, and greens! The pasta was good, but not the best of the items that I ordered. Consider going to Katies for good food and drinks!

I chose Katie's for a business lunch last week and it didn't disappoint. The weather looked to beautiful so I made a patio reservation. While it was perfect patio weather, it was great that the host checked to see if I still wanted to sit outside. My server introduced herself right away and got me an iced tea while I waited for my colleague. Ruby was friendly and upbeat and frequently checked in on us during our visit. We chose to split the chopped salad and margherita pizza. Both were so delicious. First, the chopped salad at Katie's is one of my favorite in St. Louis. It offers the right combination of ingredients as well as the right portions. And the amount of dressing is perfect. The margherita pizza is such a simple dish, yet so flavorful. My colleague raved about the food! Plus, we had enough to take food home. Katie's is always a great choice!

This is a very busy, bustling, noisy environment. So many hard surfaces so it's an acoustically live space. We were in on a Tuesday night at 6p and got the word about several menu items they were out of including anything with truffles. So after figuring out what we wanted and placing our order minus the "list of unavailable items" the server came back from the kitchen with the news they were also out of Brussels sprouts.... The food we did get was good tho in some cases not our first choice and the service was acceptable. Prices here are pretty high in my opinion for what it is... and drink prices are high. I think it will be a while before we return... Who wants to go some place that is out of multiple things at 6p on a Tuesday night and pay over $50/pp?

Great meal at Katie's!! I was shocked how busy this place was (on a Tuesday night) definitely recommend making a reservation! The pasta is so so flavorful and delicious. The hot honey pizza was also perfect! The crust was not too soft and not too hard. It had a nice bite to it. The flavors paired perfectly. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere. Nothing out of the ordinary. Clean and provided lots of seating (patio and inside). I will be going back!

Great all around, a staple in my rotation of restaurants. I always take friends and family, it is comfortable and there is a good bar.

I can only recommend Katie's if you like to pair $32 pasta dishes with Rave/EDM music blaring so loud you can't hear the people at your table. It was also nice watching one of the staff constantly chewing their fingernails too. Overpriced, loud and pretentious? Or trying too hard to be the Rock and Roll cool restaurant?

Always guaranteed to have some good food at Katie's! We came for a birthday dinner and all the food was delicious. The birthday donuts were also yummy. The service was great as always. The front has a nice heated patio and cute lights. Only downside is this location is a little small and cramped compared to the other locations.

Katie's is a treat. We had the Cannellini Bean Dip to start and shared a bottle of the house red. The pizza crust for dipping is always just...perfectly soft and warm. For dinner, We had the Fiori Arrabiatta and added the meatballs (pro tip) and the Apple and Speck pizza. Both were incredible and the service from Justin was top notch.

We had a work dinner with a few ladies at Katie's this week and it never disappoints. The ambience really adds to the experience with the lighting and intentional decor. They have a variety of mocktails, which I'm always thankful for! With dry January and a pregnant friend in the bunch, we all had a different mocktail and they were all excellent. I've never had anything from Katie's that I didn't love. We had the fried artichokes which were amazing. We split several entrees, including the black spaghetti, which is my favorite. We finished with their donuts which had the best texture. They were crispy out the outside but the perfect light and fluffy texture on the inside. Always a favorite and will be back soon!

Someone posted about how amazing this place was on Facebook. Since I'm new here. Why not?!?!? The salad was the only good thing. The Fried Artichoke Salad was delicious. The pasta dishes were by far the blandest meal I've ever had. Chicken severely overcooked. It was just shocking. The waiter was amazing and took the food away and we settled on pizza bcus we just wasn't going to wait any longer or try anything else after that. The pizza did what we needed and that was to eat. Sadly I can't say that I'd return.

Made a reservation for 2 and we were taken to our table right away. Food was excellent, a bit pricey for St. Louis but all delicious and server told us most menu items are made in-house. The breading on the arancini was very fine and the pita and pizza were baked to absolute perfection. Ambiance is great for a date or just a nice night out with friends. Restaurant interior is pretty dim but tables were spaced out enough so that things weren't too noisy. Guests were dressed both casually and a little nicer. Highly recommend!

Honestly, Katie's is one of my top two favorite food spots in STL. The food is consistently divine, and the service and ambiance always makes me happy. I can't get enough of the fresh, amazing quality of seasonal ingredients cooked simply to make them shine. I love the eclectic feel of the place, the slight smell of wood oven roasting food, being able to see the food prep area and dining on delicious food with some amazing cocktails. The price is a little bit higher than my usual average meal, but it is totally worth the splurge. It's not outrageously priced. I just have to plan my budget for that month's entertainment... partly because it's hard to decide what to order! I want it all!!! I was in Italy several years ago, and the dining experience at Katie's always takes me right back there in a heartbeat. It's La Dolce Vita in STL!

Went here for the first time on Saturday, 12 Oct. we were seated right away. The place looks a bit swanky. My friend and I ordered some oysters, calamari and some pasta. Our waiter was attentive and the food was good. But....my friend and I were both on the toilet all night after having ate there. We're thinking it might've been the oysters...

A Delicious Brunch Experience! My friends and I had the pleasure of dining at Katies for brunch this past Saturday, and it was nothing short of fantastic. We were lucky to snag a table on the charming patio, thanks to our reservation - a tip I highly recommend. Now, let's talk about the food. It was incredible, as always. I've dined at Katies several times, and I've never had a bad meal there. This time, we ordered the Potato Pizza and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The flavors were a symphony for the taste buds, and the portions left us satisfied but not overly stuffed. To complement our meal, I ordered the "Strawberry Field of Dreams" cocktail, which was an absolute delight. Muddled strawberries, Pinckney Bend Gin, Chambord, lemon, and rose simple syrup combined into a refreshing and subtly sweet concoction. It was the perfect pairing for our brunch. The attentive service, delightful ambiance on the patio, and consistently delicious food keep me coming back to Katies. It's a gem of a brunch spot that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Cheers to the team at Katies for always delivering excellence!

Amazing flavors, great pasta and pizza! Go with someone so you can share meals, you'll want to taste some of everything! Wait staff is amazing and attentive.

Always fabulous food and the service is terrific. I would be prepared at busy times to plan that the noise level is very high and tough for larger groups or older folks to hear.

Katie's was a good happy medium between casual and upscale dining. I will say, the pricing is definitely more "upscale" but the food is very good. I would typically prefer a more upscale atmosphere for their price points. The space is pretty busy with a bar with TVs and dim lighting. Service was A+ though. Our server, and other staff, were incredibly attentive without being intrusive. The food was very delicious. We got a burrata as an appetizer but were surprised/disappointed to find out it was a just pizza with burrata on it which was a weird appetizer considering we all got pizzas as entrees. We were expecting a burrata dip type deal. It was good, though. The actual pizzas were even better. My favorite part of the meal was actually dessert - do not sleep on the pistachio gelato. So good.

We don't come here very often, but we are never disappointed when we do go. To be honest, the pizza is kind of fru fru pizza. To clarify, it's more gourmet pizza than traditional. Every now and then, I just need a good fruit fruit pizza. On this occasion we got a pear and ham pizza. The crust is always delicious and the toppings definitely made the pizza feel gourmet. The combo of flavors and texture were really nice. Definitely something different Besides the pizza, the artichoke appetizer is a MUST. I could probably just eat those for a meal...they are dang good!!! My suggestion overall....Do it!!!

I really don't understand the positive reviews. Pizza is mediocre at best, and extremely overpriced for what you get. Will not return.
