If you crave Korean style Donkatsu in the Fort Lee area, then don’t go anywhere besides Kataune. Katsune surely knows how to season and fry that thick piece of pork cutlet. The dipping sauce pairs so well with the katau and the salad supplements meal so well. That pickled onion was just okay though. Katune just serves one menu : katsu and its derivatives. It’s their secret behind their high quality of katsu, but their lack of diverse menu options somewhat unsatisfying. That’s why I often opted for takeout. In summary, Katsune is probably the best katsu restaurant west of Hudson River in the tristate area.

Google
Katsu was crispy outside and not dry inside. The wine-colored-hair waitress was very kind 🌈 It would be better if they could spend some effort on dining experiences. Maybe better interior design, decorations, and lighting. The takeaway boxes were exposed outside and I felt I was eating dinner at a factory.

Tried all menus, including original, curry, cheese, sweet potato, and wang. Food is mediocre and but overpriced, not any special than menu served in other restaurants. Door has not been fixed for YEARS altho it could pose serious danger to young kids/elderly. Store's fault 100% if/when someone gets injured, which will be in near future if not addressed. Subpar atmosphere in store; very messy and cleanliness nowhere to be seen. No dine in offered with kitchen view not available. Recommend 2/10. Reply to owner: Door is very difficult for customers to open. Couple customers I saw today assumed store is closed and went to another. I had to call the business manually to see it's open today. If the doors hit someone on head, it's a big issue.

Google
We got the Cheese Donkatsu and Shrimp Katsu. Even though we did takeout and the food sat through a 20 minute car ride, it was still pretty intact. The crisp on these menu items was on point. Also really appreciated how everything was packaged so well and clean! We also got a side of curry which they charged $4 for but we probably wouldn’t get it again. We preferred the different sauces provided with the menu items. We’ll definitely be back for more fried goodness!

Google
Ordered for takeout — SO good! We got the pork, beef, shrimp, curry, and the other sauce. The sides of rice are huge (plus the meals come with rice, which we didn’t know). The meat was so tender and the crust was so crispy. The pork was truly amazing. The serving sizes are also amazing for the price. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
This spot is a gem!!! Highly recommend eating in person to have the immediate crispy hot bites and cheese pulls🥰 we got the cheese donkatsu and the original. The original was so crispy and juicy!! Definitely coming back for all the katsu cravings :)

Google
This hole in the wall came with multiple recommendations and scored immediate 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟! Perfectly cooked all the way thru as all porks should be with perfectly fried outside in definitely fresh oil to looks and taste. This is definitely home made bread crumbs done to perfection. Many tries and disappointment everywhere and this place stood out in quality, size and price. The "Wang Donkatsu" was enough for two person to share in no frills setting. For me? I rather have good quality, size than fancy settings with dripping oil and or under or over cooked donkatsu and throw in a reasonable price? This place will hit everyone' fancy. This is my "go to & funderful spot!"

Google
I went there only one time but liked their very crispy Katsu or cutlets and want to go again someday. We had Chicken Katsu and Shrimp Katsu. They give us a huge portion with a relatively cheaper price. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Small, no-nonsense shop that specializes in donkatsu, or fried, breaded pork cutlet. Donkatsu is the Korean version of Japanese Tonkatsu. Donkatsu is thinner and crispier but equally tasty! This place basically has donkatsu, and various other fried things like cheese katsu, shrimp katsu, chicken katsu. A katsu meal comes with rice, dipping sauce and a korean salad (basically coleslaw). Portions are large and the meat is nice and crispy and juicy. The restaurant itself has a counter where you pick up your food, only a few small tables, and as of this past summer, one outdoor table. But it's very easy to take to go as well.

Elaine W.

Yelp
I believe I came across this cafe through social media, but I had the intention of dining in when I made it a purpose to try this place. When I walked in, there were only about 3-4 small tables, so you can immediately notice that their business is heavily involved in more take-out than dine-in. Even so, that did not take away from our dine-in experience. The staff was super nice, the food was really good and surprisingly reasonably priced. Although my curry katsu is fried, it still did not feel heavy. I really liked the food and would like to come back if I am ever in the area again.

Yelp
After a recent takeout experience, I am updating my review to reflect the negative food experience that I had compared to the previous (many!) takeout instances. Per my family's usual, we got an order of Wang donkatsu and was sorely disappointed at how soggy and greasy the donkatsu was this time around, especially given that I had previously rated the restaurant at 5 stars because of the fact that the fried cutlet was crispy and light (in terms of greasiness), even after a 30-ish minute drive. In addition, the Wang sauce, which is made in-house, lacked the depth and richness in flavor that was its trademark. The consistency was similar, but the flavor was just salty and completely not the same as what we had come to expect from the sauce. It's possible that this was a one-time fluke, or it may be the case that they are putting more effort into their second location that opened in the Little Ferry Hmart -- according to my brother who ate from there recently, it was reminiscent of what the Wang donkatsu at the Fort Lee location used to be like. Whatever the reason is, the feeling of disappointment that another restaurant has changed for the worst is too real.

Cecilia L.

Yelp
This is rating my delivery experience for the katsune donkatsu which is the pork katsu, it was fried just right, the meat was perfectly tender and very meaty for what you get! Highly reco checking them out

Rainey C.

Yelp
The batter for the katsu is sooo flaky and thin and amazing. So crispy and not overly oily or heavy. I love the sesame dressing that comes with the cabbage salad, as well as the pickled radishes. Solid lunch option and very generous portions.

Jackson W.

Yelp
A great place to pick up some good quality katsu. I like their katsu because their meat to batter ratio is very good. A lot of places will use a super thin piece of pork or chicken and then smother it in way too much batter where you barely taste the meat. Katsune doesn't do that. Their pork and chicken katsu use thick cuts of meat and the batter is light and crispy. Their wang sauce goes great with the katsu. Though the curry is pretty good as well.

Rai K.

Yelp
I ubered from across the bridge just to try this place, and they are closed. The sign says they are closed every tuesday?? Why is this not updated on googlemaps or yelp or literally anywhere? I wasted a lot of money to come for no reason. Im so disappointed.

Sonia K.

Yelp
I got the number 1 and it was incredibly delicious! I've never eaten at the location but have eaten their takeout a few times. This is the go-to donkatsu place. Even with takeout, the katsu was still crispy and yummy. They give you pickled onions and peppers as well which go well with the meal!

Bevano L.

Yelp
Came here with high expectation cause of the solid reviews. I'll say that overall, they are good but not the best. Don't get me wrong, their batter is nice and light, better than other katsu that I've tasted in US. However, they could have gotten a better piece of meat (fattier) and it's a little over fried for my liking (it's a little dry). If they fix that, it will be the bomb! My gold standard is the Katsu that I had in Tokyo which check all the boxes but also more expensive than this. At least this one is priced good. Cheese katsu is different. Tasted like fancier version of mozzarella stick. Their sauce is a little strong. I put just a little on my katsu in order not to overwhelm the meat.

Juju K.

Yelp
Wow, Katsune lived up to expectation. The batter was so light and crispy. I ordered chicken and it was tender, not tough and rubbery. My sister got the shrimp katsu and it was pretty good too. Maybe I'll try pork katsu next time. The tempura coating seems shredded rather than granular, which could be what makes it so light and airy. The katsu meal comes with rice (perfectly cooked), sauce(more about it later), cabbage salad, and veggie pickles in soy vinegar (jalapeño, onion, chayote). Cabbage salad dressing was mayo based with slight mustardy taste and a hint of ketchup I think. It was pretty good. I liked the pickles but missed kimchi. I wasn't loving their donkatsu sauce though. I found it too salty, strong in flavor and too tangy. But their tender, crispy katsu makes up for it. They do have seating but it's more of a quick eat and go or take out kind of place. Not much of an atmosphere here. I wish the dine in food comes on plate instead of in to-go containers. I'll definitely get cravings for their katsu in the near future. There goes my triglyceride level!

Michelle O.

Yelp
My first time trying Korean katsu and it was pretty good! They have a few (2-3) parking spots for customers, but were occupied when I went. We had to find another spot to park. Cheese donkatsu - it's like a huge melty, mozzarella stick. The batter of this katsu is light and crispy unlike the typical heavier breadcrumb breading of mozzarella sticks. While the exterior is perfect, I felt the cheese was a little plain. It's certainly interesting and my first time trying this, but I probably wouldn't order this again. Katsune donkatsu - again, their breading is perfect. Super light and crunchy. However, I felt like the meat was a little dry and tough. A fattier cut of meat would have taken this to another level. I might be back to try their Wang Donkatsu. Hopefully it will be juicier than the Katsune.

Yelp
Best katsus I've ever had is from this place. Portion sizes are super filling! I cannot rave about this place enough. My new favorite is their shrimp. The shrimps are massive and they give you 6!!! That's a hefty portion! Seating is limited indoors, and super casual. Service is pretty quick.

Karina A.

Yelp
Love this place! My favorite tonkatsu as it's super generous serving and the meat is super tender! It's my favorite because of how flaky and crispy the meat is! Definitely get the wang sauce as it makes it taste 100% better!!! It's like gravy but better. This is more of takeout place but there are limited seats! Food comes out super fast!

Chris S.

Yelp
No where else but here will I get Katsu from now on. Better than Bunsiknara! I ordered the chicken katsu for $13.50. The chicken katsu was delicious, very tender, fluffy, and filling. The sauces provided went well together. For a pay up front type of places, I didn't expect them to give us small banchan. The banchan was ok in taste but I appreciate the sentiment. My two friends also ordered curry katsu and chicken katsu and enjoyed their orders a lot. Parking in this area is a bit tricky and it's a bit out of the way from fort Lee Main Street. I'd park for an hour and then head somewhere else. There is not much seating though we didn't have issues getting a table on a late weekday night. The staff were very friendly. This is a good casual spot to gather.

Rena Y.

Yelp
The shrimp was really good ! Pretty crispy and good quality meat! I would eat this place take out though because it was insanely hot inside I don't think their AC works

Manasa A.

Yelp
First time here and amazed by the food. It is a small cafe sort of with just a couple of tables to sit.The food comes in to go containers . The food is delicious. The cutlet is so good. The curry is perfectly spiced and tasty. Loved each and everything we had.My new go to spot. The service is very quick and efficient. Give it a try if you are in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Grateful to find this treasure in the middle of Fort Lee! Worth the drive from NY to Fort Lee just for this. Best Katsu I had so far in the US, hands down. Simple menu and smooth ordering process at the counter, and get seated at our own convenience. We had the Chicken Katsu and the Menchi Katsu. The exterior fried crust was super crispy, thin, and fluffy. It was the perfect texture, and not too oily either. It came with vegetables, rice, and sauce as well. One thing I would recommend is call before arriving, it did take about 15 mins to get the order ready, which also mean the katsu were fried fresh as soon as we ordered. But definitely worth the wait. First of all, ton of praises for the Chicken Katsu, and it was chicken breast. While it was fried, the chicken tasted like it was slow cooked. SUPER tender and juicy. I did not expect that at all for chicken breast, pleasantly surprised! The Menchi Katsu, was also amazing where the minced beef and pork had a good smell of meat fat and was extremely juicy. The only small thing to critique is the sauce that came with the Katsu was a little salty. I would recommend getting something less salty of a sauce to go with the katsu if available when trying this out. Overall, absolutely stunning.

Hans L.

Yelp
I dont usually leave reviews for donkatsu spots because my standards are so high for donkatsu and feel it isn't fair for me to leave a review for business owners. But let me tell you OMG~ THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! I had the pork katsu with curry. The pork was cooked to perfection, the deep fried crisp married with the perfectly cook meat is bliss. Your not coming here because of the service or ambiance but just for the katsu that is cooled to perfection. If katsu is on your top 5 food list just like me, you need to stop by and try their food~ strongly recommend

Christina S.

Yelp
I have been passing by this place for the last few months and have been wanting to try it. I especially love establishments that focus on their craft, and nothing else. And this place has exactly that. The perfect katsu spot in Fort Lee! We ordered the pork cutlet Katsu and the chicken cutlet Katsu to go. Both dishes were made promptly, came with some pickled vegetables, steamed rice, dipping sauce, and a cabbage/coleslaw salad. Everything was delicious. It's well priced, and the portions are abundant. What I especially loved is that everything was perfectly crisp at home, as if we were eating it there in the establishment. If you are thinking about eating inside, there are about 6-8 tables. It's not fancy, just a chill place with excellent food. We will absolutely be return customers.!

Jason K.

Yelp
Never disappoint! I highly recommend the curry port cutlet. The portion has been reduced because the price stayed the same. My family always gets the first one that's on the menu and the curry to share.

Janice H.

Yelp
Looks very unassuming but super solid katsu place. Lots of nice crispy panko breading and well-seasoned meat inside. I got the chicken katsu and my friend got the wang (aka king-sized) katsu. The gravy that the large one came with was like crack to me - super umami flavor without being too salty or overpowering somehow. I expected the chicken in my katsu to be somewhat dense and a bit dry (typically my experience with chicken katsus) but it was quite tender, and almost flaky, the way it fell apart. Food was ready quickly (15-20 mins)! Very smooth takeout experience and delicious.

H P.

Yelp
The pork cutlet meat is too thin and the oil is not fresh. It used to be delicious, but it seems to have changed a lot.

April L.

Yelp
Absolutely the best fluffy donkatsu ever. So glad this place is close to me. We got number 1 and 6. But any of the donkatsu is great! The breading isn't hard and rocky, it's perfectly fluffy crunchy. When you pour the curry sauce, the pork cutlet is magically soaked but not soggy. This place just never fails in that. There's indoor seating now, and plenty of outdoor seating. Street parking available, or there's the parking lot available in the island triangle. The menu may seem dull but this is some quality donkatsu. #favorite

Mel Z.

Yelp
We went to H Mart and saw this cafe, after checked on Yelp, see the food pictures look yummy, we decided to try it. We ordered Wang katsu and katsune tokatsu. I was blown away because the pork katsu was tender, the crumbs was crispy and soft, it won't make your gum raw. The Wang katsu was big portion and loved the sauce. Did I mention the pickle? The pickle was amazing it was crunchy not to sour. Even my difficult eater boy loves the pork, he ate so much of the cutlets. The great things about this place, the cutlets left over we airfry the next day, the crumbs still soft not hard. Unlike others katsu. I don't know how they do that. I will come and eat at this place again! The downside parking kinda difficult. We didn't expect much when we came inside the cafe because it was empty at lunch time (around 1pm). And this is the first time I write review this long!

Amelia S.

Yelp
Drove by this place a few times, so I finally stopped in. It's much cuter on the outside than on the inside. I was surprised to find it was more of a pick up place although there are seats inside. It feels like a fast food joint. The menu is limited and the prices are OK compared to other curry shops where you might be paying $20+ per dish. Got the classic curry and tonkatsu dish. The serving size was small. Just one piece of meat about the size of a small palm. Came with a shredded cabbage salad with light mustard dressing that was just OK. The pickles were kind of oldish looking/tasting. Probably would not return unless I lived in the area and was not in the mood to cook.

Thein S.

Yelp
Great food. Katsu is crispy and tasty. Located inside H mart. Seating can be an issue when it is crowded.

Kathryn P.

Yelp
Let me just say that this place def serves the best donkatsu in NJ. Donkatsu pork is super tender and juicy and coated with super airy (almost weightless) but crispy panko breading makes you forget that you are eating something that is super heavy. We ordered a side of house made curry and dipped the katsu into it. The housemade curry has perfect consistency and has variety of veggies. It coats the katsu pieces and add amazing flavor but it is also good to pour over the rice as well while dipping the katsu in the katsu sauce which works equally well. My husband ordered cheese katsu and omg it is absolutely amazing! When it first came out, I was afraid that cheese might be too overpowering and too heavy but gooey and smooth mozarella cheese worked insanely well with katsu. DEF GET THIS! AND DEF GET THE SIDE OF CURRY!! there are maybe 3 tables in so you could order and pay for your dishes and grab a table to enjoy this beautiful meal.

Angie Y.

Yelp
Donkatsu is just okay. It's tasty but doesn't come out piping hot and the food is served very food court style for non food court prices. All dishes are served in to go containers even if you dine in. A tonkatsu meal will cost you around $20 and comes with a little thing of rice and some cabbage slaw. Very self service type of operation, you walk in, order and then sit down and grab your food. Inside venue is also not super clean. Overall if you're craving donkatsu this place isn't bad, it satisfies your cravings but isn't mind blowing.

Krystal L.

Yelp
If you watch mukbang videos, you KNOW that they always eat cheese katsu!!! It has been one of my foodie bucketlist items to try it, and thanks to my boyfriend, I finally got to! Super super authentic katsu place. It's served Korean style (no curry) with a bowl of rice, side salad and picked vegetables. You can order curry if you'd like though. I recommend getting the classic katsu and the cheese katsu to share with another person. Let me just say, I was the happiest fatty on earth when I ate my cheese katsu! You have to try it! I will be bringing all my friends here from now on :)

M P K.

Yelp
Was visiting Fort Lee area, got hungry, so searched for a tonkatsu place and found Katsune. Reviews looked good enough, so drove to the place. When entering the place, let's all be honest, unless you been here before, for the first timers it does not look good, just few tables with a divider to cover up bunch of boxes. My friend and I thought we made a mistake...but were hungry so said lets just order and sit down. It happened to be THE best tonkatsu I EVER had in my life - "Wang tonkatsu" and Wang sauce is out of this world! Who cares about the decors/ambiance when food taste this good! I would definitely go back when I am back in Pal Park/Fort Lee area next time.

Danny K.

Yelp
Stopped by this place because I was craving some Donkatsu. I was surprised they had Cheese Donkatsu, and definitely ordered it! The good: The Cheese Donkatsu was crispy, and most definitely cheesy! Really enjoyed the combination of the texture, and would certainly order it again. The bad: I wish it consisted of a thicker cut of meat since it's a really thin slice of pork tenderloin. Overall, it was really good for a cheese donkatsu, but definitely could be improved with more meat to balance out the thickness of the cheese. Would definitely come back to try their regular Katsune Donkatsu.

Sandy T.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday afternoon, parking was not bad. Some metered spots in the front and some free parking on the sides of the restaurant. They had a few customers eating indoors and plenty of take out orders lined up. We opted to eat in since we wanted it super fresh. They still package it as if you're taking out which is nice in case you didn't finish it all. Ordered chicken katsu and the curry katsu don. The panko was so light and crispy, it was so different from other katsu places. It didn't feel greasy or super heavy. The meats were so moist and juicy even though it was a pretty thin piece of meat. The curry was a nice sweet curry with plenty of potatoes and carrots, it was nice and hearty even without the meat. It's nice because usually the curry is a soupy curry flavored mess but this one could've been it's own meal. If you gave me a bowl of rice with the curry on top, I'll be one happy camper! We finished the meal pretty quickly but I can see how it can get soggy if it was packaged to go or delivered. The bottom of the katsu that was touching the container was getting a little soggy/wet from the warm condensation but that's not even an issue because it just changes the dish a little bit (in a good way). My ONLY qualm is that they don't sell the katsu pieces separately. I really wanted to try the cheese donkatsu but I didn't want the entire meal. They do sell the shrimp pieces separately but not others.

Victoria C.

Yelp
The interior is a very hole in the wall, family owned type restaurant. I wasn't expecting this because the exterior looks very nice. This doesn't bother me but not really a romantic date spot if anyone cares. The katsu prices did go up post covid it seems. Costs are $13.50-18, which is pretty costly for a katsu meal. You get a side cabbage salad, rice, and some pickled onions. I dined in. The katsu to me wasn't super crispy. The batter is pretty thin on the katsu. I got the cheese and the pork katsu & curry. The curry was typical. The pork katsu was soggy on the bottom. The cheese katsu - you can only taste the cheese with zero sauce. Felt pretty oily after two pieces. I was missing the crunch. With the price for 2 katsus being $35, I'd go other places first before I consider going back. Nothing seemed super special. Sodas are 2.50 here

Angelo B.

Yelp
We enjoyed the tonkatsu here and felt that the price was reasonable. Nice and crispy, and really flavorful. We each ordered #1 which comes with 2 pieces, rice, pickled veggies and sauce. Both the sauce and the veggies complimented the pork well. Also tried a side of curry which was also quite flavorful. We were planning on sharing this but it is quite small and probably better for solo use. Free and metered street parking. Service was friendly.

Ina N.

Yelp
Quick Korean boonshik vibe- not so much a sit down and chill restaurant. Food comes in to go boxes. Service was fast. Food was decent, just a donkatsu place.

Allison P.

Yelp
Had to wait 15 minutes but it was definitely worth it. Everything came out super crispy and juicy. Ordered the Cheese Donkatsu and the Katsune Donkatsu, with a side order of curry. Katsu itself was great and loved it with the katsu sauce. Curry was bland and a bit disappointing so I would pass for next time. Also, loved their iced coffee! The interiors were cute and felt very homey. There were tables set up for outdoor dining as well. Overall had a pleasant experience and would definitely come back again!

Vanessa H.

Yelp
Tried multiple times, wang donkatsu portion is so big and quality is also good. Crunchy and I also like their dipping sauce.

Yuna C.

Yelp
Definitely the place to go if you want a looong, cheese pull and crunchy tonkatsu! The inside is small so there is limited seating but it seems that many customers order for pick-up.

Jenny L.

Yelp
I really loved how simple the menu was and how easy it was to order and sit. I also love how you serve/clean up after yourself, makes everything very simple without having to wait on your server. The chicken katsu was really juicy and flaky, much better than the pork imo. The sides they added complimented the katsu perfectly. The curry katsu was very small though and would not be filling (I was expecting it to be the same size as my chicken katsu but it was almost half the size). They also serve boba, and coffee, as well as fresh made milk bread daily. Def worth a try!

Jen K.

Yelp
Was craving Katsu and this place did not disappoint! Sat outside at one of their available tables, and they brought out the order to us when it was ready. Casual local spot, and you order-pay at the counter and your food is packed to go. You can eat it inside or out, just don't expect table service. Ordered the chicken and pork Katsu- breading was so light, meat moist and totally hit the spot. Served with a side of rice, Katsu sauce, slaw and jangjali (Korean soy pickled veg). Highly recommend!

Geyanne L.

Yelp
Superrr crispy katsu- my bf was in love and wanting to come back before we were even finished. I would've liked some more pork in the cheese one but it was still great. Service is fast- take a look at the menu and order before sitting down. There's parking around the corner but the place is pretty small and has about 4 tables. Everything is packaged in takeout containers and curry is separate so your katsu won't get soggy!

Dana C.

Yelp
Tried chicken katsu and curry katsu. Both katsu meat was tender and juicy and crust was crispy and airy but not at all greasy. Only suggestion was that curry could have been stronger (felt a little watered down) but overall excellent. One of the best for katsu!

Chalita P.

Yelp
Haven't had such crunchy Katsu in a long time. I got takeout tonight and we were missing the sauce for the pork so just a reminder to check everything before you leave. When I went everyone (5 different patrons) were getting takeout so because it's a busy night, things can be missed. Shrimp Katsu- Surprisingly I put this one a slight edge over the traditional pork Katsu this time around. Pair it with their sauce and it's mouthwateringly good. Again I don't have enough good things to say about their batter. katsune donkatsu - I can't rate this as high as it's missing the sauce. But eating it by itself it is still good. Still would give it a great rating as the meat is tender and juicy. No need to look further for a great tonkatsu. Taste alone is worth a repeat.

Park S.

Yelp
I ordered Cheese Donkatsu and Katsune Donkatsu. It was average and It's like mom's cooking.

David J.

Yelp
I've ordered from here twice. The Katsune is very good and comparable to Japanese restaurants in the city. I was impressed with the big portion size for a reasonable price. The pick up is quick and easy.

Steph P.

Yelp
Best place for tonkatsu in all of the east coast.. Always get the WANG tonkatsu to get the original Korean style (big and flat with yummy sauce). They give tonkatsu sauce on the side which is also helpful for it not to get soggy. The place is small but clean, and service is fast and easy.

Frenda Y.

Yelp
It is a very casual spot. You pay at the counter and you can take a seat anywhere. They bring the food to you. The Katsu is coated with enough panko crumbs that it has a light crispy taste. The curry is okay, not amazing and not terrible. I got the Katsu curry (curry comes on the side). Next time, I would get just straight Katsu and you can get two slabs of Katsu, rather than 1 with the curry. Service was good and the place was clean. No reservations necessary. Very chill and casual place.

Loanne N.

Yelp
A very underrated unassuming place to grab the most fire katsu. Probably one of the best I've had since going to Japan. Ambiance- Small interior with a few seats around. Very casual ambiance, you order and pay at the counter then they bring you the food. Food - Would highly recommend anything on the menu, the katsu is perfectly crispy but tender on the inside and not dry at all. They have a few bottled drinks available to purchase as well. Would absolutely come out of my way to eat a quick meal here!!! Do not sleep on this place!!!

Yelp
By far, hands down, best katsu in the Bergen area. I've tried abiko and the other chains in Pal Park and they just do not stack up against Katsune. Not even close. The pork and shrimp tempura are phenomenal and the XL is def enough for two meals. It's a small place, but don't worry, you'll enjoy it even if you get it to go. They run out of shrimp quickly by dinner time so get there a bit before the rush.
