What a great hostel! It’s got a very unique style. It’s a smaller hostel and does a good job at fostering connections between those who stay there. The bed cubicles were large and spacious, being larger than the mattress so your bag could be up there with you. The free parking is a huge plus and Maki was even kind enough to back my car in when I was too freaked out to do it myself from the busy street! One downside is that it’s a little far from the city center but a bus stop is just a few steps away from the hostel. I would love to stay here again and hopefully for longer next time.

Wonderful guesthouse that was decorated with love. Our room was the cutest and most beautiful japanese room on our Japan trip so far. The facilities are also very clean and on top of everything, restaurants as well as bus and train station are in walking distance. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great spot, highly recommend to Henro and all others. Close to a lot, not too far to Kochi Station and the main shopping boulevard/ markets. Super nice staff who will hang out to add to the life of the place - easy shower and laundry situation and right next to multiple bus stops.

A nice, chill capsule hotel / hostel. Beds were pretty standard and comfortable and it was quiet at night for sleeping (no noise allowed after midnight). Most guests are Japanese and it's fun to hang out with them in the common room and have a beer at the end of the day. Staff are also very nice, especially Ayumi! Location is walkable to Kochi station but it's a bit far from Hirome and Kochi castle, so you have to take a 20-30 minute bus. They also have a limited number of parking spots so if you're driving, I would advise booking early to reserve a spot, otherwise you have to go find paid parking. Most staff don't speak a lot of English so you may have to use Japanese.

This excellent guesthouse is exactly the place for you if you're on a budget and enjoy a warm, homely vibe and the chance really to get to meet your hosts and other travellers. We loved staying here and would book again in a heartbeat. The bunk beds are very well designed, cosy and private, with good lighting and enough space for your stuff. The shared sitting room and kitchen are really comfortable, especially the kotatsu - an experience not to be missed if you're new to Japan and it's cold outside. Many thanks to our kind host Maki and her family.

Nicely decorated guest house, and clean. Minus at least a star for how incredibly loud the place is, even after asking staff to keep the noise down, the noise will continue through the night (because the house is wooden, every sound seems to be multiplied a lot). Booked this place because I saw a photo of another couple with a young baby and it states suitable for all ages but I really don’t think it’s suitable for infants/babies. Didn’t get any sleep, so it seems too expensive for what you get. You have pay extra for towels too.

We were received with much warmth. It is cosy. We stayed in the well equipped annexe with everything you would want. The showers in the main building were fantastic. A place with style and comfort. Would highly recommend
