Kaufleuten Restaurant (Kultur, Anlässe und Bankette)

Great restaurant! I had to go back during my second visit in Zurich. Here are some pros - Semi casual and fine dine, remember to dress up a bit! - the layout is open and beautiful - scrumptious food. Must be one of the best steak we ever had - friendly and efficient service. They kept the restaurant open way past their opening hours and kept their friendly service. Cons: Price on the higher side, but def worth it. I will definitely visit again in my next visit to Zurich.

As always, Kaufleuten Restaurant has great staff, phantastic atmosphere, delicious food - since decades, + offers rewards for regular guests, such as optional free entry tickets to specific concerts to join, which is really great and appreciated. Things to improve would be: to offer oat milk or other milk alternatives with the coffee (nowadays offered at most places around Zurich city), and that partying afterwards is in any case for free after having dinner. :D

The atmosphere is great the service of the lady speaking 🇫🇷 English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and German 🇩🇪 was amazing .. the drinks 🍸 are well mixed .. the food 🍲 Mezze Selection was so so .. the toppings and sauces are great the rest for chf 29 was nothing to come back for .. we will come back for service and atmosphere

Very nice restaurant with excellent service. We had an amazing time at our dinner. The food was good but for that kind of prices we expected a little bit more. So the prices in General are very high and in my eyes way to much for what you get. So the portions are quite small. It is understandable because it is the Kaufleuten Restaurant which has a long history and everything, but still to much. The rest was phenomenal, nice ambience and superfriendly staff. I can definitely recommend you to go there and enjoy your time.

The Kaufleuten is a place for special occasions. The stylish atmosphere and attentive service create an unforgettable experience. Although the dishes are creative and rather small in portion, they are of high quality and prepared with fresh ingredients. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a business meal if the budget is not a concern.

When you arrive to this kind of restaurant, you can rest assured that the food will be good. The avocado salad was perfect and the tuna main course was exquisite! I definitely would go back just for these servings and to try other items on the menu. The side orders were ok though the French fries were as if straight from McDonald's and the bread was a bit hard and dry served without a butter spread. The service was professional and courteous and the whole place had a nice vibe. Small touches here and there added to the ambiance, e.g. the art work on the menu cover!
