I stayed there while walking Camino Lituano. Friendly staff at the reception took her time to explain everything in English, including the history of the place. Rooms are large, with minimal equipment, but with a vibe that feels like Italy. Be aware however that you can hear almost everything through the corridors, so lower your voice in the evening or at night.

Simple, unfussy accommodation right in the heart of Kaunas. Staff are very friendly and helpful. However, I do feel it is little overpriced as the rooms are very basic but I guess you are paying for the great location right across the road from Kaunas Castle and in the heart of the old town.

Staff super friendly. Rooms simple clean and roomy. I had a big beautiful balcony. Good kitchen to make your own breakfast for example.

I had a room facing the town square. There are bright spotlights that shine right into the room. Although there are curtains this still made for bad sleep. The halls echo so you can her everything in your room, including late night revelers climbing the stairs to their own room. Very friendly staff and very clean room, but the mattress is a piece of thin foam. Love the high ceilings and parquet floors.

This was exactly as expected after reading earlier reviews. Booking.com sent out an automatic message about how the reception might not be open at all times, but it was followed by another, less automatic message about how my selected check-in time of 3PM is accepted. So it was a little bit confusing, but needed no extra action. My one-minute check-in at 3:05 was easy and friendly.||||It's an old building with old plumbing and not very thick walls, so some level of noise is to be expected at almost all hours. Not very loud, but still present. The shower cubicle and the chairs are a little bit more worn than in the official pictures, but everything is still clean.

Not worth the money. Old rooms, you can hear noises from people above or next to you. Beds are super uncomfortable. Bathroom looks like from the 80s. Even priest at the reception lied to us about parking (do not use their private parking if you stay there just for 1 night). Don't go to this devils den.

We have been here for three nights. The place is easy to find, right at the end of the main square of the Old Town. Just footsteps from the Christmas Market, restaurants, bars and minimarkets. The reception is not open 24/7, but staff is friendly and helpful. The lovely girl booked for us a taxi for the early flight we had to take. The huge room for your breakfast (not available on site) is equiped with kettle, microwave oven, fridge and of course mugs, plates and cutlery. Complimentary coffee and tea available. The room with a nice wooden floor, high ceiling and huge windows was big and airy, very clean and warm. The bathroom simple, but clean. Bring your own shower gel shampoo, as there is only a hand soap dispenser. Hairdryer available at reception on request. The building was very quiet as quiet is all the area. BUT saturday night the club next door can be annoying... we were able to hear the bass of the music till 4am!!! (luckily we had to leave at that time)

The place is terrible. I do not understand why it has this number of stars. People walking at 5 in the morning, so noisy place to stay at. You can hear them like they are in your room. When we came here at 7 pm, priest told us that we have to use their parking lot because outside it is very expensive, 2 euro for one hour. Their parking is for 10 euro and outside it was for free from 8 to 8 morning. I guess lying priests are common for every country.
