Gorgeous wee hotel, perfectly authentic. Loved our view, and the cool breeze. Breakfast down several flights was delicious. Great location. Reception gave good recommendations thank you for our lovely room on same level as reception. Quiet

Lovely hotel. We stayed one night in a cave room. The room was large, spacious and comfortable but would benefit from some updating. Service was excellent as was the breakfast. The welcome, the facilities and the price made this a great choice for us

Can't beat the view from Hotel Kavalari! I enjoyed sketching on the landing outside my room-even ordered takeout grilled octopus and Greek salad so i could keep enjoying the view while i ate. Reception sells small wine bottles. Breakfast is a tray of Greek delicacies in generous amounts. The staff were lovely. I would definitely stay there again!

This hotel is one of a kind is one of few with original design and its very unique architecture like the original buildings where the locals lived. it’s rated 2 stars but it has a 5 ⭐️ location and 5⭐️ views. Christine was an excellent hostess at the front desk . I really enjoyed my stay here.

While the location and views are stunning, our experience was far from perfect. We were in room 33, which is on the reception floor. The room was outdated, and we could hear every noise from the reception. Although our room was right by the reception, the WiFi barely worked, which made it feel pointless to have it at all. The staff, in general, were not very friendly and seemed bothered by simple requests like borrowing an iron. Breakfast staff were especially rude, giving the impression that they don't care about the guests. On a positive note, one of the reception ladies was nice and helpful. The hotel's main highlight is its location—it’s right on the cliff with a breathtaking view of the crater and perfectly situated in the center of Fira, making it easy to explore the area. However, the high price is hard to justify given the outdated rooms and lackluster service. A beautiful view and central location are not enough to make up for the shortcomings in hospitality.

This hotel have a really good position in the Caldera. All the time you can see the incredible view over the sea, the volcano, some cities and of course the sunset.|My room was located downstair, at the bottom so this means a lot of stairs to use but I like this. It's a sport time ! Mostly if like me you have some planned walks. |I get a lovely room with a windows which let in the sun ray's.|The breakfast is generous, the personnal in charge of it are very nice, like the reception. Great people here.

The hotel is located in the center of fira with great views but too expensive for the quality of the services offered. There was only one person who had to act as porter and waiter for breakfast with evident stress and tiredness, which made us feel uncomfortable almost to the point of not having breakfast in the hotel, he didn't even say good morning to us and he slammed the plates on the table (breakfast that you can't choose and you are forced to eat packaged products and there was nothing typical Greek). There was no wifi, the receptionist was nice but without offering any kind of service . Hotel with nice view but I don’t recommend it.

Stayed 3 nights then island hoped to Santorini afterwards. Definite worth it for the view. Close to everything in town and airport and ferry. Breakfast included and fairly reasonable price on Expedia. Would stay here again
