Stayed twice. May 2024 and Feb 2025. Perfect location,very friendly staff,excellent value for money. Wonderful public bath with mount Fuji view. My room face mount muji as well 😁

Good morning Fuji-san! Amazing hotel with an amazing location just steps away from the transport hub and a short walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. There is also an add-on breakfast option that costs 750JPY.

Great Japanese style hotel. Just 1 min from the station, really convenient. There is a tea set in the room, you could enjoy it after onsen. Bathrooms are sheared, have male and female sections, very clean and nice. If you’re not a fan of public bathroom, there is an option to have shower in private. However, both times I was there first late at night around 11 pm and then in the morning around 7 am, I was alone and could lay down in onsen. Bedding is traditional, as it was advertised

Stayed at this inn 15 years ago and loved it because it's great value for money and awesome view of Mount Fuji from our room and Onsen. Thus decided to come back again this time. Did not disappoint. Service is excellent and room is spacious and clean. Share bathrooms are also clean. It's just next to Kawaguchiko Station and that's a supper plus point. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff, ryokan style rooms are clean with a great view of Fujisan when you open the window! Its right across from Kawaguchiko Station so super convenient to travel around and find shops, Kawaguchiko lake, restaurants, and there is also a public hot bath for you to enjoy as well! The bathroom and showers are shared but I don't find any problem with my two nights stay. Will definitely be back again!

Excellent location and very spacious accommodation. We selected the japanese style tatami mat room, and were lucky enough to be facing the mount fuji view. Recommended to try the breakfast for just 750Y and you get to view the beautiful mount fuji while dining. Best of all, the onsen for ladies have a perfect view of mount fuji when you use it in day time. We stayed for 4n and it was wonderfully refreshing!

The hotel is right in front of Kawaguchiko station, 2 minutes walk. You can leave your luggage if you arrive before check-in time, which was our case. Also the hotel provides us a parking place for our rental car just 5 minutes walk from hotel. Some rooms offer a direct view on Mt Fuji (very practical to check if it is worth waking up early to take photos). In addition to showers, you have two onsens with also a view on Mt Fuji. Rooms are typical Tatatmi rooms. And all this for a very reasonnable price. In addition the owner is very kind and offer great advice

Super clean room despite the looks. The old aunties are really hardworking and persevere in their work very much. Only issue is getting used to the small room with DIY futons and shared toilets and shower.

For anyone on a budget, their rates start at roughly 4200 yen/night including the 5% tax - however the prices do change by season and room availability For pure convenience, I give this lodging a 5 star. It is literally across the street from Kawaguchiko Station Inn, so you don't have to worry about transporting your luggage to yet another location. The rooms are simple, tatami mats with down comforter, plenty of room. There are TVs however, please note that all the programming available was in Japanese. There is free wifi, but it can be pretty slow especially at night, when I assume that everyone is back from their hikes and trying to access the Wi-Fi at the same time. I would highly recommend Kawaguchiko Station Inn for a convenient stay near Lake Kawaguchiko for an amazing view of Mt Fuji and easy access to the red line buses to travel the rest of the lake as long as you curb your expectations for a budget friendly stay. *Tip* they are cash only and there are no non-smoking rooms according to their website. However there were no smells of smoke in our room during the stay

Awesome budget accommodation with views of Mt Fuji and a rooftop onsen. It's within sight of the train/bus station, and walking distance to lots of local bars and restaurants. Highlights for me were the great Japanese breakfast and the onsen, with magnificent views of Mt. Fuji-- simply incredible. The staff were lovely and let us keep bags after check out, too.
