Decided to find a last minute sento! They allowed non-hotel guests to use their sento for 750Yen! The ojii-san was really friendly and patient. Sento is really quaint and clean too with shampoo and body wash readily available! Do remember to bring your bath towels or you can rent from ojii-san for a few hundred yen.

Convient for short stay to explore near Fuji. Near bus station. Great view from onsen! We had room without private toilet. It was on the same floor. It was fine for us. Recommend! Can store luggage before or after checking to explore surroundings.

It's a nice budget-friendly way to experience a ryokan for a few nights. The staff are all nice and the rooms are very clean. The beds are comfy for what they are, don't expect some western-style mattresses, but it's a cool experience. The showers and toilets were always clean and it's nice to have the bath facilities, though we didn't use it because we were a little confused about whether you had to be naked or not! Tables and ping pong down stairs was also good for eating and chilling out. ||Could be more signage for using the baths, was a bit awkward so we didn't use them! Also could do with another shower or so.

This is a great option for solo travellers who plan to use the sightseeing buses to get around the area. The Japanese style room was the perfect size. I was able to use the onsen facilities alone which made it even more relaxing

On the good side, the view from the Onsen is amazing, good location, the room was fine, clean. On the bad side, the sound insulation is poor, people smoke just in front of the hotel with the doors open so it gets up the staircase and it smells in the building. The receptionist was fine but a bit cold for Japan. Overall it's rather good value for money and ok for a short stay.

i love this place, very clean and tidy, and all host are very humble, top service. we can keep our luggage there before our checkin time, and the baggage already sent to our room. this place is right in front of kawaguchiko station, and facing mount fuji, also there's public bath that has a great view of mount fuji while bathing.

Google
Bus transit area for very popular tourist area, well organised and helpful staff. Gift shop, luggage lockers, restrooms and shops nearby including Lawsons and 7/11 - local food stalls, icecreams and restaurants if time permits. Hiring bicycles also popular not far away. Suggest first time visitors arrive early to ensure you find the correct area to wait for your bus/train as some long lines during busy periods. Including for rest rooms. Limited seating areas particularly if raining. Taxi service excellent.

Very Good service and clean room. We're arrived on the last highway bus from tokyo city, it was a very late check-in that day. But the host are so kind and nice. The next day we stored luggage but no charge, so we give the host several taiwan pineapple cakes to thanks for ♡. - Ms.Lin Family from Taiwan 2025.10.18 -

Yelp
For anyone on a budget, their rates start at roughly 4200 yen/night including the 5% tax - however the prices do change by season and room availability For pure convenience, I give this lodging a 5 star. It is literally across the street from Kawaguchiko Station Inn, so you don't have to worry about transporting your luggage to yet another location. The rooms are simple, tatami mats with down comforter, plenty of room. There are TVs however, please note that all the programming available was in Japanese. There is free wifi, but it can be pretty slow especially at night, when I assume that everyone is back from their hikes and trying to access the Wi-Fi at the same time. I would highly recommend Kawaguchiko Station Inn for a convenient stay near Lake Kawaguchiko for an amazing view of Mt Fuji and easy access to the red line buses to travel the rest of the lake as long as you curb your expectations for a budget friendly stay. *Tip* they are cash only and there are no non-smoking rooms according to their website. However there were no smells of smoke in our room during the stay

Yelp
Awesome budget accommodation with views of Mt Fuji and a rooftop onsen. It's within sight of the train/bus station, and walking distance to lots of local bars and restaurants. Highlights for me were the great Japanese breakfast and the onsen, with magnificent views of Mt. Fuji-- simply incredible. The staff were lovely and let us keep bags after check out, too.
