Kawhia Beachside Scape Holiday Park

We had an incredible stay at Kawhia Beachside Scape – hands down one of the best experiences we've had as a family while travelling! Conrad was absolutely amazing: warm, kind, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The accommodation was perfect for our group. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortably fit all of us with room for our luggage. The beds were super comfy with thick, warm blankets that kept us cosy despite the cold Kawhia weather (we're from Western Australia, so it was very chilly for us!). There was a heater in the room originally and Conrad kindly added small heaters in both rooms – even though we didn’t end up needing them, it just shows how thoughtful and attentive he was. The toilets and showers were spotless, and the hot water and pressure were perfect – especially appreciated in the cold! The communal kitchen was clean and well-equipped, and the entire property was peaceful, tidy, and beautifully maintained. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable time and felt so welcomed throughout our stay. We’re already planning to book again for our next family holiday – this time a bigger crew of us. We truly couldn’t recommend Kawhia Beachside Scape more highly. Thank you again for making our stay so amazing Conrad!

We loved our stay. Super convenient for the early starts on the charter boats. Excellent facilities, right on the water with a great communal layout. We have already booked and extended our stay for next year.

Great place to stay and relax! We took our campervan out there for a weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. Had a site right on the waterfront. Conrad is very friendly and welcoming. Facilities are all very clean, showers are awesome and the kitchen and lounge are huge. The grounds and campsites are immaculate too. There is also a big spa pool which we soaked in both nights - luxury! This camp is dog friendly too (on leash of course).

Great spot on the water. My family of 9, ages ranging from 40+ to 2 years love this place. We have been here twice in 1 month and will continue to come back whenever we can. The grounds are very clean and tidy along with the cabins, rooms, and the two bedroom motel.The communal kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, and the showers and toilets are clean. There is also a spa pool and free use of the kayaks, which was definitely a bonus. Conrad is an awesome host, really friendly and welcoming. Honestly, if we didn't have plans for Labour weekend and Christmas, we'd be here.

Absolutely delightful place. Waterfront camping, friendly and informative host. Ocean beach is a 10min drive away (borrow free shovels at reception) for amazing hot water beach experience. Lovely clean site and rooms, kitchen with stoves and oven, hot showers and included wifi. Can definitely recommend for a memorable oceanside stay.

An amazing spot location is one thing but its the camp host thatmakes it the best camp ground we've stayed in. A host that truly wants you to have a great stay, from local tips to fishing spots and a warm welcome.

Really lovely location, friendly and helpful owner. Spa,Kayaks, Shovels for the beach, hot/high pressure showers, clean big kitchen! Amazing value for money!
