KAWI UBUD

As an introvert, i just love being here. Having a drink while staring at the stars at the back garden.. i mean.. so dreamy. Their cocktails and their snacks are so unique and delicious. Staffs were so nice and the ambience is so calm. If they are having an event, you should definitely go, cause it would be fun and interesting.

A very introvert-friendly bar in Ubud. Calm and quiet atmosphere, limited tables which makes it feel more private and intimate. Not noisy at all—perfect for coming alone, having a relaxed conversation, or simply enjoying a drink in peace. Comfortable service and a truly relaxing vibe. Definitely a hidden gem in Ubud.

From the moment you step inside, it feels like entering a different world. The design is beautiful and thoughtfully done. The space is small but perfectly laid out, intimate, and very accommodating. It truly felt like an experience rather than just a place to have drinks. We tried six different cocktails, and every single one was impressive. Beautifully balanced, creative, and full of unique flavour combinations. You can really tell a lot of care goes into each drink. We also ordered the quail eggs, which were flavourful and something a little different, and the potatoes with wasabi mayo. The potatoes were fine, though they did not stand out as much compared to the cocktails and quail eggs. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they gave great recommendations, which added to the overall experience. It is a perfect spot for an evening date. It can be a little tricky to find as the sign is not very visible from the street, but the restaurant next door kindly guided us to the entrance. A special place in Ubud that feels intimate, well curated, and memorable. We would absolutely return.

We only had cocktails, but the food looked really good. Such a interesting array of cocktail ingredients, very adventurous. Staff were impeccable. Quite pricey but this level of craft doesn't come cheap. Surprisingly good beer selection!

Visited after seeing reviews and wasn't disappointed. While the cocktails are pricier than other options around, the atmosphere is sleek and intimate, adding to the pleasure of tasting their unique creations. Probably the best place in the area for a date, it sure is worth stopping by for the drink experience.

Kawi has such a chic and calm aesthetic. My cocktail was beautiful and the people working here were so friendly and nice to talk to. Absolutely loved it here - can’t recommend highly enough.

It’s a non speakeasy but appears to be a speakeasy bar with no signage outside the venue. I like the relax and low key ambience. The music are not too loud so patrons can still talk to each other without to raise their voice. My favourite cocktail was Pisano with the local arak based and I can taste the banana flavour in it. This bar is a must if you like out of the box cocktails. One of the example is “Kacang” which tastes like the alcoholic version of bubur kacang ijo (Mung bean sweet porridge). Worth a travel if you are cocktails lovers.

Stumbled upon Kawi Ubud and it instantly became one of my favorite spots in Bali. The atmosphere is calm, artistic, and surrounded by beautiful rice fields — perfect for a relaxing afternoon or an intimate evening. The highlight for me? Their hot cocoa cocktail — warm, rich, and slightly boozy, it’s like a hug in a cup. Perfect for Ubud’s breezy weather. It’s not something you find everywhere, and they absolutely nailed it. Service was attentive, the staff were super friendly, and the food was delicious too. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Ubud and looking for something unique and comforting.
