Everything about this intimate restaurant is amazing. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch! We will be back! We went back for breakfast one morning and another dinner another night. Sean and his staff treat every guest with care and a smile. We asked Sean to choose for us the second evening and he did not disappoint.

Kayak Kafe was the best option for food in Hillsborough based on Google reviews... And there is a reason for that. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly. Vibes nice ... Right by the sea. Owner also very accommodating.

If you want really delicious food and a gorgeous view from any table, you must visit Kayak Kafé. The menu is diverse and it's open 7 days a week. There's a nice selection of alcohol too. I had breakfast and lunch several times during my Carriacou stay. And...they have good coffee - maybe the only real coffee on the island? The owner, Sean, has an interesting story and runs Kayak Kafe with care. The waitresses and cooks - special shout out to Ms. Lydia - are part of the cafe's beauty, and you will experience all the charm that Carriacou has to offer here. A local gem indeed!

Lovely cafe, great for lunch, has a bar, famous for a great range of smoothies. We popped in for a late lunch. Lovely tranquil setting in spite of being in the heart of Hillsborough, handy for the local banks, cash points, close to bus and taxis. View from the terrace overlooks the harbour, and gorgeous yellow sandy beach. Food was great, I had a tasty Greek salad, and my wife had fresh tuna sandwich and coleslaw. Not expensive, slightly posher than the beach bars, but the owner, a South African lady, sailed in 20 ish years ago sold the boat and set up the business. She is lovely, lively and a font of local knowledge, including all music festivals, carnivals, best boat trips, dance and nightlife. The three local ladies do the food and wow, tasty Carriacou twist on the menu items. Seemed very popular with expats and experienced yacht owners, who know where this gem is, and I suspect return regularly. Definitely a must for lunch. Five stars .

Our regular spot for breakfast and lunch during our stay in Carriacou. Friendly owner, chefs and awesome views. Would recommend anyone visiting Carriacou to eat there.

Wonderful little place with gorgeous views. We sat by the bar area facing the water, which was perfect! Plenty of crabs and birds in the area to keep an eye on as well. The food was delicious and well priced. We got fish of the day. There's also vegetarian options as well. The staff friendly and helpful! Would recommend for meal if you're in the area.

Must admit this is a little hidden gem. The views are amazing with the sea breeze to cool you down. Breakfast was great I will definitely come again. Good value for money

Great food and atmosphere. Sally took great care of us. First lunch on the island. Perfect! Gentle, sweet women served and worked the kitchen. Will recommend it. Lambi Fritters were pleasant suprise.
