Kayun Hostel Downtown

We were very impressed with the standard of this accommodation. we hired a 4 bed dorm, which was spacious clean and had aircon. The plunge pool area downstairs seemed lovely - we didn’t use it. It is central in Kuta and comes with the multiple hawkers on the streets outside the door. With that and the beach and sea filled with plastic, so we decided to move up the coast to Petitenget which was a lot more quiet and the beach was much cleaner

Prime location in Kuta for a good price, plus relatively good size bed in large room. We stayed for one night. Our room was unremarkable, but large and the beds were comfortable. Also the air con was on point, cooled the room nicely. And considering its central location, the noise from outside was not unbearable. The hostel itself was quiet, and was not particularly sociable; though the staff were friendly and helpful. Downstairs area is more decadent than the rooms, and they have a restaurant there which seemed to be doing okay (we didn't eat there). Overall, we didn't enjoy Kuta very much as a whole, but this accommodation helped make the experience more relaxing.

I traveled by myself and stayed in this hostel for 10 nights. It is located in the heart of party place of Kuta. There are a lot of bars, clubs and cafes around so night life is very active. It's also not too far from the beach, so you can take a short walk to reach ocean. Hostel is nice and clean. It looks pretty much like on photos here. Every bed has a curtains so you can have some privacy, it also has comfortable large mattresses. Stuff is very friendly and ready to help you 24/7. I gave this hostel 4, because it's too big and crowded to have special atmosphere, which I appreciate in places I'm staying in. But if you like to party and want to find new friends this hostel is the perfect for you!

Good spot. Very cheap. Rooms are tidy and good AirCon. Staff even helped me carry up my big suitcase to 3rd floor. |Toilet could be cleaner. |Pool is so tiny I would recommend the beach. |Nothing special just a hostel. Rooms has no Window. Not sure If I’d come back.

THE BEST hostel in Bali!!! Friendly staff. Big room for 6 bunkbed. Private toilet. Clean. The sheets and blankets smell good. Quiet. They also have a room for movie, small pool, place for mingle with other traveler. And the price is very cheap for all the facilities, only IDR80k or $5.7 😅😅. Very recommended!! I'll be back for sure 😍😍

Stayed in female dorm for 2 nights. Dirty sheets/ stains and marks but others were clean. Good security - key card for door, key card entry to main area and security guards. No lock for drawers to put bags so need own lock to bolt. Showers claustrophobic but nice and hot so you have time to wash your hair if it's long.|10-15 mins walk to beach. On main road. Didn't really keep me awake even though next to main clubs. Really unsocial...not many people seemed to be around. |Curtains on beds made less social. Perfect location in the middle of the hussle and bussle of Kuta ! Staff are amazing and will help you with anything. Security is great and they provide free T and Coffee at all hours of the day. free computers to use and free wifi. They common room is amazing with cinema and Spa pool. This was my 4th time here, i will definitely be back

Very comfortable lobby and common room. Dorm beds were comfortable with curtains to provide privacy. Helpful and friendly staff. Free coffee and tea is provided. Located on a busy street so traffic is heavy most of the time.
