It was New Year evening and we went out to find a restaurant that might have some New year show or something. However we didn’t find one so we stopped at this Kazim Usta restaurant that looked very fancy and crowded from outside with good view to the sea from the terrace. We ordered 2steaks, burger, pizza, fish and salad. For drink we had a beer, a glass of wine, 2 glasses of orange juice and a bottle of water. The atmosphere was busy and bright, we like the pizza, burger, fish and a steak. However one steak wasn’t cooked well done as we asked so, not much of it was eaten. At the same time none of us finished the meal as it was too much for 3adults and 2 children, we ordered too much )) The total price we paid was 220USD, pretty expensive, but probably to New year and the atmosphere you get here.

We had a delightful lunch here after visiting Ephesus. To start, we had fried calamari, followed by very fresh whole sea bream and giant shrimp, grilled to perfection. All were accompanied by a delicious local white wine. The location is on the port, near the cruise ship terminal, and the view was great. We seemed to nearly the only tourists among the locals, but the menu was easy and translated into English. I would recommend going, especially for seafood.

Our local tour guide recommended Kazım Usta Restaurant, and it was an excellent suggestion. We tried the lamb chops and grilled fish, both of which were cooked to perfection. The view by the harbor added to our enjoyment. I highly recommend Kazım Usta for those seeking authentic and delicious Turkish cuisine.

our tour guide, Yesim pointed out to Kazim Usta, on the way to our hotel, as the place she brings her family to for dinner. We did a nice evening walk along the coast and walked into Kazim Usta. Immediately we felt like we were one of them, as people are friendly and no chance of being ignored. We were ushered to our table, either they were attentive or just coincidence, that they gave us a table next to a fan blowing cool breeze, as i was still sweating after the walk. We ordered the grilled seabass, two mezzes from the open counter, and a simply amazing octopus casserole that tasted like meat! We were attended to by Basheer, or fondly teased upon as Professor Chef, perhaps because he knows their food well. Their prices are reasonable compared to restaurants in Cappadocia where we had spent two days prior. If you have read about Pete’s Place in Seattle, this is the Pete’s Place in Kusadasi. You feel like you are at home and you dont want to leave.

We visited based on our tour guide's recommendation, and it was a fantastic choice! The location offers breathtaking sea views right next to Kusadasi Port. The food is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is wonderfully calming. A must visit restaurant if you are in Kusadasi! Thank you.

A good restaurant but they keep their sea view tables for friends or regular customers. Their mezzes are good except for ‘deniz borulcesi’ which is awful and has lots of inedible parts inside and taste awful. Their Calamari and fried shrimps are very small in portion but delicious. Fast service, helpful staff. Their prices are higher than the other restaurants in that area. Aug 2024 and we paid 3900 tl for two persons.

We had a mixed experience. Communication seemed to be very low (which is OK, I work well with Google Translate, but it was more than a language barrier. We would ask for something and point in the menu and they would bring something else). Their drink menu was limited and inflexible. For instance, you could order an aperol spritz which contains prosecco, but they would not serve plain prosecco by the glass.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even the tiniest issue or discrepancy and they were all over it. The food was absolutely incredible. Really. Seriously. We've eaten a lot of excellent Greek food on this trip and I wasn't sure what to expect in Turkiye but Kazim Usta represented the Turkish cuisine and hospitality perfectly. Very reasonably priced, very very delicious food, and just a top experience. If you're on a cruise and you're wondering if any of the restaurants at the port are worth a visit, this one definitely is. My only tiny, tiny caveat is that if you sit by the water, you may have a fishy seawater smell to contend with. It's nothing they can do anything about and after a few minutes it's hardly noticeable, plus the restaurant has plenty of seating in other parts of the building. Do not let this dissuade you! Very much worth visiting!
