I give out 5 star reviews when a business is working hard to offer quality. If it was possible I would give this place 6 stars! Seriously have 0 feedback to improve it. Don't judge how much pork we got, we did run a half marathon today but pork buns! Pork gyoza! And pork belly main served with fried rice were all out of this world! Every bite I closed my eyes just at how good it was. Incredible touch with the scallion soy sauce. We went on to get the bea roll, which comes in a chili soy paper! Thank you for an incredible post race dinner. 10/10 recommend

The staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, patiently guiding us through the menu and offering suggestions tailored to our tastes. Their attentiveness made the whole dining experience feel personalized and comfortable. Now, let's talk about the food – it was an absolute revelation! Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. From the delicate rolls to the melt-in-your-mouth mochi, every bite was a culinary adventure. What truly stood out was how the chefs options catered to newcomers like myself, ensuring that even the most hesitant palate could find something to love. They expertly balanced flavors and textures, making each dish accessible yet still authentic to the essence of sushi. My favorites: Bea roll and Honeymoon roll, but everything was delicious. Love the experience as a beginner with friendly sushi rolls – a perfect introduction to this exquisite cuisine. Overall, my first sushi experience at Kazumi was nothing short of exceptional. Whether you're a seasoned sushi aficionado or a curious newbie like me, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Japanese culinary perfection. I can't wait to return and explore even more of their tantalizing menu!

Maybe I ordered smth wrong, but I didn’t like the food. I ordered ramen. But in fact it turned out to be udon. Not the best one.y husband ordered rolls. And they smelled like the crab is not fresh. I will not come back, because unfortunately I hadn’t found any reasons for that.

To say the least, I was expecting more from this establishment but total disappointment. You’re better off to go to Sushi Siam or Sake Room here in Key Biscayne. Started our night with • Tuna Crispy Foie wasn’t impressive having Foie Gras on top; I was expecting more of it. Instead they put a very salty sauce which was never indicated in their description. You do feel the crispy rice inside which is perfect. • Trio Roll was full of protein and very light for those wanting something on a healthier side • Honeymoon was our favorite. Reminded me of Cooperfield Roll from Sokai Sushi. • Caco Roll is definitely a DO NOT ORDER kind of suggestion. Also no Truffle flavor whatsoever. Instead they added a very weird sauce that completely destroyed the roll in every way possible. Service is very slow! The first 2 rolls came out fairly quickly and then the other 2 took a good 40 mins to come to our table. Didn’t order anything else because it will take way too long. So we headed to Sushi Siam and wow perfect in every way! Only one gentleman who wasn’t our server but I believe he was a bus boy was definitely the most helpful. Our server never came back to check if we wanted more water.

If you love sushi you have to come here this restaurant is being there for 11 years this iconic place is my number 1 for sushi amazing service & great ambiance you guys Rock thank you!

Wonderful spot with excellent sushi! Incredible flavor in their tender dumplings and eggplant skewer. The sauces and tasty garnishes take the food to the next level!

This Japanese eatery in an upscale strip mall has outdoor seating - w/o a view. The table service was Ok but the tall gentleman who greets and seats seems to reserve his smile for regulars. The sushi I had was good but the miso cod was fairly bland.

Service 10/10, fast, attentive, quick food in and out. Definitely come here if you want a quick dinner. The crispy tuna rice was good. The dragon rim was also good. Nice ambiance sitting outside for dinner.

Overpriced for no reason. If it's expensive but delicious, I have no problem. It's just overpriced because of location and I found it to be pricey for what we were receiving + the quality. - tuna tacos: very good but the guacamole on it tasted just like the Sabra guacamole from Publix... - trio roll: it was good but not worth the price for 6 pieces. Service was very good and they had a lot of staff. Overall, I would not come back, but I'm glad I came and experienced it because I always pass it in the key.

Always excellent the food is so fresh and delicious but today I tried a roll 7 Piesas oh my God the best roll I have ever tasted. I hope they put that roll on the menu because it's amazing!!!!!!!!

Kazumi is such a fun place to stop on the way to and from the beach. I love their skewers and the service is very streamlined. The prices there are unbeatable for modern japanese cuisine. Their seating is very convenient and accommodating with indoor and outdoor options; great choice for all types of occasions. Always a nice night at kazumi's :)

the food was excellent , service was too. I didn't like having 3% for not using the QR code added onto the 18% automatic tip, then having to hit NO TIP after all that. the only time the waitress smiled at me I won't be back.

3rd year coming here on vacation. I'm literally obsessed with this place. Went here 3 nights in a row lol. Crispy Krab Salad 9.3/10 - absolutely amazing. An absolute must get. Honey Shrimp 9.5/10 - GIANT fresh shrimp. The sauce is incredible, sweet with pieces of walnut. Can't get over how big and fresh the shrimp were. Wagyu Sliders  6/10* (With wasabi mayo, arugula, and fried quail egg) - usually I give rate these around a 9 but I felt they were on the dry side. Was more of a burger and not a steak. Nothing like I remember Fried Rice 8.5/10* (Jasmine rice, shrimp, chicken, scallions, soy sauce, eggs, hondashi, and sesame seed oil) - greasy rice but flavors are most definitely poppin. Unique flavor, heavy on the sesame oil. Jalapeño Popper 9/10* (Shrimp tempura, cream, and Parmesan cheese) - This is my OG princess and I will forever love her. Everyone must try parmesan on a sushi roll. No spicy if that's a concern. Asian Baby Back Ribs 8.9/10 - can get them sweet or spicy, we obviously opted for sweet. Meat fell of the bone. Honeymoon 9.6/10 * (Krab Salad, Shrimp tempura, Cream Cheese, Avocado, Almonds and Walnuts) - tonight this one HIT. The honey with the cream cheese was unreal. The almonds gave a nice crunch. Bea Roll 9.7/10 (Shrimp Tempura, Cream Cheese, Fried Plantain, Avocado, wrapped with Chilli Soy Paper) - the soy paper with chillis is absolutely jaw dropping. The perfect amount of sweet and spice. The fried plantains melted in the mouth. I have never noticed the chili soy paper but it was actually kinda hot.

My family and I went here today after spending the day at crandon Park. We did not make reservations and just turned up. It was quite busy. We sat outside which was really pleasant. The service was fast and quick. We sampled three rolls and an appetizer of their ribs. The ribs were so good that we ordered a second one. All three rows that we tried were fantastic. The food we tried was excellent and I would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

The best sushi fusion in KB !! Anything you get on the menu is delicious. The service is nice and the ambience is up vibe. The space is a bit crowded but you forget about it as soon as you start eating!!

Delicious and fun place. We had the best fresh Toro sushi there. Our server was great, his suggestions were on point. Loved that it was packed outside. The sake selection great. Will put it on our to go KB list.

Best food in Key Biscayne by a long shot. And great service also. Can't beat Kazumi for Asian food.

Good restaurant, everything is clean & fresh, food is great, although the service isn't very ideal it can take pretty long to get your order in and when you do the food does take some time to arrive.

Was heading to Key Biscayne to pick up a cake, stopped to eat lunch here and was pleasantly surprised. Bento box included a spicy krab hand roll which was great, tempura veggies where scrumptious too! The miso soup was included, best ive tasted, had sliced mushrooms, tofu, seaweed, yum! Service was perfect.... Oohhhh shishito peppers were delish.. Definitely down to eat there again, try something else.

I've been to Kazumi many times and I like it very much. Warning: menus on the web has old prices. I was upset that they've increased 15-18% now. In spite of that, there are a lot of items I loved from the many. First I would mention the wagyu beef slides, the crab salad, the octopus and most sushi rolls. The place is always full, but you can do walk-ins with some wait time on weekends. I highly recommend. There's also plenty of outdoor seating which I prefer

Good food but... Not the first time it happens to us. Had a bunch of kids after soccer practice (park right next door) sitting next to us without any adult supervision. It was very loud and uncomfortable. Not the experience we were looking for. We told the manager and he apologized but you don't go to a Sushi restaurant to have 10 year olds wearing sweaty soccer uniforms, throwing food at each other and being loud sit right next to you. I personally don't want to eat sushi at a kids restaurant. At a minimum groups of children should be seated outside. Service is OK. Ordered avocado in one of my rolls and but got cream cheese instead. Not sure I am coming back to dine-in and will do take out only going fwd.

Venezuelan Manager gave us a condition to be able to sit down, we had to eat in one hour Waiter took 20 minutes to take the order. We don't like to be rushed to eat specially when the food is not even three stars. (Eso es cosa de gringos)

We had dinner here on a Saturday night about 6:30pm. We were not able to sit outside because we didn't have a specific outside reservation, which I understand. However we went inside and there was a very strong smell of incense. It was so strong it hurt my throat to breathe and we considered leaving. Nobody else was sitting inside so we could pick any table we wanted but most of the chairs are metal and have no cushion. It was also fairly cold inside. We sat down and we're greeted by a woman speaking Spanish. I told her "hablamos inglés" and she walked away and another waiter came to see us who spoke English. We ordered gyoza which was very different from any gyoza I've ever ordered, but I enjoyed it. It was more like an empanada with a mango sauce. We ordered three sushi rolls which were all very good, although one was very small (the slices were at most 1/2"). In summary the food would get 4-5 stars, the service would get 3-4 stars and the ambiance would get 1-2 stars. if you have to sit inside I suggest going somewhere else.

I was in town on business. I was looking for a BBQ spot but they seemed to be in run down neighborhoods, so I found myself in Key Biscayne. I saw Kazumi and decided to try it. The food was great!! I had fried rice and a chefs salad. Both were really good and very flavorful!! Next time I'm in town, I'm heading here!!

The food was good, highly recommend the Honeymoon roll, the Toño was amazing, but what made the experience the best was our server Juan, he was the best, super attentive and quick. I would go back for the food but I hope I get served again by the same server. Ambience is great.

Favorite sushi in south Florida. The caco roll is the best thing I have ever tasted. I have never had a bad experience. The food and service is always amazing. I recommend the caco roll, fried rice, and the crab salad. 10/10!! Been going here with my boyfriend for years and will continue to!

Wow! What a way to go from top to bottom! After giving this place 5 stars initially, today's brief visit was the kind of experience that will ensure it will be my last. The guy at the door seemed more than annoyed that two people might want to dine at the establishment. I'm actually fairly certain I saw a literal eye roll. After being seated and left there for about 10-15 minutes, no one came over at all. No water, no welcome, nothing. Was it busy, you might ask? Nope. Only one other table of three. As we walked out, no one asked what happened or enquired why we were leaving. I may have heard a sigh of relief, actually. Thanks for nothing, Kazumi. Your days are obviously numbered.

Had dinner with friends, nice restaurant though not your traditional sushi bar. Such as they have ceviche, their charshi is more like a poke bowl. Overall a nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good service. The only downside I saw is wine and sake is pricey.

Highly recommend it. Reasonably priced sushi that is fresh and authentic. Their to go boxes are very convenient

Great experience here! It was absolutely happening in a Thursday night. I had a delicious quinoa bowl and then the desert -- it was superb! Highly recommend the banana and Nutella desert. BUT the reason I'm leaving this review isn't because of the food, it's because of my FANTASTIC experience with the waiters. Juan was outstanding, he went out of his way to help answer multiple questions and get us exactly what we asked for. I felt absolutely taken care of. Jose was so sweet and also super helpful! Both of them were a dream team, it has been a long time since I had servers who genuinely seemed to care so much and really deliver a GREAT experience. Because of them, we'll definitely be back! Thanks Juan and Jose for making it such a spectacular experience!!

This place has a very special palette and autonomy behind their dishes, the tuna tacos are way different than any other place. The Wagyu is verified and fresh! Neptuno salad is a must paired with a cold Sapporo. I'm not a big fan of rolls, gotta say these dudes are making some interesting creations of their own. Being a true sushi fan for many years, their nigiris and sashimi's make the cut by far, their Toro and hamachi are mind blowing. Second time visiting Kazumi. The waiters are on top of their game. Jalapeño roll was delicious, so was the bao roll and Waygu sliders. My fam loved the honey shrimp. No complaints here other than it's so dark inside.
