In its day this camp would have been supreme, though now it seems like the moisture and age had gotten to the facilities a little bit. That being said, this location is mind blowingly beautiful. The roar of the river so nice to drift off to. The tatami cabins cute and tent pad soft and flat.

This is such a hidden gem of a campsite. We had the hotel call and book a hut before arriving, and it was no problem to stay there 4 people. We kid of had our own space in front of the hut, since occupancy was low. The surroundings are amazing- the river is beautiful and there are plenty of spots to relax. You kind of forget all about sightseeing and just want to stay in this paradise. Be aware that there are no futons or other equipment in the huts, so you have to bring your own stuff.

Hidden gem The view was magnificent. You can camp with tents or get a cottage. There’s a bbq area, hot showers and toilets available. Highly recommended for people who prefer splendid views and calm environments living close to the nature. The owner understands little bit of English. Need to call and reserve before going.

A pretty run down campground but the incredible riverside location makes up for it. Bathrooms are not particularly clean but the site is so lovely it really didn’t matter to us. Even if you do t speak Japanese, call the number to make a reservation. The owner speaks an enough English to get er done.

We spent 1 night there without reservation, thanks to the owner who allowed us. Although we paid for two nights but it occurred that it's a different camping that I was planning, cause there's two Kazurabashi (vine bridge) locations and near each of it there's camping 😁😁 The place is very nice, very picturesque view from the tent, it's worth its money (we paid 950¥/night for the tent for 2 people). It has got water in the shower.

Beautiful campsite. Clean orderly and immediate access to the river for swimming of relaxing. ||- Easy access from the main road with a care. 15 min walk to the road/bus stop without. ||- 10 min walk to the Kazurabashi itself which, in-season, has three restaurants open from about 10AM to 4 PM.||- Firepits for cooking. They rent cassette gas stoves and pots if needed.||- The nearest place to buy food to cook is the 7/11 by the Montbelle at West-West (approx 30 min drive) and the nearest supermarket is in Ikeda (about an hour), so come prepared.||- The bungalow are six tatami mats and include a sink with running water and electricity outlets.||- The showers were great 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. The other day there was no hot water (in the evening or the next morning), perhaps because the place was near full occupancy. The showers were also very clean on the day we arrived, but a bit dirty by day three.||-- Overall, we loved it. Only the showers kept it from being a perfect 5-star review.

Google Maps has this place located on the wrong side of the river which, as I was cycling, put me in a bad mood when I arrived. I wanted to take a tent site but the manager wouldn't let me due to forecast rain so I took a cabin instead. The toilet and shower facilities were good as were the clothes/kitchenware washing facilities for campers. The river didn't look all that clean, which was a disappointment as I had hoped to go swimming in it. But my main gripe was the lack of a futon. There were tatami mats and a blanket, which made for a pretty hard surface for sleeping. No pillow was provided either. Fairly expensive at 5500 yen, for what was provided.

Great! I came here on a bike tour across Japan. Some information for other cycle tourists: Campsite is open April-November (you would not be able to stealth camp here in the off-season, it is private property). 500jpy for tent plus 210/person. I came in early April with no reservation, no problem. But I imagine in the busier season, you need to call ahead. There are hot showers and a nice cooking area! Walking distance to onsen and vine bridge, etc. Stock up on groceries in whatever bigger city you are coming from, not much in the valley
