I had the most excellent experience! Ralph took such care and time with 2 papyrus pieces I had brought back from Egypt for framing. I am so happy I chose them at the end of my extensive search! Some in my search were the more generic synthetic framing operations, and some were the more expensive ones, but none had the character and beautiful unique artistic selection that KC has! Plus that personal old New York touch : ) I am stunned by how powerful these pieces came out. Thank you KC Arts! And thank you Ralph for the best experience!

Truly the best framing place in the neighborhood. They always go above and beyond to help highlight your artwork in the ways it's called for. I recently brought in an old oil painting that was in pretty rough shape. When I picked it up, I was shocked to see that they had touched up the big tear that had been in it and another spot that had been scratched. I'm amazed at the care and attention to detail they give to each piece every time. Will come back forever!

I come here for all my framing needs. I usually have my own frame, and especially antique frames are unusual sizes…and so is the art…so I can’t buy standard sized mats. If you bring your art and frame they will meticulously cut a mat and there’s no guesswork like with the internet. Just had a mat cut and it was $35 for a 16x20 frame. I’ve also had a custom frame made here and it is the centerpiece of my living room, the frame options are just beautiful. The custom frame, made of wood and glass instead of particleboard and vinyl, was worth every penny. Once your art and art prints look this good, seriously you’ll never go back to the internet. So convenient too. No shipping time.

Don’t buy your frames on Amazon or anywhere else. Got it—you think framing is gonna be expensive. KC has a better selection of affordable and quality standard-size frames that blow Amazon away. But most things worth framing don’t come in standard sizes, and this is where KC excels. Pro-tip: ask them to cut you a custom mat for your odd-dimensioned pieces, and buy a standard size frame to fit it to. The internet could never. Plus, for the tasteless and/or colorblind, their framers have an incredible sense of color and contrast—tell your partner you picked it out yourself.

I have had numerous paintings framed at KC Arts. This time the service was horrendous. I could not decide between 2 picture frames and wanted to insert the picture. The manager came and said it was not aloud for a customer to use the counter space for that purpose. His attitude was atrocious and his explanation made no sense. I was the only customer in the shop. They lost my future business.

Love my frame job by them! They had a quick turnaround of 4 days on this 20x24 canvas from my grandparents. About $350 but given the speed and how good it looks, totally worth the price!

Jen was fantastic! Super helpful and knowledgeable. I’ll be returning next time I need more art supplies

I can’t recommend KC enough! They went above and beyond for me, framing an old family painting in less than 24 hours - 2 days before Christmas no less! They did a beautiful job and were so lovely to work with - something that seems harder and harder to come by. I will certainly use them for any framing projects in the future. Thank you so much!
