Authentic Mediterranean Flavors in Little Rock! As someone who grew up in Montreal surrounded by amazing Mediterranean food, I have high expectations—and this small kebab house did not disappoint! I ordered the Chicken Shish plate with extra garlic sauce (because let’s be honest, you can never have too much garlic sauce), and my husband went for the Islander plate. Every bite was packed with authentic flavors that instantly took me back to meals at home and my friends’ houses. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and grilled, the sides were fresh and flavorful, and that garlic sauce? Absolutely spot on! It’s rare to find a place that gets Mediterranean food just right, but this spot nailed it. If you’re in Little Rock and craving a real Mediterranean fix, I highly recommend checking this place out. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious food and great service. Last minute we decided to cater dinner for my sisters birthday and she has been wanting some good kebabs. Kebab House was able to accommodate us by making a large pan of chicken, beef kebabs, and rice. While I waited I ordered the fajita gyro lunch plate. It was packed with flavor and juicy meat. I couldn’t finish it so I took it to my brother-in-law and he raved about how good it was. The garlic sauce is DELICIOUS! Make sure you get some with your order.

Google
First time. Food was great! Friendly service with good food suggestions. Spices on the french fries were a good twist on the traditional. Will return! If you found this review helpful, please give it a like!

If you love good food you must go here. Went with some friends for a birthday and tried as many things as we could from the menu. It was all amazing! Kinda a “hole in the wall” local place so not fancy but amazing food at great prices. Staff was also super friendly. Will for sure go back!

Google
I’m so glad we tried Kebab House. We have been several times and the food has been excellent every time. We especially like the Aleppo and Gyro sandwiches. The owner is so kind and lovely to chat with while you wait for your order. Love supporting a local restaurant that is also immigrant owned.

I’ve had Mediterranean food, literally all over the world. Europe, Middle East, America, Central America, homemade by Lebanese, Turkish, Arab, Palestinian… This restaurant is on par with anything around the world. Some people are very very picky with their reviews, but for a lunch joint in a strip mall, this is definitely a five. If you want some real Mediterranean food or Arabic food this is the place to go. Tabouli fresh and outstanding, falafel some of the best in the world, lamb savory, tzatziki so good, hot sauce HOT. Want to enjoy something exotic? Go here!

Google
I wouldn’t say this is a five star restaurant but it might exceed expectations. This place is a fusion restaurant. A mix of American/mexican/greek/arab foods. We were pleasantly surprised by the food here. It was fairly clean and tidy small place. It was empty though we did go around 3. Our only Suggestion would be an improvement in freshness with the baklava. I would return here :).

Yelp
Kebab House is the real deal. These flavors just hit different. Try it once, and you'll be back!

Yelp
The Good: chicken shawarma was really tasty. My friend had the Kofta kebab and the meat was super tasty. The Bad: everything else...rice was bland, salad was fresh but sad, pita bread store bought and unremarkable. All in all pretty average to below average. Definitely not worth the 42 dollars paid for it. Been to Türkiye and the meat was authentic but nothing else was worth it...all served on paper plates with a plastic cutlery finish. Wouldn't come back here.

Yelp
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - ordered a Gyro Plate and a Aleppo Kebab Plate. The gyro was salty but satisfying. The kebab was a ground meat based with a heavy seasoning/herb flavor. Quite tasty but can be polarizing due to its more unique flavor. The bread was quite disappointing as they were more crispy like crackers than fluffy bread. Service: 5/5 - quick service even as it gets to the end of the night. Had a customer freak out since she had yogurt on her dish even though she mentioned she was lactose intolerant Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go Value for price: 4/5 - the serving size was smaller than expected but it was tasty food later at night.

Yelp
Well if you're a regular here, your order is prepared first. So there's that. There's also an odd smell that permeates this establishment. But the food tastes great and prepared with a stable hand.

Yelp
Just found this great kebob place! We all so enjoyed our lunch. The chicken kebob was absolutely delicious! I would do terrible things for the garlic sauce!!

B Genise H.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit in Little Rock! The service is great and the food is delicious! My family loves the cheese cigars, chicken shawarma, falafel, and hummus. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed with all of the flavors!

Yelp
Quality food, quality ingredients, and awesome service! My husband enjoyed the service and food so much that he ended up coming back the same day for a to-go order. He really enjoyed the lamb shank and says he will probably be back a few more times and then some. I tried the kefta plate, although the plate is smaller than most Mediterranean restaurants, you can tell they use quality ingredients. So that is quite alright by my book. Quality over quantity any day. Definitely give Kebab Shop a visit if you're local or in the area! Side note: Don't let the small strip mall store front fool you, the owner brings his recipes from across the pond, delivering pure authentic Turkish cuisine. Do yourself a favor and take a moment to ask him about his recipes - you will appreciate the flavors when the time comes. His level of service and culinary detail is why some people still prefer mom & pop shops over big box chains. One last pro-tip = get the amazing homemade garlic sauce!

Yelp
I ordered delivery yesterday - mixed grilled plate. It was delicious! Even the salad was good. Very filling, and sauces perfectly complimented the meat.

Toni P.

Yelp
Very impressed with the quality and flavor of meats, fresh pitas and best hand cut fries around! We have added the Grand Ave location as a favorite and pick up orders weekly.

Yelp
I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for delicious Mediterranean food. The food quality is great and delicious . The staff are super friendly.

Hope W.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Little Rock! Consistently delicious and fresh food with friendly service! I usually get the chicken shish plate. It's great to get something so tasty that is healthy too.

Yelp
Delicious, economical, and friendly little place in west Little Rock. The gyros and kebabs were satisfying.

Yelp
For a quick lunch, stopped by kebab House that was right around the corner from the hotel where I was staying. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful. I asked for a falafel wrap that I didn't find on the overhead board and he showed me in the menu. I got it to go. It was very tasty. It came with hot sauce and a Tzatziki sauce that heightened the taste. Thanks for the tasty lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
The chicken shawarma and the lamb are my favorite. I love to get the combo with salad and hummus, yummy! Can't recommend this place enough. Great food and great value.

Yelp
Good food and friendly service. We enjoyed our meal very much. And will be back next time we're driving through Arkansas.
google avatar

Jeremy M.

Yelp
It's a cozy restaurant in a strip mall so may not be expecting much, but you will be surprised. The food options are many, the prices and great, and the food itself is just terrific. This family-owned business boasts a friendly staff who are always ready to chat, and who help us feel at home whenever we're there. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Ali K.

Yelp
Fast reliable service The ambience is not the best but the food is authentic and reliable, a bit salty though The beyti sarma was filling but could lose some salt. The hummus is creamy and fresh. The quality and quantity is reliable in terms of the quantity of food and the spice level.
google avatar

Kristin M.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Some of the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. The chicken is charred yet still juicy and tender. You can tell this place really puts love and effort into their food. The customer service was excellent as well!

Kimberly W.

Yelp
I love the hot garlic sauce and food. Its nice and friendly. Also the baklavas are good.
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Went with a group of friends. We ordered an array of things to share--hummus, kebab, soup, salads. Everything was fresh and made to order. The service was also great! Personable and really helpful with choosing items off of the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Hospitality 20/10, food 10/10! They know their food, and are so kind. If you enjoy Mediterranean I highly recommend. If you are new to their menu try the lamb shish kabob plate - you won't regret!
google avatar

Farah A.

Yelp
Today me and my husband tried the Burger and the chicken shawerma. The Burger is so special with authentic Arabic spices. The Shawerma is good served with 2 different sauces.. Service is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. I forgot to take pictures :/
google avatar

Dennis O.

Yelp
My first 5 star and it is based 98% on the food and 2% on the service. Service was fine- friendly and helpful. But the babaganous was the best I have ever had anywhere. Every bit of our food was spot on and very good. Ambiance is a little weak but about standard for a strip mall space. I would return here in a minute it is that good. We cleaned our plate. We had the babaganous appetizer and the mixed grill plate and that was enough for us two old people.. If you like Mediterranean food give this a try.

RoRo M.

Yelp
I had the chicken kebabs very tasty ! And I had the garlic sauce with double rice no veggies and it was delicious

Kim L.

Yelp
SOOOO Good! We found this little hole in the wall while in town for the weekend. My picky 15 yo and my 9 yo loved it as much as my husband and I did. The owner is very personable too. Loved it!

ZaIn S.

Yelp
Hole in the wall Turkish/Mediterranean food! Great taste! Highly recommend chicken gyros!
google avatar

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp when staying in town for a couple nights. The food was delicious!! I had the falafel plate. Service was fast and friendly. I would certainly eat here again.

Scott M.

Yelp
I now another option for gyros in Little Rock. I was pleasantly surprised and is well worth a try.

Yelp
Myself and my gf and friends come here every Thursday. The only thing that beats the hospitality is the food they serve here! I get heir Donner and humus trio everytime and I'm always satisfied! 6/5 stars from me
google avatar

Gary T.

Yelp
I can only comment as a delivery customer, but the food here is EXCELLENT. Love their rice, chicken and lamb. Looking forward to dining in person some day.

Yelp
Delicious! I had the chicken kebab and lentil soup. Truly a tasty meal! My husband had Kofta and cheesy bread. He really liked it too! Would I come back? YES! It was fresh, feel good food.
google avatar

Yelp
Decided to try it out after passing by a few times and I'm so glad I did. Food is spot on every time. Love the chicken shish plate.

Yelp
Loved it!! Shawarma Pizza. Had two! The owner is a great guy. Very customer friendly and values the business. Such a nice quality vs. the chain restaurants.

Andrea L.

Yelp
The Kebab House is really good! They have done catering jobs for us a few times and everything was perfect.
google avatar

Yelp
We were travelling and I wanted some middle eastern food. Kebab House had amazing rating and reviews on yelp so I trusted them and came here. I just tried the chicken Shawarma but it was absolutely amazing. My husband ordered another one to go as he loved the taste too much. Keep up the good work.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here during a work trip and got some takeout. The people that worked there were super friendly! The restaurant is also very clean. Definitely an unexpected little place in Little Rock. I had the gyro plate with rice and salad. There was lots of flavorful, juicy gyro and the salad was dressed very nicely with some kind of citrus dressing. The lettuce was very fresh and crispy! The only minor negative was the rice. It was a little overdone and gummy. Pita was light and fluffy and hummus had good flavor too. Would totally go back if I'm ever back on Little Rock!

Yelp
I went to the Kebab House when it opened, 5 years ago. Food was not good. (Don't stop reading) I had a chance encounter with Someone who is either chef and/or part owner of the Kebab House and I commented on my poor experience, not knowing of his affiliation. I thought I was fair but honest. I was made to understand that the business changed hands and is now much different from my original experience. I promised to try again the following day. I did....I showed up and the person I met the previous day was there and he brought his "A" game. The food was fresh, tasty, savory and each new taste made me happier than the last. This was a pleasure. I will frequent again, regularly. Inexpensive and good...no great.

Lauren C.

Yelp
I LOVE Kebab House! My family goes there frequently. I love the Chicken Shish plate and gyro platter. I've never had a bad meal. They're incredibly kind and they provide great customer service. They're also quick to get your order to you. 10/10 recommend!!!

Amanda P.

Yelp
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Right when we walked in the man behind the counter (I'm assuming the owner) rushed to help me with my son who was sleeping in my arms. He offered a baby seat for him to sleep in and a high chair. Then at the end of our meal he gave my two older sons some candy. The owner was so kind and accommodating...but this wasn't even the best part. The food was amazing! The meat we had with our meals was tender and perfectly charred. If you come to Little Rock this place is a must!

Scott D.

Yelp
Great food at a good value. Lamb kebabs awesome. Best Turkish coffee I have had (other than what my aunt Jean makes for me). Definitely a Little Rock gem. Don't let the casual setting fool you. Great quality flavorful food. I went back a second time in same business Trip. I eat out at least 4 days a week over 40 weeks a year, so a bunch. The quality, value and care the food is made with. Such good flavors. The lamb kebobs were so moist and flavorful!! Baklava awesome. Turkish coffee again great. Mr. Star is a gracious host. Mr. Smile can cook. I will be back.
google avatar

Megan R.

Yelp
The staff there is super friendly!! And so far the food is good. Particularly the lamb. It's not the best I've had but it's still good and came back a few times as it's convenient, close to work, and the guy there is so nice!
google avatar

Bobby J.

Yelp
Excellent, legit Turkish food. No tea, but that's probably do to COVID. We ordered quite the spread and enjoyed everything. I went in thinking this was a doner spot, and it isn't in the traditional sense. There isn't a spread of toppings behind the counter to choose from, though you can still get a kick ass sammich...just made in the back. Good baba, the hummus was kind of bland, but still good. The falafel was standard. The kibbeh was cooked to perfection. The stars were our kabobs. I recommend the Adana, and recommend this place, overall, if you need an authentic taste of some SW Asian grub.
google avatar

Toby T.

Yelp
I decided to visit them on my lunch hour. I had their falafel plate, which included four quarters of flatbread, four balls of falafel, a cucumber and oil salad, and rice. All for under $8! Everything was really good, and I ended the meal feeling pleasantly full. Falafel in general is a little dry, and if I had it to do again (which I one day will), I would (and will) ask for extra yogurt. Just a little. Their falafel is as good as I've had. The rice was sweet and spicy at the same time. The salad was also great. The meal may have been raw ingredients when I arrived; it took them about fifteen minutes to put it in a box and send me on my way. They also gave me a drink for being a Yelper! 8/10, will definitely return and reccommend.

Yelp
Wow this food is really fresh and flavorful. The grilled chicken was awesome. The owner is really nice and treated us well. People we met at the hotel recommended this place to us and it did not disappoint. You have to try it!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious authentic middle eastern food served up by the sweetest gentleman! He is the owner. He's always there, taking orders, checking you out, answering the phones, and getting to know you! I love supporting this small business

Yelp
It was 45 minutes till close when I walked into the nearly empty store front in a Little Rock strip mall. I'd read good things and was hopeful. The man repeatedly pushed me toward the kofte over the Adana kebab. I trusted him. Choosing ezma and baba ganouj as my sides with a coffee to end I settled in. The smells were the first good sign. When he started cooking the aromas wafted from the small kitchen were mouth watering. The plate that arrived was simple. Four pieces of kofte, each on a quarter of warm pita, a small cup of yogurt sauce, the aforementioned sides and a grilled pepper. The pepper had a little spice which was great (spice is the thing). The kofte was moist, with good textures and well seasoned. The ezma was fantastic. The baba good but not amazing. The ambience is basic and feels like a take-away. Finally the coffee. Serves in an ornate saucer cup cover it's slightly spiced and slightly sweet. Perfect. The guy running everything when I stopped by was very friendly and easy but in low maintenance so there's that.
google avatar

Yelp
Every plate I've tried is absolutely delicious. The meats are so well seasoned and the baklava is super yummy. Cannot give it anymore higher praise. Highly recommend this place for lunch and/or dinner.

Yelp
Food was great & I'll tell you why. Lived in Izmir, Turkey for 2 years & my wife is Turkish...we're pretty picky about Turkish food, so we know what to look for. After trying Istanbul Med a few days ago, we decided to give Kebab House a try. We both agreed that this is THE place for some authentic Turkish cuisine. No fancy decor here like the other places in town. Just real, good food & a warm atmosphere. I could even appreciate the sounds of Turkish Super Lig football in the background (I wish they offered the patrons an additional tv for match watching). Anyhow, I had the Adana Kebab & my wife had Lahmacun. They were both excellent. I recommend this place. It's better than Istanbul Med restaurant...if you don't wanna take my word for it, go see for yourself. UPDATE Just an FYI this place is under new ownership & I was told the owners are no longer Türks. I have heard mixed reviews on the place since its been sold.

Yelp
Visiting LR for the week, and wanted to try it because of the Yelp ratings. Really close to our hotel, which was nice. They were all very nice, made good suggestions, and the food was good. For $8.95, I got the beef doner plate. This consisted of a gracious gyro meat portion, some really good fries, a pair of falafels, and a really good pita, cut into fours. It was portioned well, not too much, not too little. Some tzatziki and ketchup accompanied the dish, too. My bf got the chicken doner plate, and said the chicken breast was really moist, which surprised me. I would give it five stars, but unfortunately, I've had better gyro meat in San Diego. I'd still come here though; it's a typical lunch spot that is clean, and serves food hot. Other food items include a selection of salads, some shawarmas, some pita wraps, a flatbread pizza-like thing, hummus, and even rice pudding.
