Good coffee and pastries. Friendly staff and a relaxed vibe in the city centre of Utrecht. Definitely a place worth visiting if you're in for a good cup of coffee or something to eat.

Had a lovely lunch in this charming cafe. Good choices for vegans, I had the Homemade Artichoke Tapenade Sandwich which was delicious, fresh and full of textures and flavour.

Cute little cafe with delicious food (try the cheese scones), tasty coffee and a good tea selection. Very cosy atmosphere and super friendly staff.

To give this 3 stars is generous. I had lunch here with a friend. The waiter cleared a table for us when we entered but never wiped it clean. My friend had to get up to get some napkins and wipe it himself. Then after a long delay someone came to take our order. But we had no drinks menu so I asked for one. He said he’d come back to take our drinks order but never did. So my friend had to walk to the bar to order those. Our meals came after a lengthy wait. Nice quality. But we were halfway through the meal and still had no drinks. I went to the bar to ask if we could get them and was told it would be another few minutes’ wait. How long does it take to put ice in two glasses and serve bottled drinks? If you don’t care about service and have a lot of time to waste, then this is the place for you.

I ordered the morning set. It was a great lunch. I chose a scorn, the scorn was delicious. Inside was soft and outside was crunchy.

One of my favorite Brunch places in Utrecht. Always worth it to order the KEEK board plank to share as you can try many dishes. In picture : caesar salad, hearty carrot turmeric soup, perfectly baked sourdough bread with dips (spinach hummus, black beans and salsa).

I like to come here for breakfast. They serve amazing scones and very good coffee. There are 2 rooms, one of them is a very quite and relaxing - great place to start your day.

Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience here. I was a bit disappointed with the service. Our order (2 cappuccinos, 2 pastries) has been forgotten -which can happen, that was not a problem!- and when we asked about it, they brought our cappuccinos but forgot the pastries we had also ordered. We then had to go up to the staff again to ask about our pastries. Somehow they then only brought 1 cinnamon roll, then realised we had another pastry, but instead of the cake, they brought another cinnamon roll. It just seemed like the staff wasn’t very attentive. HOWEVER, the cappuccino was very nice! I liked the cinnamon roll as well, maybe a bit hard but the flavour was nice and not too sweet. Also the atmosphere was cosy especially on a rainy day.

Yes! KEEK! YES!!!! KEEK brings the happy like you wouldn't believe! I am definitely in love with their cheese "scone" sandwich filled with seasonal grilled vegetables and pesto, yum. By no means is it a scone my friends, but it makes one hell of a delicious sandwich! Le husband had a regular sandwich with grilled Serrano ham, mozzarella and pesto with a cup of jasmine tea and I that wonderful grilled vegetable sandwich with a glass of hot chocolate. First of all, KEEK is an organic eatery but not just any organic eatery; one that truly cares about amazing quality in their products. Their tea is top notch and their hot chocolate (which I suspect they make themselves before service) is seriously the best pre-made hot chocolate I have ever had. So good! The next thing they do to ensure they have the best product is make everything from scratch in their own kitchen. Everything. Well, besides the bread for the sandwiches, they order those daily at another favourite of mine: de Veldkeuken. Can't blame them, I wouldn't want to stay up all night just for one menu item either and Veldkeuken is really good at baking bread. Back to KEEK. About a minute's walk from this location, you have Keuken van KEEK where you can get some simpler sandwiches and all of their baked goods to go. Yum, RUN! You won't be able to get the grilled vegetable sandwich from the to-go location which is a shame, but make sure you try it. So garlicky, so sweet, so delicious! I will probably have "adult dreams" about this sandwich for the next few weeks... Sorry, tmi. As for the vibe here, the interior is really nice, especially the "tea room" in the back which is so serene and full of light. Great for a happy afternoon catching up with friends. The front room is a bit more artsy and that shows in the crowd. I tend to ignore the people around me if the food is good enough to focus on, but le husband felt a bit out of place with some of the other customers which were: hippies, old people and loudly conversing women. Of which the first two were the most bothersome, I agreed on that but like I said, if the food is great, I don't give a shit who else is there. You could have probably placed my in-laws at the table behind me and I would have never noticed. So KEEK. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back asap!

What a cute café in one of the oldest shopping streets in Utrecht. The rooms used to be a tailor shop run by the grandmother of Maria who is now the owner of Kunst en Eerliijke Koffie. Thus not only the street but also the café is full of history. Although the athmosphere is not that stunning, the menue definately is. Selfmade cheese scones, fresh tea and a great combination of sandwich ingredients. The scone made me super full and it is definately a full meal. The coffee was good, too. I really enjoyed my breakfast and the friendly stuff who made my stay a great experience.

Situated in a very quaint part of Utrecht, KEEK is a very homely little restaurant that was recommended by a friend. Even though the name has 'Koffie' in it, a cup of coffee wasn't the first thing that comes to your mind when you find a table inside, as the stuff on display and on the menu is just so amazing. We had sandwiches that were prepared fresh, although nothing special to write about. The house lemonade was quite good. KEEK is also quite a laid back place. We saw a small group use one of the glass partitions for a brainstorming session. The staff is cheerful and hospitable. If I lived in Utrecht, I'd visit this spot a lot more, but it's definitely worth trying more than once.

You will find in this cute little place a great choice of meals for lunch! Everything is homemade further up the street in the little sister version of this "Keek" where you can get your food and drinks to go. In this Keek, you can sit to enjoy your soup/ sandwich/ salad/ cake/ coffee/ smoothie or whatever you fancy having. What I find particularly great here is the scone sandwiches. They make their own cheese scones, and you can have them as a sandwich. I am particularly a fan of the avocado/tomato salsa/ pesto one!! Also, try their gluten free cream cheese brownie, it is TO DIE FOR. And I never exaggerate. (But they also have cheesecake and carrot cake and everything you eat in your wildest dreams.) *Service is super friendly but sometimes slow.*

Oh. My. God. If you come to Utrecht, consider no other place for breakfast! Friendly wait staff (that speak perfect English and have an English menu) and INCREDIBLE scones! Totally lucked into it, and we're so glad we did!
