Tried them for the first time while visiting during the off-season this spring. It was a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food! My wife had the shrimp scampi pasta while I had the filet and Mexican street corn. Absolutely excellent! We will definitely go again, and I recommend you do as well.

We caught the early morning ferry from Hyannis and were ready for a delicious breakfast once we arrived on Nantucket. We headed from the ferry directly to Fog Island Cafe and were able to get a seat right away. Our waitress was pleasant and share the specials with us. I chose to have the Fog Island Fishcake Benedict with home fries. I enjoyed the fishcake and poached egg combo smothered in benedict sauce. I thought that it was a little under seasoned and had to add some salt at the table. My wife had an omelet that looked good and she enjoyed.

Casual atmosphere, good service. We ordered the Mac and cheese, broiled shrimp, Cajun fish tacos, crispy broccoli and Mexican street corn. In general the food was above average quality, only criticism would be that some of the corn was overdone/borderline burnt.

Interesting entree selection, but they don't come with any sides. Have to order sides separately, which cost almost as much as another entree. That said, the entrees, and the family style side, were delicious.

So amazing!! And love that it's open year round. Food is great and service it the best!!

Absoutely delicious and a must if you looking for the best Island breakfast.

Great experience. We were looking for a lighter meal as many of our fine dining on Nantucket so far was rich foods. I ordered a veggie bowl with shrimp and my lovely wife ordered the BLT with steak. Both were perfect amount of food and full of flavor. Service was attentive and quick. We will definitely be back.

My wide and I came here on May 28th with my wife for lunch. Our server Amy (I believe I remembered her name correctly) was nothing short of amazing. She had great suggestions of what to eat and drink and she also was great conversation for two out of state guests just visiting. She was on top of everything, and as busy as it got, and with larger parties near by, she quickly got around to each table to take order bring food and make time to speak with everyone and check if everything was good. She deserves a raise!! As for the restaurant itself the food was really good. We had a bunch of items from the appetizers not realizing how large the portions would be. The guacamole and chips, blackened fish tacos, smoked wings, and grilled garlic bread were all so good. Everything was tasty and fresh. The restaurant is also very clean! If you are looking for a quick bite I definitely suggest checking them out!

Vile and disturbing ownership with a freezer to fryer menu and desserts right off the Sysco truck; Sysco is the premiere national wholesaler to prisons throughout the US, if that gives you any indication what you're in for .

100% would recommend the new Fog Island location. The breakfast was even better than the old location. We had the frosted flake french toast with banana and the "soul sister" scrambler with a side of fruit. All of it tasted fresh and the French toast didn't even need syrup. The staff was very friendly and there is outdoor seating and lots of parking.

This place is outstanding. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, bar none!

Yum!! I love Fog Island breakfasts!! I highly recommend the buttermilk pancakes & the linguica. My husband recommends the Far West Scramble. Delicious. The staff is very friendly & professional. The new location is very tidy & Island perfect!! If you want a great breakfast, head to this gem!!

What can we say, they moved from downtown Nantucket to near the airport and it was a great experience. We had breakfast as usual and the food / service and wait staff was great.

Gavin and Sabrina and their whole team are amazing! I always go here when I'm on the island and they by far have the best guacamole and wings anyone could find.
