Well what a fantastic stop over, mid way through Wainwright's coast to coast walk. The Yurts were spacious and well furnished. Private bathroom facilities were well received, only a brief stroll from the Yurt.||Fabulous friendly hosts added to the quality of our stay, but what really made it for us was quality hot food delivered directly to the Yurt. We both selected the home made shepherd's pit, which was as good as anything I've ever tasted in a restaurant/ A nice wine and beer selection also added to a cheerful evening.||As we were on a schedule we were delighted that high quality breakfast was delivered bright and early allowing us to crack on with our long route over the tops to Reeth and then Richmond topped up on food and away promptly.||Well done all involved||Matt from York & Angus from Brighton

Julia and Jim very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Yurts are excellent and very comfortable. Would recommend. Private waterfall is so pretty too and ideal for a wild water swim. Self catering facilities are also excellent with the choice of breakfast and evening meal delivered to your yurt.

We were lucky with the weather but our three nights here were great. We were a large family group of ages between 1yo and 70yo. Great accommodation in a lovely setting and good food provided.||few of us had 'yurted' before so that was an exciting and good experience.

Booked 2 yurts for family birthday celebrations. Really impressed! The yurts were well organised with everything you need including tea, coffee, milk, fridge, water, wine glasses & mugs. Beds consist of singles with under bed single to sleep 4 with a leather sofa bed if you need to sleep 5. All bedding& towels provided. There’s a log burner which we did use as it got chilly later in the evening.|Each yurt has a key to its own private bathroom with shower in a separate building.|Everything was immaculately clean.|Hosts were lovely.|Thank you

I stayed here with two friends on our Herriot Way hike and we were so impressed and happy with our choice. The yurt was a great size for three of us and very well equipped with a sofa, table, stove, small fridge, kettle and even a travel hairdryer. ||Each yurt has it's own shower and toilet which are also good!||We ate the homecooked meals (shepherds pie and the vegan version of the vegetable stew) and all really enjoyed them. Great portion size too! ||I didn't realise that the site has a private waterfall with a decent sized swimming hole under it and I would definitely have taken advantage if it was a little later in the year, it looked gorgeous!

Great yurt stay. We had two little ones with us. It was a beautiful yurt..stunning location. Shower could have been better. Had to press tap every 5 secs or so. But other than that I can't recommend enough. The owners were sound and welcoming. Would love to return sometime.

Walking the C2C and came here after the long haul over Nine Standards Rigg. Jim and Julie are the perfect hosts and we stayed in the bunkbarn which is an understatement as the apartment was perfectly equipped with lounge, dining table and kitchen and private bathroom. Julie had home cooked beef chilli with rice for our dinner and we had breakfast prepared too. A lovely couple who go the extra mile. I wish them all the best and highly recommend any walkers to stay here to recharge.

"What a truly wonderful stay! The hosts were so warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The property itself is absolutely stunning—complete with a relaxing hot tub, a serene waterfall, and every amenity you could imagine. The surrounding scenery took our breath away, making it the perfect escape. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway."
