"Kelly's Closet is the in-town shopping destination for Indie brides-to-be. The bright and lovely space is filled with lesser known bridal designers, plus new and vintage trims, jewels and headwear. If you're going for a gown, make an appointment ahead of time to be pampered by one of the friendly stylists. But you needn't be walking down the aisle to find something pretty to try on here — the front of the store contains a lovely selection of cocktail frocks and fancy under-things." - Rogers Eckersley Design

Kelly's Closet is a beautiful little shop that is very welcoming and not intimidating. The staff are super nice and I found my beautiful dress that I wore on my wedding day here. Their alterations person is also very good and I was happy with how my dress came out. Two slightly negative things: They did not ask me what my budget was the first time I was in the store so I ended up trying on a dress that was very over budget. It's partly my fault for forgetting to check, but bridal shops should always ask about budget. Additionally, they have a small selection of veils and the saleswoman didn't know anything about veils so it made that process very frustrating and stressful and I ended up getting my veil at another shop. Overall, I would recommend Kelly's Closet if you have a good idea of what you are looking for because the staff is super nice and they have beautiful dresses.

THIS SHOP IS A MUST FOR BRIDAL DRESS SHOPPING. I stumbled across this gem of shop and was won over by the reviews (and will echo them!) I went to countless bridal shops and this place was such an amazing experience. The environment was relaxed and fun, the selection was great, but most of all the stylists are the most incredible people. I highly recommend Rebecca and Kayla. They make you feel so beautiful and are so creative to help you find a gorgeous dress. They let you bring in food, drinks, champagne and you can go and help pull dresses! They are also so transparent about the price and can help find pieces that match your budget! I was having second thoughts about a dress and Kelly herself talked to me and arranged for me to come back to the shop. She was so helpful and wonderful in a stressful experience. Wedding planning can be stressful, so I highly recommend this place if you want a more fun and relaxed shopping experience!

I don’t even know where to begin. Rebecca was an incredible consultant from the first time I walked in the door. She took Into consideration what I thought I liked, what looked good, and the meandering ramblings of what thoughts exiting my mouth - even when they most likely made no sense as to why I did or didn’t like something. I bought a sample dress and they were able to walk me through the next steps, including recommending a trusted cleaners. Alterations were great but at the end I felt something still didn’t feel right. Kelly, Rebecca, and everyone in the salon helped me to problem solve what was feeling off - and even were ready if I decided (with two weeks to go) if I wanted a new dress (Oy I know). With more alterations and adding a sash sewn in, and 40min conversation about bra options 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂 I felt wonderful and ready to go!! Thank you for your patience, understanding, helpfulness, and being there when I kind of just wanted to talk it through with my mom. thank you for helping me feel beautiful.

Google
I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Kelly's Closet. This appointment was for my daughter. The shop is just the most charming space and we felt comfortable immediately. The gowns are simply gorgeous. I was almost in tears looking through all of the beautiful inventory - you can see the workmanship and detail in every piece. The staff (especially Lo) were so welcoming, kind, and friendly. This is a special place! Highly recommend

I had an exceptional experience at Kelly's Closet bridal boutique as a plus-size bride. Kelly's warm welcome and genuine support alleviated my anxieties about dress shopping. The extensive selection of dresses catered to various sizes, and Kelly's expertise helped me find several stunning options that perfectly matched my preferences. What sets Kelly apart is not only her ability to understand individual tastes but also her thorough explanation of the entire dress selection and ordering process. She provided a clear alteration schedule, ensuring that I'll be perfectly ready for my big day. Kelly's attention to detail and commitment to making the experience seamless added an extra layer of confidence to my dress journey. I appreciate her inclusive approach, outstanding customer service, and professionalism. Kelly's Closet is a five-star bridal boutique that truly caters to brides of all sizes, making the journey to finding the perfect dress a memorable and delightful one.

Google
I had a great experience buying my wedding dress here! Kelly and the whole team were all so sweet and genuine and helped me find the perfect dress. I liked that they booked alterations in several rounds to get the best fit and ensured everything was perfectly altered. Highly recommend!!

Google
I would 100% recommend future brides to visit Kelly's Closet for their wedding dress. All the girls were such a great support system throughout the wedding dress process. From the first try on, to saying "yes", to the alterations appointments, to when I picked it up the week of the wedding, the girls always hyped me up through it all! Even when I had my doubts they reassured me that my dress was a great choice. I never felt like just another bride and they really made me feel special. Their service was wonderful and I loved that I was able to have the dress altered in house and didn't have to worry about figuring that out on my own. I was sad to say goodbye - but hopefully I have friends in ATL and beyond that choose to visit Kelly's Closet for their big day so I can go back and live vicariously through them! Thank you all again for an amazing experience!

Google
My experience at Kelly's Closet was truly unmatched. After disappointing experiences at other bridal shops, I had the best time with Kelly. She was very personable and had answers to all of my questions. She was able to help me narrow dresses down, find dresses that complimented my style, and helped with designing my dream dress. She had a deep understanding of what alterations and customizations could be made to the dresses, which was super helpful to a novice like me. Alterations being in-house is also a huge perk! I'm so excited to be a Kelly's bride!

Yelp
I don't have enough positive words about Kelly's Closet. Not only is the selection absolutely amazing but Kelly herself is incredible. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares and cares brightly and is so passionate about meeting people where they are at. Kelly, thank you for the atmosphere you created for me. Yes the dress I found was incredible, but you were the joy. I can't recommend her shop enough. The shop is unique in its atmosphere where it feels personal and curated. Kelly has an eye for her selection that is unlike most traditional shops. I'm a very fashion forward person and found MULTIPLE dresses I loved. But the selection was not limited to what I loved but could see many different style options available. The staff was friendly and kind but Kelly is what makes it so incredible. I only want to get married once but if I could get married a million times I'd come back to Kelly for every single one. Again, Kelly, thank you.

Julie R.

Yelp
Great vibe. I went here as support for my friend, who was at the beginning of trying to figure out what type of wedding dress she'd want. The range of prices is approximately $1k-$10k, and the majority of the dresses I saw were between $3k and $6k. This is a good place to start looking. It's a boutique so you're not guaranteed to find something that is exactly what you want among the selection they have. My friend's appointment was 90 minutes. Sam was helping her, and Sam was wonderful.

Casey K.

Yelp
Kelly's Closet was the best experience I had trying on wedding dresses! Rebecca was my consultant and she was amazing. She was so helpful and genuine. I could not recommend this store more!

Linda G.

Yelp
There is nothing cookie cutter about this boutique bridal shop. Kelly, the owner and Rebecca, our consultant made the entire experience extraordinary. My future daughter looked beautiful in everything.

Bong Kwon S.

Yelp
Kelly's closet was one of the best service wedding dress shop i have been to! My person was named Rachel and she was the sweetest and honest person to give feedback on what i wear + budget! They also have good variety of dresses those are with different budgets! Highly recommend!

Rebecca P.

Yelp
I want to leave a glowing review but unfortunately I can't. I tried dealing directly with Kelly but there was no follow through. Great dresses very poor customer service!

Aysia C.

Yelp
Wow! This was a better experience than I could have ever imagined. I'm one of 3 girls, and the last to get married - so my family has spent a good bit of time in bridal shops over the past 4 years. At the end of my first appointment with Kelly's, every single one of us walked put of the store and exclaimed "that was an amazing experience!" There was no pressure to buy right away, or rush through the appointment. I worked with Gia and she made me feel so special and beautiful throughout the entire process. In fact I loved Gia so much I invited her to my wedding (lol). She spoke with kindness, and allowed me to complain about my areas of insecurity without putting me down for being so negative. Simultaneously, she also complimented generously and empowered me. On top of all that, the dresses were absolutely STUNNING with so many options. We drove 2.5 hours for this shop, and I've since encouraged all my engaged friends to go here!

Krista A.

Yelp
Worst dress shopping experience of my life. I'm not in my twenties so a bit older then the rest of the clientele on the day of my visit. I am a size 8, not an unreasonable or unusual size but nothing I wanted to try on was available to try in a big enough size to fit me. Every dress my consultant brought me I had to squeeze into some I couldn't try on at all they were so small. Under the circumstances nothing looked good nor could I imagine ever buying any of them. It was humiliating and I honestly can't believe it really happened. I literally left the shop and sat in my car outside and cried. Then I went to Prada on a trip to Manhattan and bought a beautiful dress in a size 44 and love it. Do not shop here if you are above a size 4 or 6.

Yelp
I never leave reviews, but felt I needed to here since my experience was SO wonderful. Madison was my stylist and was so incredibly helpful!! She listened to exactly what I wanted, helped me pick out dresses that would look best with my body and fit my style, was so encouraging, and gave me helpful and honest opinions on the dresses I was deciding between. Prior to my visit at Kelly's, I had visited a different bridal shop and had a pretty negative experience (stylist wasn't very engaged, made me try on every different style of dress instead of the ones I wanted, etc). I was feeling pretty discouraged going into my next appointment, but as soon as I got to Kelly's and met with Madison my mood completely 180'd. A few weeks before my appointment I contacted Kelly's to see if they had a particular Sarah Seven dress on the floor that I could try on. When I got to my appt. the dress was already pulled and ready for me to try on. Although I didn't end up going with that particular dress, I had 3 different dresses I was deciding between and would've been happy with. With the help of my friends, mom, and Madison, we decided on the most perfect dress(Sarah Seven) for my beach wedding and I couldn't be happier!! I was a little nervous to go dress shopping during COVID, but Kelly's did a wonderful job cleaning and sanitizing in between every appointment, only having one appt. with 1 bride and 2 guests in the shop at a time, and mandating everyone wear masks. I seriously can't say enough wonderful things about Kelly's closet and my experience there!!! The only thing I will say is they carry mostly modern and boho type dresses, so just make sure you look through some of their photos and designers before you book an appointment.

Sammi D.

Yelp
Went here with the bride-to-be as her Maid Of Honor, I scheduled all of her bridal appointments and we had a 16 hour day of dress shopping. Kelly's was our first stop. They are very strict with the hour appointments slots so you do have a fast paced environment but our consultant was amazing and super helpful and tuned into what we wanted. We didn't buy her dress from here but I would highly recommend this place! SIDE-NOTE: there's a place across the street, it's like a little corner market. It doesn't look like much from the outside but when you go in, wow! Biggest selection of beer and craft beers I've ever seen at a place of this size, great chilled champagne selection, and there's a little deli in the back as well. Really awesome little neighborhood spot.

Yelp
Kelly's Closet is a sweet little shop! Gia and Raven were kind, helpful, patient, and understanding. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. They have a great selection of dresses. I was able to try on several beautiful dresses in my smaller budget.

Stephanie K.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I did find my dress here, so it was a good experience, just not outstanding. Kelly's Closet is different from a lot of the other boutiques that I had visited, but in an good way. The store is super quaint and cute. Not huge, but every wall and window is lined with dresses, so the selection is still fairly large. They also have an entire wall of sample sale dresses that are at an incredible discount (I got mine at 70% off ticket price) and not ratty and old like many other sample sales. My consultant, Jenny, was also really great. You could tell that she's been doing this for a while, because she was so knowledgeable and to-the-point. Not the most welcoming or talkative of consultants, but that kind of stuff doesn't matter to me, as long as you know what you're doing. She could tell when I was and wasn't excited about a dress, and was able to pull other dresses that she thought I would like. She did stay with me in the dressing room when I got in and out of the dresses, which made me a little uncomfortable at first because no other boutique had done this, but after a while I got the feeling that this is just what she does and it's not a big deal to her so I just went with it. Cons: You do have to share the boutique (which is just one giant room, not sectioned off with anything) with other customers, which felt a little busy for me. I was distracted by everyone talking and moving around, which I wasn't crazy about. Also, while I did not have a specific budget, I know most brides do. Jenny did not ask us about it at all, which makes me wonder if she would have taken that into account if I did. Just something to consider, because they do carry mostly designer brands here. Logistically, there is no parking, but street parking isn't too hard to find in this area, so I would not worry about it too much. The purchasing process was also incredibly easy and quick, and they store the purchased dress for you until you're ready for alterations. I am especially excited that the alterations are on-site, so I don't have to worry or fuss about finding a good seamstress. Overall, I had a great time here and would recommend it. There are just some little things that would have made my experience here much better.

Yelp
It's hard to put into words how amazing this business and its employees are. From the start of my bridal shopping experience, I felt welcome and comfortable and fully encouraged to explore all types of dresses and options. Rachel, the associate who assisted me, went out of her way to get my questions answered directly from designers and was also extremely patient with me, as it took me 3 visits to fully feel out a potential dress. Not only Rachel but every employee I encountered was positive, uplifting, honest and warm. You really feel like you're shopping in your best friends closet. Thank you so much to Kelly's Closet and their wonderful employees for making my wedding dress experience so much fun and positive!

Yelp
This review is long overdue. I purchased a floor sample gown from Kelly's early in 2020 and was married in October 2020. From the beginning, I knew I had walked into a special place. Madison was aware of my budget restrictions and selected some beautiful dresses (and crowd-pleasers too!). When I tried on The One, I started crying immediately. I know not everyone is this lucky. Fast forward to alterations where my budget issues popped back up again. Kelly was SO sweet and worked with me to make the magic happen. Nora, the seamstress, is world-class. She did a fantastic job on the dress. I knew going in that I wasn't looking for a show stopper or an over the top super dramatic dress with all the bells and whistles and more. I wanted something that fit my personality, my budget, my venue, and my husband and I's style. Kelly's team and the dress they found for me were all of that and more. This is a homegrown shop made with love and kindness and they will go above and beyond for you. Good luck to all other COVID brides!

Yelp
I went to a handful of stores while dress shopping, and Kelly's Closet was such a wonderful place to visit. I went on a weekday afternoon and was the only customer in the store. Rachel was absolutely wonderful, welcoming, and helpful by encouraging me to try on a variety of dresses but also listening to my preferences. I didn't end up finding my dress here, but I loved my experience in the store.

Samantha S.

Yelp
I had the absolute BEST experience at Kelly's Closet. For starters, Madison was so sweet and made me feel extremely special. It was my first time trying on dresses and she was so helpful with finding me dresses that met my budget and fit my style. I felt absolutely zero pressure- she was not pushy and did not rush me. She also asked me questions about me and my fiancé, my wedding, etc and I felt like she really cared. She made this experience so special for my guests and I. I'm so glad I found my dress here and I would recommend Kelly's Closet to any bride looking for a dress/wanting an amazing experience!!!! Kelly's Closet was also extremely responsive as I navigated through rescheduling my appointment multiple times due to the pandemic. They were also very careful, clean, and cautious which made me and my guests feel extremely safe. I really can't say enough good things about this place!

Jessica L.

Yelp
My experience here was wonderful from start to finish! I live in DC, am getting married in DC, but wanted to do my dress shopping in Atlanta since my family and most of my bridesmaids are there. I called Kelly's Closet several months ago and explained my situation and they were great. A few places I called weren't helpful at all (one even told me buying a dress in Atlanta while getting married in DC was not smart), but that wasn't my experience at all with Kelly's. The girl I spoke to was friendly and laid out my options for me and made it seem like it would be an easy process. So fast forward a few months to my visit. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and taken to our little space for dress shopping. Madison was wonderful! She allowed my bridesmaids, my mom, and my grandma to walk around and pick out dresses, while she and I walked around together picking things out. She was attentive and listened to my ideas and pulled a lot of dresses that I loved that I don't think I would have picked on my own. I also never felt pressured to buy a dress here. I found 2 dresses that I loved, but just wasn't quite ready to commit (this was my first shop and first time trying on wedding dresses). Madison took my measurements and wrote down the two dresses with all the details and told me to call or stop back by if I decided one of them was the one. The store itself is super cute too. When they're busy it's a little hard to look at some of the racks of dresses, but they've done a good job of really maximizing the space they have. While I ultimately didn't find my perfect dress here, I 100% would recommend Kelly's Closet to any bride!

Jaz T.

Yelp
Kelly's Closet is nestled in a bustling neighborhood with other shops and restaurants. Because of this, street parking can be a little tough but you won't need to walk far. I scheduled an appointment for my friend (the ride). It was very quick and easy. Kelly (yes she's actually there!) even asked questions regarding budget and style preferences so that her staff could better prepare for our visit. In addition, she recommended their second store location which sells more off the rack dresses. On appointment day, we (the bridal party) were super excited. We even brought wedding wands with streamers and bells. The shop was very busy and we showed up with a few more people (kids) than I said were coming. It was totally fine. They ensured we all had a place to sit together. Our consultant watched carefully as we pulled dresses for the bride. When we were finished, she pulled other dresses that she thought would fit the bride's taste/style. All customers in the shop seemed to be receiving great service from consultants who genuinely love what they do and want to help you find the perfect dress. Ultimately, we didn't find THE dress at this store, but the positive experience gave us fuel to continue on our search. It also set the customer service bar HIGH for the rest of the shops we visited.

Hannah B.

Yelp
If I wasn't a a plus size bride I probably would have loved this store. The dresses are absolutely beautiful. But I felt completely out of place as soon as the experience began. The consultant listened to me talk about the vibe of my wedding and what I was looking for then gave zero suggestions to dresses and seemed uninterested compared to my other bridal appointment consultants at other stores. My mom and I picked 4 dresses which I did manage to get on to my body (barely) but I couldn't imagine what any of them would really look like if they were my actual size. I saw one gown that would have been for a plus size bride but was in a more bohemian style that I wasn't going for. In this day and age it's disappointing that bridal experiences are still reserved mainly for women that are model size vs. the average woman which is closer to a 16-18 in the United States. The store promotes body positivity online with posted rules to not say "fat" and other negative words about your body in store. I wish it promoted inclusivity as well by stocking a diversity of sizes in their samples.

Malorie P.

Yelp
Unfortunately Kelly's did not have much for me to try on as a plus-size bride. The consultant was very nice and even was able to recommend a different shop for me to contact. Most of the sample dresses only went to size 12. I did have the option to pay $150 to have a dress shipped in my size to try on later but smaller girls can try on dresses all day for free. I did take their recommendation of another shop and found something there.

Casey B.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about Kelly's Closet. I brought my sister and best friend to watch me try on dresses for the first time and I will not go to another shop, they have totally won my loyalty. Laura was amazing, I am so sad she's leaving - I would send all of my friends to her. For a smaller shop, they have enough styles to please the pickiest bride (which I am). I tried on at least 12 dresses in all different styles and never felt rushed or pressured into any of them. I came in with a specific Jenny Packham dress in mind (which I loved) - Laura pushed me to try a different dress that I was not enthused about when it was on the hanger, but holy crap, it was so stunning on that its my top choice now. If you want to feel beautiful and pampered, seriously make an appointment at Kelly's Closet (that way you get guaranteed time), you will not be disappointed. **UPDATE** I purchased my dream dress during one of Kelly's sample sales. At 55% off, it was much closer to my original budget. After a good cleaning, its good as new. I can't wait to wear it next year!

Gabriela G.

Yelp
I had an appointment at Kelly's. It was "nice." I tried on about 6 of their dresses and fell in love with one of them. The service was pretty good....not phenomenal like at "The Sentimentalist," but definitely better than at some of the other ones. They say all the right things and ask all the right questions but don't really make you feel special, and don't really pick out options for you that maybe you didn't think of on your own. It's still a fantastic layout, and by far, one of the better dress shops in Atlanta. The selection is good, but won't blow you outta the water. The environment/glass windows, the way they show their dresses, and the couch area for friends and loved one, is 5 stars for sure. There is street parking and you might get away with parking across the street in the supermarket lot.

Julia M.

Yelp
I loved Kelly's Closet so much! My stylist Seyi was amazing. She understood my style immediately and ended up picking out better dresses for me than I picked for myself. All of the dresses were beautiful --I feel in love with a few. I ultimately ended up buying elsewhere due to budget but Kelly's Closet was by far my favorite bridal boutique and would definitely recommend!

Allyson T.

Yelp
I came to this bridal salon for the first time this past weekend for a visiting friend who was recently engaged. Its tucked in the Candler Park neighborhood, right next to Dr. Bombay (which we went to right before our appointment and I completely recommend doing that, as well!). The store is beautiful and has a ton of dresses without being overwhelming. For my friend's very first bridal appointment, this was a great experience. We got to look around the store and try on at least a dozen dresses without ever feeling rushed or pressured to buy. This is definitely the place to come if you're looking for something a little different (also, tons of dresses with sleeves, which, in my experience, isn't super common either). Kudos to our consultant, Natalie. It was a very relaxing experience. We even got champagne and a few olives and crackers to munch on. The only things I would caution people about is the price point and sizing. The dresses we picked ranged from around $3k to $7k. That is fairly typical for high end bridal, but there were a few dresses whose price caught us off guard. And for sizing, sample gowns will almost never fit perfectly on anyone and they do their best to show you how the dress will fall in the right size, but if you are a plus size bride, there may not be as many options. There is street parking available very close to the store. I've never had any issues parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

Jessica B.

Yelp
I've popped into Kelly's so many times to try on different dresses, and each time I had great experiences. I did ultimately buy my dress there, but even the previous times the staff and owner were so helpful, and I never felt pressured to buy anything, or that I was wasting their time as I browsed. I'd been to a lot of trendy bridal shops in Atlanta, and every time I felt like I was being judged the whole time, how much could I afford, was I going to buy this day or not, was I cool enough, but not here. There's a reason Kelly's is an Atlanta institution. They are an amazing staff, a beautiful store, and a wide range of price points. Very happy to have found my dress through them. Also, pro tip: they have the best garment tape!

Liz G.

Yelp
If you don't want to be pressured or engage in way too much small talk, this is the place! When I was shopping, I hated how sales people would try and get so many details about my personal life to try and form a connection. The shopping experience at Kelly's is simple because the dress selection speaks for itself! I got my unique liancarlo dress here last December and I loved how they did alterations on site. Kelly monitored my alterations process from start to finish and provided me with advice when no one could attend appointments with me. Finding a dress is so stressful, so go to Kelly's if you want piece of mind that the entire process will be made simple by the amazing staff!

Yelp
Listen up party people. I so rarely write reviews but could not possibly go without sharing my incredible experience with every person I encountered at Kelly's Closet while planning my wedding. Let me first note that I am not a traditional wedding magazine bride. I am a voluptuous woman of size who two days ago married my transgender partner. Much of my wedding was not planned based on tradition but rather what felt right and good and authentic for my partner and me. My genius mom made an appointment at Kelly's Closet and while I was open to going, I certainly wasn't feeling sure that I'd find something. I came in with my quirky friends and family, and was immediately made to feel right at home, oh so special, and totally heard. We met with Natalie who listened as I told her about my partnership, my wedding, and my unique personal style. She was fun, adaptable, and so helpful. I ended up choosing a gown (the Patchouli dress from Claire Pettibone's Romantique collection) that she actually pulled for me halfway through my appointment. It wasn't what I had imagined for myself but was beautiful, whimsical, and perfect. Throughout the process of choosing, buying, and altering the dress, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) was dreamy and lovely. Even when I was freaking out a bit because I wondered if my gown could be made in my size, everyone was totally reassuring and realistic. I never once felt like I needed to be more "bridal" or traditional, but rather felt like I was celebrated for who I am and the love my partner and I share. For anyone wondering if you're "right" for Kelly's Closet because you're quirky or "non traditional" or because you're curvy and fabulous, please wonder no more. You are. I am so glad that I only went there for my dress shopping experience, particularly as I hear about horror stories at other salons and stores. You will feel special and heard and lovely just as you are. Every wedding dress shopping experience should be so affirming and magical.

Yelp
The ladies who work here are AMAZING. They are so sweet and helped me find my dream dress! I highly recommend!!

Claire G.

Yelp
Kelly's closet was the worst experience I had picking out a wedding dress. The sales associates were not helpful at all. We sat waiting for them for 15 minutes, they asked many questions about what I was looking for and budget and then didn't provide a single suggestion or even point me toward an area of the store where I would find what I was looking for. I had called in advance to let them know I am a plus size bride (size 16) and ask i would have any trouble trying on dresses. They said it would be no problem. Well, I couldn't even get my arms through the sample size dress they had me try on, and then they wanted me to walk all the way across the store in front of the many other shoppers with my boobs hanging out to show my friends the dress. Truly I'm shocked I managed to not cry in the store. I would avoid at all costs unless you are a millionaire model who doesn't mind being treated poorly. Didn't even mention how many times my skin was clipped by the sales associate trying to help me see what a dress would look like if it was 10 sizes larger:

Yelp
Kelly's Closet was simply wonderful!!! I can't say enough good things about this shop and all of their employees!! I called ahead and let them know that I was looking to try on dresses but I really wanted to include my 3 and a half year-old stepdaughter. My group included 4 close friends, 2 babies (9 months and 8 months), and a full blown mimosa bar that we came with in tow. The babies crawled around, my girlfriends had a blast and never had an empty glass, and my stepdaughter went back and forth between trying on a flower girl dress that they had in the shop and one that I brought for her - she was the center of the show which is exactly what I wanted! Lo was my consultant and I would never have known that I was her "first bride". The owner Kelly stayed close in case Lo had questions and both Kelly and Lo were fabulous! I'm also a unique bride because I have had a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgeries. I told them immediately that I didn't want anything strapless and wanted to be comfortable in covering my scars. I never once felt uncomfortable in a single dress because they pulled PERFECT options for me! The dresses are stunning, the shop is perfectly charming in every way, and the staff was so accommodating and welcoming! BIG thank you to Kelly, Lo, and Kelly's Closet for a wonderful experience!!!

Yelp
This was my first bouquet to look for a wedding dress. I saw them on Instagram and decided to check them out (and their sample sale). I had Katie help me. She was super kind and never pushy with any of the dresses. They had a plethora of dresses but unfortunately, I wasn't able to find my dream dress. Even though I didn't find a dress, the staff was all really kind and accommodating. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the parking is awful. It's all street parking and we circled around a few times to find a decent parking spot.

Yelp
Thank you Kelly's closet for your support, creativity and knowledge about all things bridal! I can not say enough about this bridal boutique- Winston (my sales assistant/mentor through this whole process) was fantastic and fun. The environment was comfortable, supportive, honest and loving. I found my ideal wedding dress here and when I mentioned some alterations that I wanted to make Kelly herself got right on the phone with the designer. You can not find a better or more caring store than this. There are so many decisions to make about your wedding day, some are difficult and others are just plain impossible- do yourself a favor and try Kelly's closet, it will be the best and easiest decision you can make!

Yelp
I wrote an email and called twice to inquire about a Lihi Hod dress that I loved. Not only they never replied to my email but both times I called I was told that they were going to check the inventory and get back to me. They never did. I would have loved to know about that dress and if not of other styles from the same designer. Bad customer service! obviously I will never make an appointment with them!

Yelp
This place is amazing! They are slammed packed all the time, so make sure you get an appointment, and don't be afraid to walk up and ask someone if they can help you once you get there...they are very busy, but they will help you immediately and it will be the best experience ever! I tried on so many pretty dresses, and Gina, the lady helping me was amazing! She made me feel so pretty, yet she let me and my friends say our opinions without being pushy in any way trying to "make a sale". I actually got stuck between two dresses, and she didn't push them on me at all...in fact she told me to go home and think about the dresses and to come back when I feel like I can't live without one of them. I thought that was so amazing! NO pressure! The bridal boutique is smaller, but soooo beautiful with amazing designers. It is a little more pricey than some around town, but well worth the money. Also, i want to clarify one "rumor" i had heard...which was that they mark up prices...and this is 100% not true...they just carry more expensive designers. I actually called the headquarters of both dresses i liked and asked them for the retail pricing, and Kelly's closet was on the low end of the suggested retail range. AMAZING experience, and i highly recommend asking for Gina when you make you appointment. She is a bundle of sunshine!

Yelp
I loved this place! Elizabeth was SO cool and they even accommodated me bringing my 5-year-old son who insisted on "helping". Plus they had the prettiest dresses I had seen anywhere, lots of vintage lace and non-white colors. Pretty sure I'll be buying my dress here next time I go in, the dress I wanted will be discounted at their March trunk show. Plus it's right next to my favorite restaurant LaFonda! Lol. Love!!!!

Yelp
Kelly's Closet is a special place. I had the most amazing consultant (Katie). She made the experience an absolute joy. Every dress was more beautiful than the rest-I have a unique style and was always nervous that I would not find a dress I loved, but the Closet was a dream come true. They got my style immediately-listened to everything I had to say and my main concerns. Also, as someone who has struggled with body image it was such a validating and body positive experience. If you are a bit of a funky, bohemian or just different bride this place is your dream. Everything about the experience was warm, inviting, intentional, and special. I will always remember my day here, it was truly phenomenal.

Yelp
I had an appointment and was greeted by the greeter. Of course I was a little early so she just told me to walk around to look for a few dresses for a minute and apologized for them being behind. One lady i. the back corner was wrapping up and the front person said I would be next. I continue looking at dresses and look up and a group of ladies walk in and the front greeter sits them down where I was suppose to be sitting. My appointment was at 11:30 and it was now 11:44. She looks up and then says to me that such and such is almost done and pointed to this little black girl that works in the shop. I guess since I am a person of color I should be with her... i'm confused or do I not "look" like I come from money or something. I just walked about and said don't worry about it.

Yelp
I had the best experience at Kelly's Closet! I was very overwhelmed and inexperienced with the bridal gown process and the ladies at KC took such good care of me. I chose to visit KC because I wanted to try Alexandra Greco gowns and I am so happy I did. They have a gorgeous selection and their team made the process extremely fun. Their selection is varied enough that you have every style to choose from and broad enough that you can tweak the small things to find exactly what you are looking for. Shout out to Jenny who made the selection and purchasing process a breeze and worked with me to get my dress rushed and shipped cross country. The last thing you need when picking your wedding gown is to feel indecisive or unconfident but Jenny was able to put my thoughts and feelings into words and help me sift through lots of options for my dress. Thank you again!

Yelp
I just went to Kelly's Closet and I had a wonderful time! Their customer service was incredible! The lady assisting me was extremely patient and kind and made me feel like a princess! The only thing I wish was different were the dress sizes. I'm not small, but I'm not big by any means and not one dress fit even close which was a little discouraging. It would be nice to have bigger sizes or more dresses with varying sizes so you can get a better picture of how the dress looks on you. Either way I would totally recommend this place to all of my girlfriends. It was a fun experience and there are so many gorgeous dresses to choose from!

Yelp
I was weary to go to a small bridal shop and thought their selection might be limited BUT it is an absolutely beautiful curated collection. This IS the shop for any discerning bride. They also boast excellent customer service, well priced gowns and an excellent selection of bridal accortramounts i.e. veils, hair pieces, jewelry. And all right here in Candler Park, a real neighborhood gem! Absolutely worth the drive if you are coming from anywhere else. Highly recommend that you come in.

Yelp
In my ideal alternate universe, this nice little boutique would be "R.Kelly's Closet" and the friendly and helpful staff would deliver all speech in that sing-songy lilting R&B style. I can see it now... (tingly piano, "boop-whip!" riff) Believe it or not, I was getting engaged (oooooh!) To a beautiful girl but we was broke as shit (oooh!) We went down to Candler Park for a bite to eat - Found something unexpected walking down the street (oooh!) A tiny bridal boutique with dresses colored white The expression on my woman's face turned to delight (oooh!) We made an appointment and went inside Oooh, but little did I know my finances were about to go on a ride! She tried on one dress, then she tried on two more When I looked at the price tag, my jaw about hit on the floor! (oooh!) We thought we could afford it so I reached in to my pooooocket... But then the moths started flying out when I opened up my wallllet! I turned towards the door! I took her by the hand! I walked to the door! She tried to demand! We left Kelly's Closet! Yes we left Kelly's Closet! We really liked Kelly's Closet! But we couldn't afford Kelly's Closet! (closet... closet... closet...) Seriously, though. This is a great little bridal boutique thing, but it's definitely a cut above - everything there was at least $1500 or so, which was a bit outside our range. SO I PULLED OUT MY GUNNNNNN! (no, not really.)

Yelp
While I still haven't made a decision about purchasing a dress, I just want to quickly say that I had a WONDERFUL visit to Kelly's Closet! I'm a curvy girl, hourglass, typical dress size 14, and a few of the reviews on here made me skeptical of even trying Kelly's Closet. So glad I went there anyway! They had several options for me to try one, they were super welcoming, encouraging and warm, and my consultant - Natalie - was amazing! I loved their selection of dresses, very unique, unlike anything I've tried on in other stores. Fabulous experience, make sure you come here!

Yelp
Maybe it's a little weird for a guy to write a review of a wedding dress boutique? Well, no matter, because I have an opinion on the place, regardless, and hey, I'm gay, so that practically means you are dying to hear my take on the dresses, right? Well, let me start by saying this: I have never been wedding dress shopping before my friend brought me along to find her the perfect dress. I have heard that it can be fun, and I was hoping that our experience would be good. When we walked into the shop, we were greeted by Kelly herself, and instantly, she was friendly, and amazingly personable for someone who didn't know us at all. She gave us a quick rundown of how the shop was organized, and told us some tidbits about the dresses (like that some things could be changed on some of them if we didn't like them), and then did something impressive; she backed off, and let us just browse the shop. While we walked through the shop and browsed the dresses, we made jokes about some of the styles, and I honestly was worried about Kelly overhearing, but she had witty quips of her own to add; she was so friendly, and amazing, that the experience started off, and went well throughout. My friend tried on several dresses, and because I am male, I waited in the main area while she was changing, and the other shop/wedding dress fitter (?) was talkative and very nice. We talked about the dresses, and everything was wonderful. The absolute best, most standout part of the experience, and one that I am sure Kelly is known for, and keeps the busniess RUNNING her way, was how she was not fixated on the price of the dresses; she wanted my friend to find the dress she wanted, in the price range she was looking for. Kelly didn't pressure her into anything; she wasn't throwing clothes over the dressing room door, in the way that they can do at many clothing stores, and was instead, very attentive to my friend's needs. I was majorly impressed by her business style, and I can tell you, that if I was a woman, and in need of a wedding dress, I would want to get it here. This place is a gem of a shop, located in the cute little strip in Candler Park. If you are in need of a dress for a wedding, you should definitely check this place, because the worst thing that could happen, is that you have a great experience looking at dresses. HIGHLY recommended.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. There were no groups of loud women or pushy salespeople to be found. (Side note: Why do some brides like to bring everyone and their mother along for dress shopping?) Can we talk about how awesome it was to be surrounded by gorgeous, vintage-looking gowns and a sizeable sample sale? I felt confident that I was going to find what I was looking for because there were so many unique options. I gathered three or four gowns and got started... The second one was THE one. I'm here to say that you can find your dress without yelling, crying, or fighting, unlike what you might see in "Say Yes to the Dress." Kaylan was really helpful and more like a sister than a salesperson, so I was very thankful for that. They're doing renovations now, so I'm excited to see what the store will look like when I go back for alterations. Shopping local has never been more fun!

Yelp
Get your wedding dresses here, ladies! How can you resist a place that has shag carpeting and a staff that makes you feel like on only bride on earth?? I've never run into another bride at the salon and Danielle was amazing. They have the kind of gowns for the kind of gal that doesn't want a big poofy dress from Brides magazine. The prices range from the affordable to the....not in my wedding budget realm. Give it a shot and bring a fun friend with you!

Yelp
While on the odyssey for my sister's wedding gown, Kelly's Closet was one of our many, many stops. It was by far our favorite, even though we didn't find "the" dress there. They offer seriously distinct and unique pieces, everything was completely unlike what we had seen at all of the other bridal salons. The store was small and therefore you received a ton of attention. I think my sister tried on every dress in the store and our saleswoman was happy to help her. The dresses are definitely different, so if you're looking for that quintessential princess bridal gown, this isn't your place. Many of their designers specialize in very intricate lace and beading: you can literally spend hours examining the handiwork on each piece. They also had a fantastic selection of jewelry, veils, and hair accessories, all with a very vintage and fantastic feel. I would highly recommend this place to any bride who wants to stand out and feel unique!

Yelp
Kelly's Closet is flat out great! Their gowns are mostly couture so I assumed they were out of my range, and it stayed on my back burner at first. By the time I went to Kelly's Closet, I was overwhelmed and stressed out having visited other bridal salons. Kelly's Closet was an immediate breath of fresh air and exactly what I had been looking for all along. Kelly has a sense of style and an eye for beauty that shows in her selection of gowns. They are unique, stylish and just plain pretty! The atmosphere is not stuffy and you don't feel like anyone is judging you, regardless of your dress size or your wallet size. I was assisted by Chandra who gave just the right amount of support and enthusiasm that helped steer me in a direction that was right for me. I ended up with the perfect gown and stayed well within my modest budget. Both their bridal and non bridal sections have amazing sales with huge markdowns on great stuff, so be sure to get on their mailing list to find out about the latest. The bridal section makes you feel truly special, but bride or not, you will love this store!

Yelp
NEVER AGAIN. rude and unhappy sales help Shop filled with unhappy ladies and dresses for size 2 girls. Even though the website has "rules" supporting all sizes....boo! After a wonderful first shop experience my mom, sister and I went to kelly's with high hopes. From the moment we walked in I knew this was not going to be fun. The women who greeted us, no smile :|, seemed unhappy and walked away with a quick hold on. She returned 5 minutes later and unfortunately she was our gal. We picked out some dresses while she hovered around shooting down our ideas. Off to the fitting room we went...I tried on 6 dresses and was not madly in love with any. Our gal wrote out the cost of the one that was a possibility and brought over the book to check sizes. For a shop that has "RULES" against calling yourself fat I was shocked when she said "you might fit in the largest size" Now I am not a skinny gal but not a giant either- a 12-14 street size- such a great ending to a horrible visit.

Yelp
For starters, you're a first rate bride worthy of looking and feeling your absolute best. Don't let anyone make you feel like anything less! That said, Kelly's Closet is a beautifully curated boutique. However, the shop and experience feels chaotic and disorganized. If you find your dream dress here, I highly recommend only purchasing from Kelly's if you can work with Kelly directly. And if you choose to do alterations with them, I strongly recommend only working with Kelly and seamstress Angela. Happy shopping!

Yelp
Great shopping experience. I went on a Wednesday and was helped by Jenny. I brought along my kindest bridesmaid, her very patient boyfriend, and a bottle of champagne - it was my first wedding gown shopping trip afterall, everything is a celebration :) I was told (after the fact) that because my appointment was midweek we were able to go (well) over the 1 hour appointment time. Perfect. After trying on 27 dresses (yes, really!) we narrowed it down to just 8. I will be back in a few weeks when my man of honor is in town to make a final decision. I will agree with the other reviewers that this place is a bit pricey. The most expensive dress I liked was one by Claire Pettibone for $5,060 and the least expensive was another by Modern Trousseau for $3,255. My median priced dress was Jenny Lee's #1102 for $4,350. I didn't ask about prices for any of the other dresses I didn't choose for the final 8 so I have no idea if the prices get any lower.
