Kelowna Art Gallery

I appreciate their efforts in bringing a wide variety of artwork to Kelowna. I visit whenever possible, because entry is very reasonable! Small enough to finish a walkthrough in ~1 hr.

The exhibits were very interesting! I spent about 45 minutes touring the three rooms, and spent a few minutes in the craft room at the end. I appreciated the small handout for the main exhibit, and the artist videos. There's an original art vending machine!

The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, engaging, and consistently high quality, showcasing a great mix of contemporary, local, and Canadian artists. The space itself is bright, welcoming, and easy to explore, making it enjoyable whether you’re a dedicated art lover or just stopping in casually. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and there’s always something new to discover with rotating exhibits. It’s an inspiring, relaxing place to spend an hour and a must-visit spot for anyone exploring Kelowna’s arts scene.

Visited this art gallery in Kelowna and, although small, it's definitely worth a visit. I went on a Thursday, and a kind lady informed me it's free on Thursdays, which was a pleasant surprise. The gallery may be small, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Dempsey Bob exhibition. It's incredible what the artist accomplished with wood. A hidden gem that I highly recommend checking out!

What a beautiful experience. My family was here for the viewing of sculptures made entirely of Lego by artist Ekow Nimako...Simply spectacular! We also just so happen to be there to see very impressive artwork by some very talented high school students. Small museum, great exhibits and very accommodating staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience 🙏🏽

Kelowna Art gallery is beautifully organized. It is not as big compared to one in Vancouver or Calgary. Everyone is very friendly and welcomes with a smile. We went for the nut cracker ballet. 10/10

Home without a name. 👌 It was truly inspiring to hear the artist share their ideas and explain the creative process behind the artwork. The experience was both meaningful and greatly appreciated.

On day 57 of our 10,000 miles North America road trip, we had the pleasure of visiting the Kelowna Art Gallery, right in the heart of Kelowna's Cultural District. The experience was nothing short of fantastic! Not only does the gallery offer free entrance on Thursday until 8 pm, but it's also a hub of creativity. We explored the gallery's exhibitions, Classe for workshops, the attractive installations both outside and inside the building. What truly stood out was the impeccable visitor support at the reception. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and ready to assist with any inquiries. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. The curatorial team was impressive, responding promptly to our questions and providing valuable insights. As for pricing, it's very reasonable: Students and Seniors: $6 Family: $14 Children under 12: FREE Whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a wonderful cultural experience in Kelowna, the Kelowna Art Gallery is a must-visit. We highly recommend it!

Very small art gallery with just 2 rooms. One good thing is on Thursdays it's free admission so definitely worth checking out but not sure I would want to pay admission here.. Value 4/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Service 4/5 Quality 3/5 15/20

I had a very pleasant visit. There were a selection of three exhibits plus a hands on mask painting opportunity in the Art Lab, to reflect on the Dempsey Bob exhibit. Thursdays are free, and the rest of the week a small fee. It's worth the price of admission. The staff was inviting and informative,

We had a very pleasant time visiting the Kelowna Art Gallery. The gallery isn't huge but it has a few cool exhibits going on, especially now (Warhol and Banksy). Very fun way to spend an hour or two, definitely recommend checking out!

Amazing art gallery. The kids will love the Sunday family day, very glad that we have this here in kelowna, support Canadian and local artists, you have to go and visit.
