I always have a great time at Kemo Sabe Aspen. I had an amazing experience this time with both Victoria one day and then Jackson on the next day. They’re both so friendly and so creative I can’t wait to wear my hats back home! Definitely worth the hustle and bustle in the store. You really feel like you’re with friends. Thanks to both of you!

Had THE best time treating my mom to the full Kemo Sabe experience in Aspen! Rachel was so amazing, helpful and extremely patient while my mom soaked it all in and had 2 stunning hats made. We seriously feel that we’ve made a lifelong friend with how amazing Rachel was. Can’t wait to go back and visit!!

Disappointing is an understatement. I bought nearly a $1,400 hat from this location on Labor Day. I was told the beaver would hold up a lot better than the rabbit (which, I have a rabbit one already and it's held up incredible). I wore this hat only a few times until it fell apart, and that is not an exaggeration. I was told it can get a little wet. I went to a concert where it was drizzling, and it completely lost it's shape, it shrunk on me, the $200 leather band fell off (didn't realize it until after I got home), and it bled all over the hat. I went back to the Aspen location to see if I can get it fixed, and not only was I completely ignored, I was told that there was nothing they can do to help. They **tried** to reshape the hat, but it didn't do a damn thing. They then tossed on a little "glittered" band to try and rectify it. Because I am not a Kardashian, Kyle Richards, or someone of fame or money, they literally did not give 2 craps about helping an average person like myself. THANKFULLY, I went to the Vail location and one of the reps there was an actual angel and took the time to bring it back to life and rectify the wrong that this location did. Shame on all of the workers there, especially the manager who said their "policy is there is nothing they can do"... I would never go back and waste my time, and neither should you. The very first picture is when I first got it. The rest, well, that is the aftermath.

Amazing people, great finds beyond hats and obviously the hat experience is 👌. Erica really made the process as enjoyable as the outcome.

Beautiful hats! We asked to try on a specific hat and were given one that was "more accessible". We probably would have bought something if they weren't so busy hosting a bachelorette party.

We had the greatest experience at Kemo Sabe in Aspen this weekend. Waited in line for about 15 minutes then were invited in and paired with Jackson. I brought one of my old Stetsons in not sure if I wanted a new hat or just spruce up the one I had. Jackson found me a new Stetson in the color I wanted then proceeded to adorn it beautifully with ribbons, leather, feathers and branding. I’m so happy with the finished piece. The best part of it all was the experience, great customer service and so much fun! I had to return the next day and pick up a pair of gloves that I had admired and got those branded as well. My only ask would be that they get more branding irons - birds!

Had an amazing time here with a group of girlfriends designing hats and celebrating my best friend's engagement! It was my first time at any Kemo Sabe and though I was overwhelmed at first, the incredible staff made all of us feel so welcome and made sure that each girl in our group was 100% happy with how our hats turned out. Huge shout out to Allison. She made me feel so comfortable, so heard, and so confident!! This experience would not have been the same without her. All the staff were excellent but I can't say enough amazing things about Allison!! Overall you are paying for not just a quality hat but the entire shopping and customizing experience at Kemo Sabe, so though expensive, the value of the experience overall is undeniable!

I mean did you really come to Aspen if you didn't leave in a Kemo Sabe?!! No! No, you didn't. As excited as I was to come in and customize a hat, let me tell you my heart just about fell out of my chest when I spotted the entire Hunt family in here. Absolutely unreal, if you have zero idea who I'm referring to then you aren't a Chiefs fan but I just about fell out on the floor. Obviously, I didn't say a single word because I'm just not the type but the only reason I was even in town was because Gracie ran the Aspen Valley Marathon some years back and I bookmarked this marathon to run sometime. It was totally serendipitous! I have so many hats! I'm a serious hat woman, I think my last count was near or over 60 (not Kemo Sabe, c'mon that would be insane- but hats in general). When selecting a hat I wanted a color I didn't have already. It was down to purple, pink or yellow and I decided on pink. The pics look coral but it's really a lovely pink. I almost wanted white but I think I'll get it too dirty and there's actually a white Stetson I want. I jazzed her up and was on my way. Eventually I'll add hat pins and other bedazzlements but this was a good start. Base pricing ranges from $495-$895 and other pins and such are a couple hundred dollars from what I saw. Very fun store! Zero wait the times I came in. Victoria helped me and was a total sweetheart.

What a fun place to check out. Heard about it from the real housewives show. Free house cocktail and bar snacks upstairs. So much creativity going on there.

My first experience is unforgettable. However, yesterday definitely changed my mind, and I will not be returning to the Aspen store. I came in yesterday to get my winter hat. Had the best time as always, but as I was branding my hat, there were two sales personnel gossiping in the corner. Completely un called for and very unprofessional. It's a shame that this company would stand for that and allow the employees to gossip in front of the buying customer. I have never felt so uncomfortable that I actually speed my process up just to leave the store. Whoever the tall man and the girl with a nose ring should really undergo customer service class because of behavior like that gives the whole company a bad name. People go in there expecting to pay good money and good service. Standing there listening to them gossip turned my stomach upside down.

Okay we had to wait; yes wait 30 minutes outside to get into one of the best cowboy & cowgirl shop in all the Wild West! We were chanting and dancing while waiting until the "doorman" let us in. I had the best time treating my wife to a Kemo Sabe that really looks so cool on her! Service is highly personalized and my wife purchased spent more than one hour analyzing different hat options. I had already bought a cool hat in rabbit that held very well for more than 8 years at Kemo Sabe. Their selection of hats is impressive. They also have great western style gears including cowboy boots from El Paso Texas!!. You can get a hat for around $350 up to several thousands so pick and choose what makes sense for your purses!! They serve you Margueritas while you wait which is such a nice touch! The place rocks! My best friend K brought us in as he is a local here and I have to say this is a really cool place; but arm yourself with patience as our wait was long! I even met a classmate from HBS which was really cool and a friend from El Paso! Needles to say we had a great deal of fun!

I recently purchased two pairs of boots from Kemo Sabe. The first purchase was a five star experience. My last experience was much different. I purchased the Kemo Sabe Nike Crocodile boots pictured in early October. The boots shipped but were untraceable and had no status with FedEx for two weeks. The boots arrived nearly three weeks after the order was placed. When I opened the box, it was immediately clear the boots had been worn. When I raised the issue with customer service, I was told the wear came from the boots being tried on in the store. In reality it looked as if they had been worn for much more than a try on. When these boots retail for nearly 3K (I got them on sale), I find it hard to believe that these boots are not worn on carpet until purchased. To date Kemo Sabe has not offered to refund my shipping or give me courtesy credit. In short, Kemo Sabe has some great products but is clearly lacking in customer service. Two stars.

Sold me new boots.. They showed up used. They said from trying on in store. Better get carpet then. Looked like they went down the street in them..

Excellent experience today working with the Kemo Sabe staff at Roundtop, Texas location. Lauren was awesome and truly gave first class service when I reached out to the store looking for specific hat bands! I highly recommend if you're looking for unique selections.

Really awesome place! Wish I bought something:(. They have tons of awesome cowboy/cowgirl hats, boots, jewelry, you name it. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful. One day I will be back with my wallet in tow(not that I didn't have it when coming in-the husband was with me). The prices are pretty expensive, but I believe it's worth the price tag. If you like hats or sparkle or even animal print-go here you will not regret it!

Had such a great experience here at Kemo Sabe! While my mom purchased a hat I asked one of the associates, Jett, if he wouldn't mind cleaning my hat that I had purchased in Texas at a Kemo Sabe pop up a year ago! He said yes and cleaned it and even re shaped it to make it even! To top it off he refreshed my feathers and added a few more. My hat looks brand new!

I just want to say thank you so much to Jet who fixed my hat and hat band that was run over by a car . I sent it to the place that made the band they said there was no hope but Jet took it upon himself to fix it he new how much it meant to me and he fixed it and it looks just perfect ! I'm so thankful for Jet he wouldn't charge me just did it on his own. Thank you Jet! I appreciate it so much !

Love this place!! I've worn western hats and boots for most of my life. So I was right at home here. They offered me a whiskey, and answered all my questions! I didn't intend to buy anything and I made that known but it didn't stop them from helping me. After everything was said and done I ended up walking out with a great new Stetson lol. It's definitely my favorite hat I own now. Even had it personalized which was so cool. If you go in and you look at the cost of the hats just be aware that it seems expensive l, but if you wear them daily it's well worth the cost. This hat will probably outlast me at this point and I'm 37 lol.

Went to Aspen during the Wine and Food Festival, only to visit Kemo Sabe! Spent part of each of 5 days there designing one of each of the new pastel hats and two Gus hats! The owner siblings Wendy and Bobby are great! They have wonderful inventory: hats, boots, buckles, belts, clothes, LV purses and jewelry! They create a happy celebratory atmosphere. They have fun and bring their clients along. The staff is incredible, especially our friend and Personal Concierge Wrangler, Aaron! We were the first customers in Jackson. We've been to Vail, Park City, pop-ups in Ft Worth and Round Top and, now, finally, the Pilgrimage to the Flagship Store in Aspen! Thanks to everyone, we had a blast!

when a store makes you want to quit your job and move to aspen and become a hat stylist- you know they've made it. yes there can be a line- Saturday nights there are willddd. if you get huffy about waiting- try a nice Monday afternoon. the girls have all been wonderful. im so obsessed with the hat i bought there i went back with an old stetson I had so they could doctor it up. i would buy everything if I could. if you're in the market for a hat worthy of the price tag- this place is a gem. already got my next one picked out...

My friend and I joked this is like Build a Bear for adults. Such a fun experience here building a custom hat. The sales team is excellent . We selected the hat style and then selected custom bands, feathers and ribbons to accessorize your hat and make it your own one of a kind. They brand your initials ! An Aspen experience - Not to be missed . Amazing boot and jewelry selection too.

Pricey and my head is too small, but every single person here is willing to help you find the one that works for your style.

Kemo Sabe is an absolute go to when you visit Aspen. It's all about the experience and they make the experience one to remember. The people working here are awesome and everything they sell is top notch and very cool. I have about five hats from Kemo Sabe all of them unique and beautiful.

Our experience at Kemo Sabe was the highlight of our trip to Aspen. Ali was our sales associate, turned best friend! We absolutely loved her, she was so much fun, super talented and didn't make any of us feel pressured (guys included). Ali nailed our style right away. We spent a couple hours in the store and didn't want to leave. We went back the next day and Ali took the time to work with us, find the perfect hat knife for my husband. She's a a true gift. Cannot wait to return in the spring! Thank you Kemo Sabe and Ali!

Me and my friends had the absolute best time in this store! Jet help me with my hat, and then we came back and my girlfriend carol loved my hat so much Jet helped her with hers. He was so fun, helpful and knowledgeable that he made it a memory for all of us . Highly recommend coming in and ask for a Jet.

All the construction work and remodeling have been completed. There is now a hitching post outside the front door and a soft area for horses to be "parked" instead of an automobile.

This is a great store with a great name. Lots of Western ware like hats, boots and many other accessories. Super friendly service and great jewelry. Overall a fun place to come in and shop.

I've been into Kemo Sabe a few times with the last being right before Christmas 2022. Even though the store was busy, that was expected given it was right before the holidays. This store tends to get busy during peak times so be patient and politely ask for some help once one of the designers is finished with their previous client. Kendall was exceptionally helpful throughout the whole hat building process. She had a great eye for color and was even able to brand a mountain onto the hat using a variety of branding irons.

Horrible customer service. And obviously the business is intending to rip customers off. There are signs in the store suggesting that their merchandise is in fact overpriced. One sign in particular actually suggested that customers should slide cash under the door if they're not open, presumably so that you can waste money there regardless of the hour. Why not just tell your customers "fuck you" when they walk into the store? I think it would be a much quicker way to get your point across.

Was visiting Aspen and stopped into this store as I view it as an iconic spot. Being such an iconic spot, the workers should be respectful and accommodating to ALL who come in the store. There was a tall, skinny, blonde worker at the cashier and as I walked up to check out (yes I was purchasing items, despite her faces and what she thought), she looked at me and walked away to go help other customers. I was about to put back the items, but thankfully a younger man who was working the other cash register took me and helped me out. Extremely disrespectful of the blonde woman and honestly I don't think she should work there if she is going to turn away potential business.

Stumbled in with Ted to look at the Stetsons for him... I tried one on and really liked it. Matt was super helpful and nice. This store has the best of the best western wear (accessories), and some gift items. If you appreciate finely crafted leather goods, from hats and boots to purses and jewelry, you'll love it here. So we eventually bought a Stetson for me only, and he decided to think about one for himself. Then they branded my initials into the back of the hat. :)

Recently did my first order with them (online - I live too far). It was a totally great experience. I had to do an exchange (my fault - didn't fit) and it was so nice to get such a fast response. The exchange process was easy and quick. I can't wait to place another order. Thank you to Bridget who was the one to email and call. She was kind, efficient and extremely helpful.

First experience at the Aspen store was great. Second experience was the opposite. I bought a lovely hat there 4 years ago and loved it. Customer service was on point. Came back to buy another this week, and service was fine until I checked out. The sales person put my brand new light colored hat in one of their dark colored bags. It stained the light colored hat because they had steamed the hat. I came back the next day and they attempted to clean it unsuccessfully. Didn't offer to provide me a New hat which I think they should have since the stains were not my fault. Disappointed and won't be going back. Stuck with my $345 stained hat.

Spied some baby sized cowboy boots on Instagram the other day and ordered them for my great grand daughter. Ive shopped Kemo Sabe in person a few times as well and there is NOTHING like this shop anywhere else in the world. Burns in Park City is a contender but they dont have a BAR. A great place to browse with some of the nicest people Ive ever run into. They'll help you find jewelry or a hat or some fine looking boots. Hope to shop in person soon!

You guys come to Dallas or Forth Worth, Texas to buy cowboy hats and boots with much better quality and much better price. I am shock anyone will pay for such price with bad service. The shop is roped off and ppl need to line up to get in to endure the bad attitude of the owner and staff

Don't bother to try and get into the store. It's roped off and only certain people are invited in by the obnoxious employees. After patiently waiting in line for 20 minutes and we were next in line, the obnoxious employees let other people in front of us claiming they had "appointments". If you take appointments then offer them to everyone, not just your friends. Lost a big sale!

Even for Aspen this place is seriously attitudinal. If your idea of a good time is condescending, dismissive attention to anyone buying anything but their most expensive wares, then treat yourself to a stint at this place. Some The boots and hats are great but nothing you can't find for a fraction of the price elsewhere, but the opportunity to be condescended to ... oooh that's tough to pass up.

Visited the shop while in Aspen on vacation. Was very disappointed with the layout of the store along with the sub-par merchandise. Being in Aspen I expected a much more pleasant shopping experience. I found the store to be boring and it resembled a souvenir shop. I was hoping to find upscale, unique items. I could not find anyone to help me locate something I was looking for. When I finally got help, she was rude and off-putting. Aspen deserves better shops!

We had loads of fun browsing around this family-owned Western apparel store. A sign inside boast it's "Aspen the way it used to be." That's probably true, when more folks walked around in leather pants, fringed jackets, and cowboy hats. They have just about everything here in the way of leather goods: hats, jewelry, belt buckles, bags, travel accessories, and more. The women's boot selection was fantastic. Need a sheep skin or a cow hide? They have them here, along with several taxidermy specimens, including a wolvereen and a skunk. Be prepared to drop some serious dough but I feel like the quality here is worth it. Otherwise, there's plenty of eye candy in this store to enjoy if you'd just like a diversion while strolling through town.

What a pleasure, what a place, what an authentic experience. We first stumbled on Kemo Sabe two years ago and I always admired a hat that Ronald Reagan had in a 1980 campaign poster. Well wouldn't you know the campaign poster is hanging there and I said to Emily (the best ask for no one else but her) I want that hat. So after custom fitting, steaming, shaping etc. I now have one for myself. This year my wife bought boots, my son a great looking hat and me well I got a fancy hat for Sundays and evenings out. What a treat...What a store...What an experience and what a great sales person Emily, ask for her and tell her I sent you.

If you're into anything western, and you want your mind constantly blown by beauty, please stop here. I had excellent service by Greta and Jennifer. I got an amazing ring here for my birthday that Jennifer helped style. It's very special and unique and I'll hold it dear forever! Custom hats, belts, etc!! Love this store.

Always fun to visit this store. So nicely decorated and lots of stuff to look at:)) or get lots of presents!!! Finally I got my cowgirl boots and the buying experience was at my expectations! All are nice, have patience, make conversations and help you out a lot. They gave me a little present for my boots:))) and showed me how to use it and the Yelp check in offer was honored. At first they were like:"what is this?" But a phone call solved the problem. Love my boots and the treats That came with them....love my boot jack(learned a new word:))) and the boot tree is so feminine:)))) can I say that? Really look like is for women boots:)))) nice wood color and great smell!!! I'll be back!!!

I do not live in the Aspen area, but have been wanting a hat for a while now! I thought I would need to wait until I was able to visit a store until I discovered I could reach out via the custom hat link on the website. I received an email back the next day from Bridget who was wonderful and so incredibly helpful. She walked me through each step (sizing, customization, picking a hat style and color, picking a hat band, etc.). I can't say enough great things! I have been talking endlessly about it since to my extended family and all my friends.

If you're looking for excellent customer service and a unique Selection of goods this is the place to go couldn't ask for any better customer service from everybody there! Colin Ray is the bomb!
