Gozo Is a Hidden Gem in the Mediterranean, How to Visit
"For a touch of luxury on your Gozo getaway, book a stay at the Kempinski Hotel. Here, guests will find spacious suites, including several with massive patios for enjoying the outdoors, and residential-style apartments, as well as several restaurants and a full-service spa to help you further unwind." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"Why we love it: A wellness-centric resort with a luxury spa for the adults and multiple pools for the kids The Highlights: - An authentic Ayurveda Center for balancing spa treatments - Three outdoor pools, two indoor pools, and a Jacuzzi - Six on-site dining and drinking destinations to please the whole family The Review: Surrounded by more than seven acres of greenery on the small island of Gozo, this wellness-focused resort offers the ultimate escape from larger, busier Malta. The five-star hotel has 140 rooms and suites, multiple indoor and outdoor pools, and six restaurants and bars, though the highlight is most definitely the spa, which comprises one of the largest Ayurvedic centers in the Mediterranean. Here, guests can indulge in a variety of Eastern and Western treatments, take complimentary yoga classes multiple times a week, or simply make use of the facilities, which include two indoor heated pools, a Jacuzzi, relaxation areas, and a steam chamber. Standard and deluxe rooms offer ample space to spread out with seating areas, balconies, and marble bathrooms, while suites take things to the next level with sweeping views of the hillside or pools. If you’re traveling with a group, spring for the two-bedroom family suite, which even includes a kitchenette and dining area. Across all the guestrooms, design is traditional with modern accents, making for a stylish stay."
We had a lovely warm welcome, particularly the doorman was extremely helpful taking us to the room and explaining the A/C etc.|The room was large and comfortable, with good facilities and the view to the pool was very pleasing.|Staff were very friendly, we were B&B, but did have lunch at the hotel, the salads were super quality. The breakfast had a great choice as well as an extra a la carte menu, which was excellent. |We would highly recommend a stay here, we had an amazing time at this 5* hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds, multiple pools, restaurants, a spa, and large airy rooms, all with great views. In-room facilities are of a very high standard and the hotel is tastefully decorated and very well maintained. The staff are without exception very courteous and helpful. The hotel itself is surrounded by open country-side and is very quiet, a haven away from it all! Highly recommended!

Incredible place which makes us visit regularly however service is limited probably due to high season. We had to ask the reception to come and set our children’s beds, had to ask for towels, even though we were out till 15.00 the room was not clean on our return and the basics in the room were catered for 2 visitors and not for a family. We received a cake and fruit because we celebrated a birthday during our stay and unfortunately the name was misspelled and we thought it was for someone else until we clarified with the reception.

We went early in the season before U.K. school holidays. Myself my husband and my 16 yr old daughter. ||We booked a junior suit with an extra bed. Nowhere did the detail record that the extra bed was the sofa. A sofa bed, resulting in the living area being unusable and quite an uncomfortable bed with metal frame which meant my daughter was hitting her legs while sleeping. ||We arrived to the Lady in Red with the case carrier ignore us and head off. We were left to carry our cases up the steps and into reception with no one on the doors to open them. ||We then faced three reception desks. Two were dealing with people and the empty middle one scurried off leaving us again to wait for the other desk to become free. We were not offered a welcome drink or anything. ||The sofa bed had only one pillow so we requested another which didn’t arrive so we made a second request. The balcony only had two chairs so we requested another given there were three of us. It never arrived. ||The wait time for food in the pool bar is ridiculous and the entire experience not relaxing. There appears to be no one manager with control and lots of staff my daughter’s age. So if you like year 11/12 it will be great for you! ||The price in the pool bar is expensive for what it is. We gave up after day three and either skipped lunch or headed out to local restaurants. ||There are lots of families with young children so be prepared for lots of running around and noise. Breakfast etc. also lots of noise in the room. We were woke constantly by running and crying children at all hours. There appears to be no family room area. ||Breakfast was average with the yr 11 chaos. The cooked food isnt covered at the buffet so watch the flies! ||The over 16’s pool is 2m deep plus so no standing ability. The filtration may be broken as daily multiple guests had to ask for one section to be cleaned of a sun lotion scum. The pool showers need cleaning as there is no rose fountain. We noticed a review with this from 2 yrs ago. ||The one real positive was the lovely lady who arrived to turn down your room. Helpful and polite. And moving on to room cleaning by the third day it had stopped. We called at 16:50 and asked why we were told to read the small print and that they had until 17:00 to clean! There was no cleaning cart etc so clearly they were not going to clean unless we asked. They did apologise later to be fair. ||All in all disappointing. We stayed at five star in Malta such as the conrinthia palace and it was the polar opposite, great in every respect. ||Sorry we won’t return. ||The gym is poor and outdated too. A blood stained plaster was on the stairs for 6 days.

Lovely room- everything brand new- super comfy beds, beautiful decor.||Rooms are also catered for kids, with a lovely teepee which my daughter loved and welcome treats too. ||Staff were super helpful, constantly checking on us- even calling us during our stay. We have stayed in many hotels but we keep on returning here as we love it.||Also, a special mention to Sherif at the main restaurant- he is impeccable in his work- very welcoming and made sure we had a great breakfast experience.||Overall we loved our stay and we cant back to be back again

I came here for the first time this week and spent the day by the pool.
At the beginning, it was a bit confusing because we didn’t realise we had to go to the spa to make the payment. We went straight to the pool bar, but they told us we had to go to the spa first. It was a bit annoying, honestly.
But after that, everything went really well. The weather was perfect, and the service by the pool was very good. One of the pool attendants even helped us adjust our sunbeds, which was nice. Even when it got a bit busy, they still came around to take our drink orders.
There was one guy in particular he was wearing those crew grip socks and looked like a young George Michael very friendly and polite. I didn’t catch his name, but I think it was Ruhan or maybe Ryan.
All in all, we had a great time and we’ll definitely come again.
