Kenangan Hotel

Amazing location and a good price. Lots of food nearby. My only problem is the room wasn't too dark and I had a few mosquito's flying around my room. Friendly staff Some entitled westerner complained about the staffs lack of English on TripAdvisor. Why dont you use Google translate if its a problem? This is indonesia and not many people speak english.. pay more if you want people who speak english

Walking distance to Bandung train station. The station has two exits, the one at the Angkot (local public mini van) terminal has to walk up the overhead bridge to cross the rails leading to the hotel. While from the other exit, turn right and walk straight about 200 meter you can see the hotel's signboard. We were given rooms at the ground level, at first the twin bed room which has warmer air conditioner. With our request, they allowed us to change to Queen room with better air conditioner. We have to borrow hair dryer from the receptionist and the water dispenser is outside the room. There is lift to upper floor, but we didn't try it. Foods are available when you walk straight further up to the Bandung station. We used the Angkot to the Lembang tourist area at Indo Rp12,000 per person. Be reminded, no time schedule, only move once the van is full.

Hotel located justin the center of Bandung, few minutes walk from Stasiun Bandung and right next to the residence of West Java Governor. The hotel is quite old, maintenance is lacking, but rooms are clean and quite spacious. Service is good, they even clean your car. Location is very quiet. Recommended

Booked standart twin room, price wise Small but compact room for two, twin bed, two chairs, two coffee tables and an open shelf Pretty clean, but i guess since it's an old hotel, the furniture and place looks old and kinda dark Right next to the bed is the bathroom, got one small soap and shampoo, there's hot water too, clean towel Staffs r nice and helpful, u can ask for cleaning when u go. Location's very strategic, only 2-5 minutes to the nearest train station and many food place or Paskal. Minus point, mosquito (u might need a repellent), sounds from outside can be heard if they talks near the room u stay, and the floor doesnt seem to be cleaned very well.

What you get is what you pay. The hotel is like a vintage place to stay. Rooms are standard, breakfast has no options, staff will deliver the fried rice to your room. TV has limited channels and not clear pictures. Limited area for car park too. The best ones are, you can refill your drink, friendly staffs and you will get your car washed in the morning without you ask for. I am not sure if the car is clean already, will they wash it too? My car was dirty when we got there because of raining.

My family of 3 has booked a flight + Kenangan Hotel package through Malindo Air for the most attractive price for 3 nights stay. For the price we paid we did not expect much - we thought we will be contented with the 3 beds + breakfast, and its proximity to the Central market. Yeah there have wifi too, which is a condition for us, and we thought accessing it at the lobby is sufficient for us.||However, we were pleasantly surprised. Not only is the wifi available in the room, and all around the hotel, it was very strong too! Each time we came back walking into the hotel gate before reaching the entrance, my Malaysian phone will sound like crazy all the WhatsApp messages I missed - that show how strong their wifi was.||Here's the summary on the 2nd Floor room we got:||Plus Points:||1. Cheap price for a comfortable stay and good location||2. Strong wifi||3. Free mineral water in room, and hot water available at common area in each floor||4. more than 60 channels on TV||5. Only 15-20 mins from airport (taxi from airport standard about Rp65k, from hotel to airport by meter about Rp40k).||6. clean place and friendly hotel staff||7. small fridge available.||||Minus Points:||1. Water pressure quite low||2. Breakfast only choice of fried rice or bread. Coffee was good though.||3. No lift - but only max 2 floors.||4. There was a concert in front of the hotel one night, but thankfully it ended before 12 midnight.

A nice place to stay for budget lodging. It's within walking distance from the train station so you can experience going around the city by foot. It has clean bathroom and convenient bedroom but the hotel doesn't have great lighting so it can feel scary at night.

Room was clean and theres hot shower. Staff friendly. Near to Bandung Train Station and Pasar Baru. Its quite strategic place. All i can is, if you're looking for budget hotel just for sleeping, this is the place. Provide free breakfast like nasi goreng, mee and bread. But do not have your expectation high because it's a old hotel. To me, its worth the price with free breakfast.
