Nice low lit spot for a date night in Aspen! This was one of the only spots open the week before memorial weekend, but we enjoyed our sushi. Good fish, good menu, decent drinks, and great service. Fish was fresh. We loved the special yellowtail shashimi and the salmon and eel rolls. Yummy. Was over $200 and we didn't even get more than 3 drinks but typical for aspen.

Our experience at Kenichi was top notch from start to finish! Everyone was so kind, and the food was exceptional! Our server, Zach, made the experience feel like we were right at home and went above and beyond throughout our entire meal. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend this spot to anyone visiting aspen!

Anniversary dinner, greeted by the owner at the door- impeccable service, awesome food (highly recommend anything wagyu, matcha cheesecake and otoro) and fresh sushi in an atmosphere with 🤌🏼 sexy music.

Servers were too busy, was always looking for a server the whole night. Foods come in small quantities (consider the price) but taste okay. Salmon was not so good in quality.

A beautiful restaurant with wonderful sushi. Their tuna tataki melts in your mouth. Excellent service. While celebrating my birthday there last night, we were given a free dessert and more importantly, a free Kinichi hat! Great experience!

We came here because we actually had dinner reservations, recommended by our hotel at another sushi spot in the area with a famous chef. We had such a horrible time with overpriced starters there, we left without dinner. We search online for this Kenichi Aspen and walked around the corner and found this place. We didn't have reservations, but the hostesses were lovely. They asked how our day was going, complimented our outfits and sat us at a nice table. The servers were so welcoming...they asked us where we were from and just gave very personalized customer service. The food was amazing. There was something wr got that was a miss, but it was still wonderful. This place also has good ambience and wonderful drinks. Even people dining in the restaurant are very pleasant and speak to you as you walk around. I would definitely suggest this spot for sushi in Aspen over any other place. I can't wait to return.

I don’t even eat fish, yet I’m absolutely in love with all the vegetarian sushi, salads, and especially the desserts here. I really enjoy this place — I’m a regular and plan to keep it that way.

Great food and good service! The crispy tofu was surprisingly good! Well-seasoned and great texture. Definitely the highlight of the meal since it has a very unique taste that I have not had before in other Japanese restaurants. Scallop was tender. The mushrooms and the vegetables underneath the scallops were yummy. The Godzilla roll was good. The strawberry on top was actually a good addition to the roll - a little bit of sourness makes it tastes lighter. The shrimp was a little heavy: both the coating and the sauce. But still good. Overall I enjoyed the quality of the food I tried here.
