Kennedy Vins

Kennedy wine bar was great! Starting with the great selection of French natural wines and enhanced by the lovely intimate atmosphere. Keep in mind that means space is limited since it’s quite small, but that made the spot even better. It was a great chill spot for a few drinks.

i absolutely loved this place. the staff made sure everything was fine while also helping us with the menu. PLUS the atmosphere is incredible with vinyls playing and ambient lighting!

The most elegant aperitivo bar in Athens! As the only one french bar in our area, this place stands out on exclusive french wine with great matched «apéritif» and refined ambiance!!!

Finally, a place to serve artisan canned goods along with natural fermented Wines! A place with sense&style on your plate, in your glass and in your ears! Try the sardines with bread&butter, and accompany your red wine selection with the Iberico cold cuts! Feel free to come again tomorrow, ‘cause the winelist will be totally different. Keep the dream alive.

This bar is a special little place, tucked away on a quiet street. Where it lacks in space, it makes up in soul. The owner, Chris, is usually at the back, curating an anthology of sounds in the listening area. It very much feels like you’re in a his dining room, just dropping by for a sip and chat. Generally the energy is quite special and intimate. The wine natural, and just looking at the list is like reading poetry. One of my favourite spots in Athens by far!!!

Only French wines which is disappointing. Nothing Greek at all. Especially because there is such interesting Greek natural wine. Two wines I had were very funky. Kind of natural wine 1.0. What you’d expect from natural wine scene in 2012. Service was eh. Cheese was cold (French wine and cold cheese???) very disappointing I wouldn’t go back, and I love natural wine! Also it’s extremely expensive for what it is. Almost NYC prices for run-of-the-mill natty wine.

Kennedy Vins is a true gem. In a city like Athens where many bars look alike, Kennedy brings a breath of fresh air - starting with the natural wines handpicked by Chris and the aesthetic of the space which was constructed with his family. It’s the kind of place where you forget about space and time, you can just swing by for a quick glass of Petnat or stay all night on the communal table playing cards and listening to great music.

I love stopping by this place anytime I am in Athens. Great wines and food and above all a nice atmosphere. I m usually in Athens for work so it's good to come here and relax surrounded by friendly faces. The wine card is great! to not miss if you are in Athens or just visiting.
