Why You Should Visit Tofino, Canada if You Love Food - AFAR
"The mossy, serene forests around this lake feature towering straight pines, plush green carpets and frequent dramatic fog—conditions that create a rich habitat for a wide variety of large wild mushrooms. For visitors the area offers a peaceful, contemplative foraging experience akin to forest bathing (with the practical caveat that legal foraging rules vary by location)." - Kathryn Romeyn

Clayoquot beach arm has some very nice secluded back country camp grounds. Quite a bit of a walk from car parking. So pack lightly if you are camping.

Lovely, gorgeous lake. Great place to spend the day with the family. I believe there is no overnight camping which is fair because the bears do tend to come out at that time.

Such a beautiful lake. I love taking in all the scenery whenever I'm passing by on the way out to Tofino! So blue and so gorgeous with all the mountains around.
